المُشْرِكِيْنَ
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – المُشْرِكِيْنَ is a noun

| Neither those who disbelieve from the people of the book, nor the polytheists wish | مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ وَلَا المُشْرِكِيْنَ | |
| that any good be sent down to you from your Lord | أَنْ يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| 2-105 | but Allah (SWT) chooses for His Mercy who He wills and Allah (SWT) is the Possessor of Great Bounty | وَاللهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَاللهُ ذُوْ الفَضْلِ العَظِيْمِ |
| And they say: “Be Jews or Christians then you will be guided” | وَقَالُوْا كُوْنُوْا هُوْدًا أَوْ نَصَارَى تَهْتَدُوْا | |
| 2-135 | Say “Nay the religion of Ebrahim (AS) is upright and he was not of the polytheists | قُلْ بَل مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ حَنِيْفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| and do not marry polytheist women until they believe | وَلَا تَنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَّ | |
| and a believing slave girl (maid) is better than a polytheist woman even if she impresses you | وَلَأَمَةٌ مَّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ | |
| and do not give in marriage to the polytheists (men) until they believe, and a believing slave is better | وَلَا تُنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكِيْنَ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنُوا وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ | |
| than a polytheist man even if he impresses you those, they invite to the fire | مِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ أُوْلَآئِكَ يَدْعُوْنَ إِلَى النَّارِ | |
| and Allah (SWT) invites to Paradise and forgiveness by His permission | وَاللهُ يَدْعُوا إِلَى الجَنَّةِ وَالمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ | |
| 2-221 | and He makes clear his verses for the people so that you may remember (take heed) | وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ |
| Ebrahim (AS) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was | مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيْمُ يَهُوْدِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَكِنْ كَانَ | |
| 3-67 | an upright (true) one who submitted (Muslim) and not was he from the polytheists | حَنِيْفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| Say, “Allah (SWT) spoke the truth so, follow the upright religion of Ebrahim (AS) | قُلْ صَدَقَ اللهُ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ حَنِيْفًا | |
| 3-95 | and not was he of the polytheists | وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| Say, “shall I take as a friend (helper) any other than Allah (SWT) the Creator of the heavens and the earth? | قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَآتِ وَالأَرْضِ | |
| and it is He who feeds and is not fed Say, “Truly I am commanded to be the first of those who submit | وَهُوْ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُوْنَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ | |
| 6-14 | and be not of the polytheists” | وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| Indeed, I turned (directed) my face to who created the heavens and the earth | إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ | |
| 6-79 | upright, and not am I from the polytheists | حَنِيْفًا وَمَآ أَنَاْ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| Follow what has been inspired to you from your Lord, there is no God except Him | اتَّبِعْ مَآ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَا إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ | |
| 6-106 | and turn away from the polytheists | وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| and likewise, to many of the polytheists, their partners made it fair seeming, the killing of their children | وَكَذَلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيْرٍ مِّنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَآؤُهُمْ | |
| to ruin them and to obscure for them their religion and if Allah (SWT) willed not they would have done it | لِيُرْدُوْهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْهِمْ دِيْنَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللهُ مَا فَعَلُوْهُ | |
| 6-137 | so, leave them and what they invent | فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُوْنَ |
| say, “truly me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path | قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ | |
| 6-161 | a religion, right, way (religion) of Ebrahim (AS) upright and not he was of the polytheists” | دِيْنًا قَيِّمًا مِّلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ حَنِيْفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| 9-1 | Rescinding all obligations from Allah (SWT) and His messenger to those you promised from the polytheists | بَرَآءَةٌ مِّنَ اللهِ وَرَسُوْلِهِ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ عَهَدْتُمْ مِّنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| and an announcement from Allah (SWT) and His messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage | وَأَذَانٌ مِّنَ اللهِ وَرَسُوْلِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الحَجِّ الأَكْبَرِ | |
| that Allah (SWT) is free from obligations from the polytheists and so is His messenger so if you repent | أَنَّ اللهَ بَرِيءٌ مِّنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ وَرَسُوْلُهُ فَإِنْ تُبْتُمْ | |
