89-2 | and the 10 nights (first 10 days of Dhul-Hijja) | وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ |
89-3 | and by the even and the odd | وَالشَّفْعِ وَالوَتْرِ |
89-4 | and by the night when it departs | وَالَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ |
89-9 | and Thamud who hewed out rocks in the valley | وَثَمُوْدَ الَّذِيْنَ جَابُوْا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ |
89-10 | and Firaun (Pharaoh) possessor of the stakes | وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِي الأَوْتَادِ |
As for man, when his Lord tries him by honoring him and favoring him | فَأَمَّا الإِنْسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ | |
89-15 | then he says “my Lord has honored me” | فَيَقُوْلُ رَبِّى أَكْرَمَنِ |
but when He tries him by straitening his provision | وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ | |
89-16 | then he says “my Lord has humiliated me” | فَيَقُوْلُ رَبِّى أَهَانَنِ |
89-18 | and urge not one another to the feeding of the needy | وَلَا تَحَاضُّوْنَ عَلَى طَعَامِ المِسْكِيْنِ |
89-19 | and you devour the inheritance with greed | وَتَأْكُلُوْنَ التُّرَاثَ أَكْلًا لَّمًّا |
89-20 | and you love wealth with an immense love | وَتُحِبُّوْنَ المَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّا |
89-22 | and your Lord comes with the angels in rows | وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا |
and that day Hell will be brought near | وَجِاْئَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ | |
89-23 | on that day man will remember, but how will that remembrance avail him | يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإِنْسَانُ وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى |
89-26 | and none will bind as He will bind | وَلَا يُوْثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ |
89-30 | and Enter My Paradise | وَادْخُلِى جَنَّتِى |
90-2 | and you are free in this city | وَأَنْتَ حِلٌّ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ |
90-3 | and by the begetter (Adam as) and that which he begot | وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ |
90-9 | and a tongue and a pair of lips? | وَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ |
90-10 | and shown him the two ways? | وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ |
90-12 | and what will make you know the path that is steep? | وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا العَقَبَةُ |
then he became of those who believed | ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا | |
90-17 | and recommended to patience and recommended to mercy | وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالمَرْحَمَةِ |
90-19 | but those who disbelieved in our signs they are the companions of the left hand | وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِئَايَاتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ المَشْئَمَةِ |
91-1 | By the sun and its brightness | وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا |
91-2 | and the moon when it follows it (the sun) | وَالقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَاهَا |
91-3 | and the day when it reveals it (the sun) | وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّاهَا |
91-4 | and the night as it covers it | وَالَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا |
91-5 | and the heavens and Who built it | وَالسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا |
91-6 | and the earth and Who spread it | وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا |
91-7 | and the soul and Who proportioned it | وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا |
91-8 | then He inspired it about its wickedness and its righteousness | فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُوْرَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا |
91-10 | and indeed, he fails who corrupts it | وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا |
the messenger of Allah (SWT) Salih (as) said to them | فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ | |
91-13 | “that is the she-camel of Allah (SWT) and her drink” | نَاقَةَ اللهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا |
91-15 | and He fears not the consequences thereof | وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا |
92-2 | and the day when it is revealed | وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى |
92-3 | and He who created the male and the female | وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى |
92-5 | so as for who gives and he fears | فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى |
92-6 | and believes in the best | وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى |
92-8 | and as for who withholds and considers himself sufficient | وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى |
92-9 | and denies the best | وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَى |
92-11 | and his wealth will not avail him when he falls | وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى |
92-13 | and indeed, belonging to Us is the hereafter and the first | وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُوْلَى |
92-16 | the one who denied and turned away | الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى |
92-17 | and the righteous will be far removed from it | وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الأَتْقَى |
92-19 | and look not to anyone with blessings amongst him for reward | وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى |
92-21 | and very soon he will be extremely pleased | وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى |
93-2 | and the night when it darkens | وَالَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى |
93-3 | Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor hates you | مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَ مَا قَلَى |
93-4 | and verily the hereafter is better for you than the present | وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُوْلَى |
93-5 | and very soon your Lord will give you till you are well pleased | وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيْكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى |
93-7 | and He found you unaware and guided you | وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًا فَهَدَى |
93-8 | and He found you poor and made you rich | وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَى |
93-10 | and as for the one who asks, do not repel | وَأَمَّا السَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ |
93-11 | and as for the favor of your Lord, proclaim | وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ |
94-2 | and removed from you your burden | وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ |
94-4 | and have We not raised for you, your remembrance? | وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ |
94-8 | and to your Lord turn | وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ |
95-1 | By the fig and the olive | وَالتِّيْنِ وَالزَّيْتُوْنِ |
95-2 | and the Mount of Sinai | وَطُوْرِ سِيْنِيْنَ |
95-3 | and this secure city | وَهَذَا الْبَلَدِ الأَمِيْنِ |
