Verse | ||
And when we delivered you from Pharaoh’s people, who were afflicting you | وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُوْمُوْنَكُمْ سُوْءَ
with a horrible torment, killing your sons and sparing your women and in | الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُوْنَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُوْنَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَفِي
2-49 | that was a mighty trial from your lord |
And when We separated the sea for you and drowned |
2-50 | Pharaoh’s people while you were looking |
like the behavior of the people of Firaun and those from before him | كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ
they denied Our signs so, Allah (SWT) took (seized) them for their sins | كَذَّبُوا بَئَايَاتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللهُ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ
3-11 | and Allah (SWT) is severe in retribution |
Then We sent from after them Moosa (AS) with Our signs |
to Firaun and his chiefs but they wronged them | إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِ فَظَلَمُوا بِهَا
7-103 | so, see how was the end of the corrupters |
7-104 | and Moosa (AS) said, “O Firaun Indeed, I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds” |
7-109 | The chiefs from the people of Firaun said, “Indeed, this is certainly a learned magician” |
so, the magicians came to Firaun | وَجَآءَ السَّحَرَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ
7-113 | they said, “Indeed, for us certainly a reward if we are victorious” |
Firaun said, “You believed in Him before that I give permission to you | قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ءَامَنْتُمْ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ
indeed, this is certainly a plot, you plotted it in the city | إِنَّ هَذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوْهُ فِي المَدِيْنَةِ
7-123 | so, you may drive out from it, its people so, soon you will know” | لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَآ أَهْلَهَا فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
and the chiefs of the people of Firaun said | وَقَالَ المَلَأُ مِنْ قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ
“Will you leave Moosa (AS) and his people to cause corruption in the earth | أَتَذَرُ مُوْسَى وَقَوْمَهُ لِيُفْسِدُوا فِي الأَرْضِ
and forsake you and your gods?” He said, “we will kill their sons | وَيَذَرَكَ وَءَالِهَتَكَ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ
7-127 | and let live their women and indeed we are over them subjugators” |
and certainly, We seized the people of Firaun with years | وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِيْنَ
7-130 | and a deficit of fruit so that they may remember |
and We caused the people who were considered weak (oppressed) to inherit | وَأَوْرَثْنَا القَوْمَ الَّذِيْنَ كَانُوا يُسْتَضْعَفُوْنَ
the eastern (parts) of the land and the western (parts) of it which We blessed in it | مَشَارِقَ الأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيْهَا
and the best word of your Lord was fulfilled on the children of Israel | وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الحُسْنَى عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَآءِيْلَ
because they were patient and We destroyed what | بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا
7-137 | Firaun and his people used to make and what they used to erect |
