رَضُوا
A word in the Arabic language will either be: 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – رَضُوا is a verb
A verb will either be: 1) past tense or 2) present or future tense or 3) a command or request verb, also called an imperative – رَضُوا is a past tense verb
They preferred, are pleased, are content

| Verse | ||
| Allah (SWT) will say, “This is the day the truthful will profit from their truthfulness | قَالَ اللهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنْفَعُ الصَّادِقِيْنَ صِدْقُهُمْ | |
| for them are gardens under which rivers flow, they shall abide therein forever | لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا | |
| 5-119 | Allah (SWT) is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him, that is the great success” | رَّضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الفَوْزُ العَظِيْمُ |
| and among them who criticizes you concerning the charities so, if they are given from it, they are happy | وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُوا مِنْهَا رَضُوا | |
| 9-58 | and if they are not given from it then they are enraged | وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطُوا مِنْهَآ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُوْنَ |
| and if they were pleased with what Allah (SWT) and His messenger gave them and said, “Sufficient for us is Allah (SWT) | وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوا مَآ ءَاتَاهُمُ اللهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللهُ | |
| 9-59 | Allah (SWT) will give us from His bounty and His messenger surely, to Allah (SWT) we turn our hopes” | سَيُؤْتِيْنَا اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُوْلُهُ إِنَّآ إِلَى اللهِ رَاغِبُوْنَ |
| they were pleased to be with the ones who stay behind, and it was sealed on their hearts | رَضُوا بِأَن يَكُوْنُوا مَعَ الخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوْبِهِمْ | |
| 9-87 | so, they do not understand | فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُوْنَ |
| only the way (blame) is on those who seek your permission while they are rich, they are pleased to | إِنَّمَا السَّبِيْلُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ يَسْتَئْذِنُوْنَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَآءُ رَضُوا بِأَن | |
| 9-93 | be with the ones who stay behind, and Allah (SWT) sealed up their hearts so, they do not know | يَكُوْنُوا مَعَ الخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ اللهُ عَلَى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| The first forerunners from the emigrants and the helpers and those who followed them in righteousness | وَالسَّابِقُوْنَ الأَوَّلُوْنَ مِنَ المُهَاجِرِيْنَ وَالأَنْصَارِ وَالَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ | |
| Allah (SWT) is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him and He has prepared for them gardens | رَّضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ | |
| 9-100 | flowing underneath it, rivers, abiding therein forever, that is the great success | تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ أَبَدًا ذَلِكَ الفَوْزُ العَظِيْمُ |
| Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are pleased with the worldly life | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَآءَنَا وَرَضُوا بِالحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا | |
| 10-7 | and feel satisfied with it and those who, they are heedless of Our signs | وَاطْمَأَنُّوا بِهَا وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ ءَايَاتِنَا غَافِلُوْنَ |
| 58-22 | ||
| Their reward is with their Lord, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever | جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا أَبَدًا | |
| 98-8 | Allah SWT pleased with them and they pleased with Him, that is for who feared his Lord | رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
