| 2-58 | We shall forgive you your sins and We will increase you in goodness | نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَسَنَزِيْدُ المُحْسِنِيْنَ |
| He has only forbidden you the dead and blood and the meat of swine and what has been dedicated | إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ المَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الخِنْزِيْرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ بِهِ | |
| to other than Allah (SWT) however, who is forced, neither desiring nor transgressing | لِغَيْرِ اللهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ | |
| 2-173 | then there is no sin on him, surely Allah (SWT) is Most Forgiving, Eternally Merciful | فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| Those are they who purchased misguidance at the cost of guidance | أُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلَالَةَ بِالهُدَى | |
| 2-175 | and punishment with forgiveness, how persistent are they in pursuit of the fire | وَالعَذَابَ بِالمَغْفِرَةِ فَمَآ أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى النَارِ |
| But he who fears from a testator some unjust act or wrongdoing then reconciles between them | فَمَنْ خَافَ مِنْ مُّوْصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ | |
| 2-182 | then there shall be no sin on him, certainly Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful | فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلِيْهِ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَحِيْمٌ |
| 2-192 | but if they cease then indeed Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful | فَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| Then depart from where the people depart and seek forgiveness of Allah (SWT) | ثُمَّ أَفِيْضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللهَ | |
| 2-199 | Truly Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful | إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| Indeed, those who believe and those who emigrated and strove in the way of Allah (SWT) | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَالَّذِيْنَ هَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ | |
| 2-218 | those, they hope for the mercy of Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | أُوْلَآئِكَ يَرْجُوْنَ رَحْمَتَ اللهِ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| and do not marry polytheist women until they believe, and a believing slave girl is better than | وَلَا تَنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَّ وَلَأَمَةٌ مَّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن | |
| a polytheist woman even if she impresses you and do not give in marriage to polytheist men until | مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ وَلَا تُنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكِيْنَ حَتَّى | |
| they believe, and a believing slave is better than a polytheist man even if he impresses you those, | يُؤْمِنُوا وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ أُوْلَآئِكَ | |
| they invite to the fire and Allah (SWT) invites to Paradise and forgiveness by His permission | يَدْعُوْنَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَاللهُ يَدْعُوا إِلَى الجَنَّةِ وَالمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ | |
| 2-221 | and He makes clear his verses for the people so that you may remember (take heed) | وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ |
| Allah (SWT) will not take you to task for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He will take you to task | لَّا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَاكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ | |
| 2-225 | for what your hearts have earned, and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing | بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ |
| For those who swear from their wives is a waiting of four months | لِلَّذِيْنَ يُؤْلُوْنَ مِن نِّسَآءِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ | |
| 2-226 | then if they return then truly Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | فَإِنْ فَآءُو فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| and no blame on you in what you hint with it of proposal of woman | وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيْمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَآءِ | |
| or you conceal it in yourselves, Allah (SWT) knows that you will mention them | أَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّ | |
| but do not promise them secretly except to say a kind word | وَلَاكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوْهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَنْ تَقُوْلُوا قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا | |
| and do not resolve the knot of marriage until the prescription reaches its term | وَلَا تَعْزِمُوا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ | |
| and know that Allah (SWT) knows what is within yourselves so, beware of Him | وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُ | |
| 2-235 | and know that Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing | وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ |
| Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury (harm) | قَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوْفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًى | |
| 2-263 | and Allah (SWT) is All-Sufficient, All-Forbearing | وَاللهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيْمٌ |
| Satan promises you poverty and commands you to immorality while Allah (SWT) promises you | الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالفَحْشَآءِ وَاللهُ يَعِدُكُم | |
| 2-268 | forgiveness from Him and bounty and Allah (SWT) is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing | وَاللهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلًا وَاللهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ |
| To Allah (SWT) belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth | لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| and if you reveal what is in yourself or conceal it, Allah (SWT) will call you to account for it | وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوْهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللهُ | |
| and He forgives to whom He wishes, and He punishes whom He wishes | فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِبُ مَن يَشَآءُ | |
| 2-284 | and Allah (SWT) is over everything All-Powerful | وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| Allah (SWT) does not burden a soul except its capacity for it what it earned and against it what | لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا | |
| it earned “Our Lord! seize us not if we forget or fall into error (miss the mark) | اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ إِن نَّسِيْنَآ أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا | |
| our Lord! place not a load (burden) upon us like what You placed it on those from | رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ | |
| before us our Lord! and place not upon us a burden greater than we have the strength to bear it | قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ | |
| pardon us and forgive us and grant us mercy | وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْلَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ | |
| 2-286 | You are our Protector so help us over the disbelieving people” | أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى القَوْمِ الكَافِرِيْنَ |
| those who say, “Our Lord! truly we believed so, forgive for us our sins | الَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا | |
| 3-16 | and save us from the punishment of the fire” | وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ |
| The patient and the truthful and the obedient and those who spend | الصَّابِرِيْنَ وَالصَّادِقِيْنَ وَالقَانِتِيْنَ وَالمُنْفِقِيْنَ | |
| and those who seek forgiveness before dawn | وَالمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ بِالأَسْحَارِ | |
| Say, “If you were to love Allah (SWT) then follow me Allah (SWT) will love you and forgive for you | قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللهَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ | |
| 3-31 | your sins” and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | ذُنُوْبَكُمْ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| except those who repented from after that and reformed | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا | |
| 3-89 | then indeed, Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| and belongs to Allah (SWT) what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, He forgives whom He wills | وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
| 3-129 | and He punishes whom He wills, and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| and hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and paradise | وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ | |
| 3-133 | its width is as the heavens and the earth prepared for the pious | عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ |
| and those who when they do immorality or wrong themselves, they remember Allah (SWT) | وَالَّذِيْنَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللهَ | |
| then they ask forgiveness for their sins and who can forgive the sins except Allah (SWT)? | فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوْبِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا اللهُ | |
| 3-135 | and not they persist on what they did while they know | وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Those, their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens | أُوْلَآئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ | |
| 3-136 | flowing from under it, rivers, they will abide therein forever and excellent is the reward of the workers | تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ العَامِلِيْنَ |
| and not were their words except that they said, “Our Lord forgive for us our sins and our excesses | وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْلَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا | |
