كَيْفَ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – كَيْفَ is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative, genitive or fixed

كَيْفَ is an interrogative particle employed to enquire quality of a thing or its condition or to question about the manner in which an action has taken or may take place

It is also used as an exclamatory particle implying negative sense

Verse
How can you disbelieve in Allah (SWT)? seeing that you were dead, and He brought you to lifeكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَكُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ
2-28then He will cause you to die, then again, He will bring you to life, then unto Him you will returnثُمَّ يُمِيْتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ
or like the one who passed by a township, and it overturned on its roofsأَوْ كَالَّذِي مَرَّ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوْشِهَا
he said, “how will Allah (SWT) give life to this after its death?” so, Allah (SWT) caused him to die for a hundred yearsقَالَ أَنَّى يُحْيِى هَذِهِ اللهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا فَأَمَاتَهُ اللهُ مِاْئَةَ عَامٍ
then He raised him, He said, “How long you remained?” he said, ” I remained (dead) for a day or part of a day”ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ
he said, “Nay! you remained for a hundred years then look at your food and your drink, not a change through timeقَالَ بَل لَّبِثْتَ مِاْئَةَ عَامٍ فَانْظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ
and look at your donkey and let Us (We) make you a sign for the peopleوَانْظُرْ إِلَى حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ ءَايَةً لِلنَّاسِ
and look to the bones how We raise them then We clothe them with flesh”وَانْظُرْ إِلَى العِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنْشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوْهَا لَحْمًا
2-259then it became clear to him, and he said, “I know that Allah (SWT) is All-Powerful over everything”فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
and when Ebrahim (AS) said, “My Lord! show me how you give life to the dead”وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيْمُ رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيْفَ تُحْيِ المَوْتَى
He said, “Did not you believe?” he said, “Yes (off course) but to satisfy my heart”قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تَؤْمِنْ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَاكِن لِّيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِى
He said, “then take four of the birds and incline them towards youقَالَ فَخُذْ أَرْبَعَةً مِّنَ الطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ إِلَيْكَ
then make on each hill a portion of themثُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَلَى كُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِّنْهُنَّ جُزْءًا
2-260then call them, they will come to you in haste and know that Allah (SWT) is All-Mighty, All-Wiseثُمَّ ادْعُهُنَّ يَأْتِيْنَكَ سَعْيًا وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللهَ عَزِيْزٌ حَكِيْمٌ
He is who fashions you in the wombs how He wishesهُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ
3-6there is no God except He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wiseلَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ
then how when We will gather them on a day wherein there is no doubtفَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيْهِ
3-25and every soul will be paid in full for what it earned, and they will not be wrongedوَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ
How can Allah (SWT) guide a people who disbelieved after their belief?كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ
and they witnessed that the messenger is true and clear proofs came to them?وَشَهِدُوا أَنَّ الرَّسُوْلَ حَقٌّ وَجَآءَهُمُ البَيِّنَاتُ
3-86and Allah (SWT) does not guide the wrongdoing peopleوَاللهُ لَا يَهْدِي القَوْمَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ
and how you disbelieve while you, upon you is recited the verses of Allah (SWT) and among you is, His messengerوَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَاتُ اللهِ وَفِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلُهُ
3-101and whoever holds firmly to Allah (SWT) then indeed, he is guided to a straight pathوَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ

74-19so may he be killed (destroyed) seeing as how he plottedفَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ
74-20then again, may he be killed (destroyed) seeing as how he plottedثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ
88-17Do they not look at the camels, how they are created?أَفَلَا يَنْظُرُوْنَ إِلَى الإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
88-18and at the heaven, how it is raised?وَإِلَى السَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
88-19and at the mountains, how they are rooted?وَإِلَى الجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
88-20and the earth, how it is spread?وَإِلَى الأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
89-6Did you not see how your lord dealt with (the people of) Adأَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
105-1Did you not see how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيْلِ
