Surah/	Below are the 624 verses in the holy Quran containing the preposition	عَلَى
Verse

2-5	They are on guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful ones	أُوْلَائِكَ عَلَى هُدًى مَّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ
	Allah (SWT) has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering	خَتَمَ اللهُ عَلَى قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهَمْ غِشَاوَةٌ
2-7	and for them is a great punishment	وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ
	The lightning almost snatches away their sight, whenever it flashes for them, they walk therein	يَكَادُ البَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُمْ مَشَوْا فِيْهِ
	but when darkness covers them, they stand still, if Allah (SWT) willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight	وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ
2-20	certainly Allah (SWT) has power over all things	إِنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
	and if you are in doubt concerning what We have sent down to Our slave, then produce a surah like it	وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّنْ مِثْلِهِ
2-23	and call your supporters other than Allah (SWT), if you are truthful	وَادْعُوْا شُهَدَاءَكُمْ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ
	And He (SWT) taught Adam (AS) all the names, then He (SWT) showed them to the angels and said	وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى المَلَآئِكَةِ فَقَالَ
2-31	“Tell me the names of these if you are truthful”	أَنْبِئُوْنِي بِأَسْمَآءِ هَآؤُلَآءِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ

73-10	and be patient with what they say and avoid them with a gracious avoidance	وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيْلًا
74-10	on the disbelievers, without ease	عَلَى الكَافِرِيْنَ غَيْرُ يَسِيْرٍ
75-4	of course, We have the power to restore his fingertips	بَلَى قَادِرِيٍْنَ عَلَى أَنْ نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
75-14	nay man will be a witness against himself	بَلِ الإِنْسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيْرَةٌ
75-40	Does He who can do that, not have the power to give life to the dead?	أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ المَوْتَى
	Has there come upon man a period of time	هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ حِيْنٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ
76-1	that he was not a thing mentioned?	لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْعًا مَّذْكُوْرًا
76-8	and they feed the food out of love for Him to needy and orphan and captives	وَيُطْعِمُوْنَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِيْنًا وَيَتِيْمًا أَسِيْرًا
	reclining in it on couches	مُتَّكِئِيْنَ فِيْهَا عَلَى الأَرَآئِكِ
76-13	not will they see in it a sun and not cold	لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيْهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيْرًا
81-24	and not is he over the (knowledge of the) unseen, a withholder	وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الغَيْبِ بِضَنِيْنٍ
83-2	those who, when they take a measure from the people, they take in full	الَّذِيْنَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُوْنَ
83-14	Nay! but what they were earning has covered (stained) over their hearts	كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَى قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
83-23	on thrones looking	عَلَى الأَرَآئِكِ يَنْظُرُوْنَ
83-35	on thrones looking	عَلَى الأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُوْنَ
85-7	and they, over what they were doing to the believers, were witnesses	وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ بِالمُؤْمِنِيْنَ شُهُودٌ
	who belonging to Him is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth	الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ
85-9	and Allah (SWT) is over all things All-Witnessing	وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ شَهِيْدٌ
86-8	Truly He is indeed All-Able to return him	إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
89-18	and urge not one another to the feeding of the needy	وَلَا تَحَاضُّوْنَ عَلَى طَعَامِ المِسْكِيْنِ
96-11	Do you consider that he is on the guidance?	أَرَءَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الهُدَى
100-7	and to that he bears witness	وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيْدٌ
104-7	Which soars up to the hearts	الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
107-3	And does not urge upon feeding of the poor	وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِ
