Surah/MeaningAayat
VerseThe root ر أ ى occurs in the holy Quran approximately 328 times
And when you said: “O Moses, we shall not believe you until we see Allah (SWT) plainly”وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوْسَى لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى نَرَى اللهَ جَهْرَةً
2-55but you were seized with a thunder bolt while you were lookingفَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ
Surely, We saw you turn your (SAW) face towards the heavens surely, We shall turn you to a Qiblaقَدْ نَرَى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَآءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً
that will please you so, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque so, wherever you areتَرْضَاهَا فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ المَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنْتُمْ
turn your faces towards it and truly those who were given the book certainly knowفَوَلُّوا وُجُوْهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ وَإِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوْا الكِتَابَ لَيَعْلَمُوْنَ
2-144that this is the truth from their Lord and Allah (SWT) is not unaware of what they doأَنَّهُ الحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَمَا اللهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
And of mankind are some who take from other than Allah (SWT) as equals loving them as they loveوَمِنَ النَاسِ مَن يَّتَخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ أَنْدَادًا يُحِبُّوْنَهُمْ كَحُبِّ
Allah (SWT) but those that believe are stronger in their love for Allah (SWT)اللهِ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلَّهِ
And had those who wronged seen when they see the punishmentوَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا إِذْ يَرَوْنَ العَذَابَ
2-165that all the power belongs to Allah (SWT) and that surely Allah (SWT) is severe in punishmentأَنَّ القُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيْعًا وَأَنَّ اللهَ شَدِيْدُ العَذَابِ
When those who were followed disown those who followed, and they see the punishmentإِذْ تَبَرَّأَ الَّذِيْنَ اتُّبِعُوْا مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْا وَرَأَوُا العَذَابَ
2-166and the relations will be cut off from themوَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ الأَسْبَابُ
Did not you see to those, who come forth from their homes, while in thousands in fear of death?أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَهُمْ أُلُوْفٌ حَذَرَ المَوْتِ
then Allah (SWT) said to them, “Die” then He gave them life indeed, Allah (SWT) certainly possessesفَقَالَ لَهُمُ اللهُ مُوْتُوا ثُمَّ أَحْيَاهُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ لَذُوْ
2-243bounty for mankind but most of the people are not gratefulفَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَاكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ

76-13reclining in it on couches not will they see in it a sun and not coldمُتَّكِئِيْنَ فِيْهَا عَلَى الأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيْهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيْرًا
circulating among them boys, immortal when you see them you would think them scatteredوَيَطُوْفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُوْنَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا
76-19pearlsمَّنْثُوْرًا 
76-20and when you look then you will see a blessing (delight) and a great kingdomوَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيْمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيْرًا
79-20then he showed him the great signفَأَرَاهُ الأَيَةَ الكُبْرَى
79-36and the hellfire will be manifest for who seesوَبُرِّزَتِ الجَحِيْمُ لِمَنْ يَرَى
79-46On the day they see it, it will feel as if not they remained except an evening or a morningكَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوآ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا 
81-23and certainly, he saw him in the clear horizonوَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِالأُفُقِ المُبِيْنِ
83-32and when they saw them, they said, “Verily these have indeed gone astray”وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوْا إِنَّ هَآؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّوْنَ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ89-6Did not you see how your lord dealt with Ad (people)أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ90-7Does he think that none sees him?أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ
فِعْلُ الْمَاضِي96-7as he considers himself self-sufficientأَنْ رَّءَاهُ اسْتَغْنَى
فِعْلُ الْمَاضِي96-9Have you seen him who prevents?أَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَى
فِعْلُ الْمَاضِي96-11Do you consider that he is on the guidance?أَرَءَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الهُدَى
فِعْلُ الْمَاضِي96-13Do you consider that he denies and turns away?أَرَءَيْتَ إِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ96-14Does he not know that Allah seesأَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ اللهَ يَرَى
F4 لِلمَجْهُوْلِ99-6That day mankind will come out in groups to be shown their deedsيَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ99-7So, who does an atoms weight of good will see itفَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ99-8and who does an atoms weight of evil will see itوَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ102-6You will certainly see the hellfireلَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيْمِ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ102-7Then you will certainly see it with the sight of certaintyثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِيْنِ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ105-1Did not you see how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?أَلَمْ تَرَكَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيْلِ
فِعْلُ الْمَاضِي107-1Have you seen who denies the judgement?أَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكِذِّبُ بِالدِّيْنِ
فِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ107-6who only want to be seenالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَاءُوْنَ
فِعْلُ الْمَاضِي110-2And you see the people entering the religion of Allah in crowdsوَ رَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُوْنَ فِيْ دِيْنِ اللهِ أَفْوَاجًا