Except those who believe and do righteous deeds | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ | |
95-6 | for them is a reward without end | فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ |
96-3 | Read and your Lord is the Most Generous | اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الأَكْرَمُ |
96-13 | Do you consider that he denies and turns away? | أَرَءَيْتَ إِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى |
96-19 | Nay! do not obey him rather fall prostrate and draw near to Allah SWT | كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ |
97-2 | and what will make you know what the night of Qadr is? | وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ القَدْرِ |
97-4 | The Angels and Jibreel (AS) descend therein by the permission of their Lord from every command | تَنَزَّلُ المَلَآئِكَةُ وَالرُّوْحُ فِيْهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ |
Not were those who disbelieved from the people of the book | لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ | |
98-1 | and the polytheists to be abandoned, until the clear evidence comes to them | وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ مُنْفَكِّيْنَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
98-4 | and those who were given the book differed not, until after clear evidence came to them | وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوْا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَائَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
and not were they commanded except to worship Allah (SWT) being sincere to Him, the upright religion | وَمَآ أُمِرُوْا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْا اللهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ حُنَفَآءَ | |
98-5 | and to establish the prayer, and to give the obligatory tax, and that is the correct religion | وَيُقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِيْنُ القَيِّمَةِ |
Truly those who disbelieve from the people of the book and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ | |
98-6 | abiding therein forever, those are the worst of creatures | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَآ أُوْلَآئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ البَرِيَّةِ |
98-7 | Truly those who believe and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُلَآئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ |
Their reward is with their Lord, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow | جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ | |
they will abide therein forever, Allah (SWT) pleased with them and they with Him | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ أَبَدًا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ | |
98-8 | that is for who feared his Lord | ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
99-2 | and the earth throws out its burdens | وَأَخْرَجَتِ الأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا |
99-3 | and man will say “What is the matter with her? | وَقَالَ الإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا |
99-8 | and who does the weight of an atom of evil will see it | وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ |
100-7 | and to that he bears witness | وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيْدٌ |
100-8 | and undoubtedly, he is excessive in his love of wealth | وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيْدٌ |
100-10 | and that which is in the breasts is made known | وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الْصُّدُوْرِ |
101-3 | and what will make you know what is the one who strikes? | وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ |
101-5 | and the mountains will be like teased wool | وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوْشِ |
101-8 | but as for him whose scales are light | وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِيْنُهُ |
101-10 | and what will make you know what it is? | وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ |
Except those who believe and do righteous deeds | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ | |
103-3 | and who enjoin one another to the truth and to patience | وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ |
104-2 | who gathered wealth and incessantly counted it | الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَّعَدَّدَهُ |
104-5 | and what will inform you what the crusher is? | وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ |
105-3 | When He sent down on them birds in flocks | وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِم طَيْرًا أَبَابِيْلَ |
106-2 | Their familiarity with the journey of winter and summer | إِيْلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَآءِ وَالْصَّيْفِ |
106-4 | Who fed them against hunger and secured them against fear | الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوْعٍ وَّآمَنَهُم مِّن خَوْفٍ |
107-3 | and does not urge feeding the poor | وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِ |
107-7 | but refuse even common courtesy | وَيَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ |
108-2 | So, pray to your Nurturer and sacrifice | فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَر |
109-3 | and neither do you worship what I worship | وَلَآ أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُوْنَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ |
109-4 | and I will not worship what you worshipped | وَلَآ أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدْتُمْ |
109-5 | and neither will you worship what I worship | وَلَآ أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُوْنَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ |
109-6 | For you your religion and for me my religion | لَكُمْ دِيْنُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِيْنِ |
110-1 | When the help of Allah (SWT) and the victory comes | إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَالْفَتْحُ |
110-2 | and you see the people entering the religion of Allah (SWT) in crowds | وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُوْنَ فِيْ دِيْنِ اللهِ أَفْوَاجًا |
110-3 | Then glorify the praises of your Nurturer and seek His forgiveness, truly He is oft returning | فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا |
111-1 | Perished, the two hands of Abu Lahab and perish he | تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّ |
111-2 | His wealth will not benefit him nor whatever he has earned | مَآ أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَ مَا كَسَبَ |
111-4 | and his wife, the carrier of wood | وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ |
112-4 | and not is there to Him anyone equivalent | وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ |
113-3 | and from the evil of a darkener as he darkens | وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ |
113-4 | and from the evil of the evil whisperers who bind | وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ |
113-5 | and from the evil of the envier when he envies | وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ |
114-6 | From the jinn and mankind | مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ |
