Verse
And when We said “Enter this town and eat from it from wherever you like in delightوَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُوْا هَذِهِ القَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوْا مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًا
and enter the gate in humility (prostration) and say “Forgive us”وَادْخُلُوْا البَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُوْلُوْا حِطَّةٌ
2-58We shall forgive you your sins and We will increase you in goodnessنَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَسَنَزِيْدُ المُحْسِنِيْنَ
He has only forbidden you the dead and blood and the meat of swine and what has been dedicatedإِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ المَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الخِنْزِيْرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ بِهِ
to other than Allah (SWT) however, who is forced, neither desiring nor transgressingلِغَيْرِ اللهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ
2-173then there is no sin on him, surely Allah (SWT) is Most Forgiving, Eternally Mercifulفَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ 
Those are they who purchased misguidance at the cost of guidanceأُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلَالَةَ بِالهُدَى 
2-175and punishment with forgiveness, how persistent are they in pursuit of the fireوَالعَذَابَ بِالمَغْفِرَةِ فَمَآ أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى النَارِ
But he who fears from a testator some unjust act or wrongdoing then reconciles between themفَمَنْ خَافَ مِنْ مُّوْصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ
2-182then there shall be no sin on him, certainly Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most Mercifulفَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلِيْهِ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَحِيْمٌ
2-192but if they cease then indeed Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, All-Mercifulفَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
Then depart from where the people depart and seek forgiveness of Allah (SWT)ثُمَّ أَفِيْضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللهَ
2-199Truly Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, Most Mercifulإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
Indeed, those who believe and those who emigrated and strove in the way of Allah (SWT)إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَالَّذِيْنَ هَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ
2-218those, they hope for the mercy of Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Mercifulأُوْلَآئِكَ يَرْجُوْنَ رَحْمَتَ اللهِ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
and do not marry polytheist women until they believe, and a believing slave girl is better thanوَلَا تَنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَّ وَلَأَمَةٌ مَّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن
a polytheist woman even if she impresses you and do not give in marriage to polytheist men untilمُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ وَلَا تُنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكِيْنَ حَتَّى
they believe, and a believing slave is better than a polytheist man even if he impresses you those,يُؤْمِنُوا وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ أُوْلَآئِكَ
they invite to the fire and Allah (SWT) invites to Paradise and forgiveness by His permissionيَدْعُوْنَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَاللهُ يَدْعُوا إِلَى الجَنَّةِ وَالمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ
2-221and He makes clear his verses for the people so that you may remember (take heed)وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ 
Allah (SWT) will not take you to task for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He will take you to taskلَّا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَاكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ 
2-225for what your hearts have earned, and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearingبِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ 
For those who swear from their wives is a waiting of four monthsلِلَّذِيْنَ يُؤْلُوْنَ مِن نِّسَآءِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ 
2-226then if they return then truly Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Mercifulفَإِنْ فَآءُو فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ 
and no blame on you in what you hint with it of proposal of womanوَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيْمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَآءِ
or you conceal it in yourselves, Allah (SWT) knows that you will mention themأَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّ
but do not promise them secretly except to say a kind wordوَلَاكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوْهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَنْ تَقُوْلُوا قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا
and do not resolve the knot of marriage until the prescription reaches its termوَلَا تَعْزِمُوا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ
and know that Allah (SWT) knows what is within yourselves so, beware of Himوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُ
2-235and know that Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearingوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ
Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury (harm)قَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوْفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًى
2-263and Allah (SWT) is All-Sufficient, All-Forbearingوَاللهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيْمٌ
Satan promises you poverty and commands you to immorality while Allah (SWT) promises youالشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالفَحْشَآءِ وَاللهُ يَعِدُكُم
2-268forgiveness from Him and bounty and Allah (SWT) is All-Encompassing, All-Knowingوَاللهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلًا وَاللهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ
To Allah (SWT) belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earthلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ
and if you reveal what is in yourself or conceal it, Allah (SWT) will call you to account for itوَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوْهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللهُ
and He forgives to whom He wishes, and He punishes whom He wishesفَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِبُ مَن يَشَآءُ
2-284and Allah (SWT) is over everything All-Powerfulوَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
Allah (SWT) does not burden a soul except its capacity for it what it earned and against it whatلَا يُكَلِّفُ اللهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا 
it earned “Our Lord! seize us not if we forget or fall into error (miss the mark)اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ إِن نَّسِيْنَآ أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
our Lord! place not a load (burden) upon us like what You placed it on those fromرَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ
before us our Lord! and place not upon us a burden greater than we have the strength to bear itقَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ
pardon us and forgive us and grant us mercyوَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْلَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ 
2-286You are our Protector so help us over the disbelieving people”أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى القَوْمِ الكَافِرِيْنَ 
those who say, “Our Lord! truly we believed so, forgive for us our sinsالَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا 
3-16and save us from the punishment of the fire”وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ 
The patient and the truthful and the obedient and those who spendالصَّابِرِيْنَ وَالصَّادِقِيْنَ وَالقَانِتِيْنَ وَالمُنْفِقِيْنَ 
and those who seek forgiveness before dawnوَالمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ بِالأَسْحَارِ 
Say, “If you were to love Allah (SWT) then follow me Allah (SWT) will love you and forgive for youقُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللهَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ
3-31your sins” and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Mercifulذُنُوْبَكُمْ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
except those who repented from after that and reformedإِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا
3-89then indeed, Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Mercifulفَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
and belongs to Allah (SWT) what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, He forgives whom He willsوَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَآءُ
3-129and He punishes whom He wills, and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Mercifulوَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
and hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and paradiseوَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ
3-133its width is as the heavens and the earth prepared for the piousعَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ
and those who when they do immorality or wrong themselves, they remember Allah (SWT)وَالَّذِيْنَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللهَ
then they ask forgiveness for their sins and who can forgive the sins except Allah (SWT)?فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوْبِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا اللهُ
3-135and not they persist on what they did while they knowوَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ
Those, their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardensأُوْلَآئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ
3-136flowing from under it, rivers, they will abide therein forever and excellent is the reward of the workersتَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ العَامِلِيْنَ
and not were their words except that they said, “Our Lord forgive for us our sins and our excessesوَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْلَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا
3-147in our affairs and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving peopleفِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى القَوْمِ الكَافِرِيْنَ

Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between themرَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا
38-66the All Mighty, the Most Forgivingالعَزِيْزُ الغَفَّارُ
He created the heavens and the earth in truthخَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالحَقِّ
He wraps the night around the day and He wraps the day around the nightيُكَوِّرُ الَّيْلَ عَلَى النَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارَ عَلَى الَّيْلِ
and He subjects the sun and the moon, all run their course for an appointed timeوَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى
39-5He is certainly the Mighty, the Forgivingأَلَا هُوَ العَزِيْزُ الغَفَّارُ