| then it is good for you but if you turn away then know that you are without escape from Allah (SWT) | فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى اللهِ | |
| 9-3 | and give news to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment | وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيْمٍ |
| except those whom you have a covenant from the polytheists and not they have failed you in anything | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ عَاهَدتُّم مِّنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْقُصُوْكُمْ شَيْئًا | |
| and did not support against you anyone then fulfil to them their treaty until their term | وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّوا إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِمْ | |
| 9-4 | surely, Allah (SWT) loves the ones who are God conscious | إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ المُتَّقِيْنَ |
| so, when the sacred months have passed then kill the polytheists wherever you find them | فَإِذَا انْسَلَخَ الأَشْهُرُ الحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا المُشْرِكِيْنَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوْهُمْ | |
| and seize them and besiege them and sit (in wait) for them at every place of ambush | وَخُذُوْهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوْهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ | |
| and if they repent and establish the prayer and pay the obligatory tax then leave their way | فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيْلَهُمْ | |
| 9-5 | surely Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| and if any from the polytheists seek your protection then grant him protection until he hears the words of Allah (SWT) | وَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِّنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ اسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ كَلَامَ اللهِ | |
| 9-6 | then escort him to his place of safety that is because they are a people who do not know | ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| How can there be for the polytheists a covenant with Allah (SWT) and with His messenger | كَيْفَ يَكُوْنُ لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ عَهْدٌ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَعِنْدَ رَسُوْلِهِ | |
| except those who you made a covenant near the sacred mosque? | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ عَاهَدتُّمْ عِنْدَ المَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ | |
| 9-7 | so, as long as they are upright to you then you be upright to them, surely Allah loves the ones who are Mindful | فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِيْمُوا لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ المُتَّقِيْنَ |
| not was for the polytheists that they maintain the houses (mosques) of Allah (SWT) witnessing against | مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ أَنْ يَعْمُرُوا مَسَاجِدَ اللهِ شَاهِدِيْنَ عَلَى | |
| 9-17 | themselves with disbelief, those, their deeds are worthless, and, in the fire, they will abide forever | أَنْفُسِهِمْ بِالكُفْرِ أُوْلَآئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ وَفِي النَّارِ هُمْ خَالِدُوْنَ |
| Indeed, the number of months with Allah (SWT) is twelve months in the book of Allah (SWT) | إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُوْرِ عِنْدَ اللهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ | |
| on the day He created the heavens and the earth, from it four are sacred | يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ مِنْهَآ أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ | |
| that is the upright religion so do not wrong yourselves therein | ذَلِكَ الدِّيْنُ القَيِّمُ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيْهِنَّ أَنْفُسَكُمْ | |
| and fight the polytheists altogether as they fight you altogether | وَقَاتِلُوا المُشْرِكِيْنَ كَآفَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْ كَآفَّةً | |
| 9-36 | and know that Allah (SWT) is with the God-conscious (mindful) | وَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ مَعَ المُتَّقِيْنَ |
| Not is for the prophet and those who believe to seek forgiveness for the polytheists even though | مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُوا لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ وَلَوْ | |
| 9-113 | they be near of kin from after what has become clear to them that they are the companions of the hellfire | كَانُوا أُوْلِي قُرْبَى مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الجَهِيْمِ |
| 10-105 | and that “Direct your face to the religion, upright and do not be of the polytheists | وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّيْنِ حَنِيْفًا وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |

| 98-1 | and the polytheists to be abandoned until the clear evidence comes to them | وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ مُنْفَكِّيْنَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
| Truly those who disbelieve from the people of the book and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ | |
| 98-6 | abiding therein forever, those are the worst of creatures | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَآ أُوْلَآئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ البَرِيَّةِ |
