الإِنْسَانِ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – الإِنْسَانِ is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive

الإِنْسَانُ is the natural state of this definite noun and it becomes الإِنْسَانِ due to: 1) a preposition that precedes it or 2) a possessed noun that precedes it or 3) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym

Verse
he said, “O my son! do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they plot a plan against youقَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَقصُص رُؤْيَاكَ عَلَى إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُوا لَكَ كَيدًا
12-5indeed, Satan is to man, an open enemyإِنَّ الشَّيطَانَ لِلإِنسَانِ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
and say to my servants to say what is best (excellent)وَقُل لِّعِبَادِي يَقُوْلُواْ الَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ
truly Satan sows discord among themإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْزَغُ بَيْنَهُم
17-53indeed Satan is to man an open enemyإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ عَدُوًّا مُّبِيْنًا
and when We bestow favor on man, he turns away and becomes remote (distant)وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَئَا بِجَانِبِهِ
17-83however when evil touches him he is in despairوَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ كَانَ يَئُوسًا
indeed he led me away from the rememberance (reminder) after it came to meلَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِي عَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِي
25-29as Satan is to man a traitor (deserter – forsaker)وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِلْإِنْسَانِ خَذُوْلًا
Who made excellent everything He createdالَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ
32-7and He began the creation of man from clayوَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الإِنْسَانِ مِن طِيْنٍ
and when We bestow favor on man, he turns away and becomes remote (distant)وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَئَ بِجَانِبِهِ
41-51however when evil touches him, he resorts to prolonged prayerوَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيْضٍ
53-24or should man have whatever he desires (fancies)أَمْ لِلْإِنْسَانِ مَا تَمَنَّى
53-39rather there is not for man except what he worked for (made effort – strove – earned)وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَى
like the example of Satan when he says to man “disbelieve”كَمَثَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِذْ قَالَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ اكْفُرْ
so when he disbelieves, he says “truly I am disassociated (free) from youفَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنْكَ
59-16indeed I fear Allah SWT, the Lord of the worldsإِنِّي أَخَافُ اللهَ رَبَّ العَالَمِيْنَ
Has there come upon man a period of timeهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ حِيْنٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ
76-1that he was not a thing mentioned?لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْعًا مَّذْكُوْرًا

1Made of clay and will return to the earth upon deathComes from Allah SWT and will return to Allah SWT
2Motivated by instinctsMotivated by intellect, reason and logic
3It’s goal is comfort in this lifeIt’s goal is comfort in the hereafter

Allah SWT rightfully deserves and wants us to follow the sunnat, the example of Prophet SAW and believe in Him only, worship Him only, remember Him much, trust and rely on Him completely, expect and seek from Him only (dua) and be grateful to Him for all that He has blessed us with, to be mindful of who He is (His attributes) and who we are (our reality), to turn to Him in repentance and seek His forgiveness, to turn to patience and prayer in times of difficulty, be hopeful of His Mercy and fear His displeasure.
