| and the mothers shall suckle their children for two years complete | وَالوَالِدَاتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ | |
| for whoever wishes to complete the suckling then upon the father their provision is on him | لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُتِمَّ الرَّضَاعَةَ وَعَلَى المَوْلُوْدِ لَهُ رِزْقُهُنَّ | |
| and their clothing in a fair manner, not is burdened a soul except its capacity | وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا | |
| the mother is not made to suffer because of her child and not the father over it because of his child | لَا تُضَآرَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلَا مَوْلُوْدٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ | |
| and on the heir is like that then if they both desire weaning through mutual consent | وَعَلَى الوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ فَإِنْ أَرَادَ فِصَالًا عَنْ تَرَاضٍ | |
| of both of them and consultation then no blame on both of them and if you want | مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَإِنْ أَرَدْتُّمْ | |
| ask another woman to suckle your child then there is no blame on you when you pay what | أَنْ تَسْتَرْضِعُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ | |
| you give in a fair manner and be mindful of Allah (SWT) and know that Allah (SWT) | ءَاتَيْتُمْ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ | |
| 2-233 | is All-Seeing of what you do | بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ |
| Those who withhold of what Allah (SWT) gave them of His bounty should not think it is good for them | وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ بِمَآ ءَاتَاهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا | |
| nay, it is bad for them, what they withheld, with it their necks will be encircled on the day of resurrection | لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُوْنَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| 3-180 | and for Allah (SWT) is the heritage of the heavens and the earth and Allah (SWT) is All-Aware of what you do | وَلِلَّهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ |
| Allah (SWT) instructs you concerning your children belonging to the male like a portion for two females | يُوْصِيْكُمُ اللهُ فِي أَوْلَادِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنْثَيَيْنِ | |
| but if there are women, more than two then for them two thirds of what he left | فَإِنْ كُنَّ نِسَآءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ | |
| but if there is only one then for her half and for his parents for each one of them | وَإِنْ كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ | |
| a sixth of what he left if, is for him a child | مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ | |
| and if not is for him a child and his parents inherit it then for his mother is a third | فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ | |
| and if are for him siblings then for his mother is a sixth after any will | فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ | |
| he has made with it or any debt | يُوْصِى بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ | |
| your parents and your children, not you know which of them is nearer to you in benefit | ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ لَا تَدْرُوْنَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعًا | |
| 4-11 | an obligation from Allah (SWT) truly Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, All-Wise | فَرِيْضَةً مِّنَ اللهِ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا |
| and for you is half of what your spouse’s left if not is for them a child | وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِنْ لَّمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُنَّ وَلَدٌ | |
| but if is for them a child then for you is a fourth of what they left | فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ | |
| from after any will they made for it or any debt | مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوْصِيْنَ بِهَآ أَوْدَيْنٍ | |
| and for them is a fourth of what you left if not is for you a child | وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَّكُمْ وَلَدٌ | |
| but if is for you a child, then for them, the eight of what you left from after | فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ | |
| from after any will you made for it or any debt | مِّنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوْصُوْنَ بِهَآ أَوْدَيْنٍ | |
| and if is a man whose wealth is to be inherited has no parent or child or women | وَإِنْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُوْرَثُ كَلَالَةً أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ | |
| and for him is a brother or a sister | وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ | |
| then for each one of the two is a sixth but if they are more than that | فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِنْ كَانُوا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ | |
| then they are partners in a third | فَهُمْ شُرَكَآءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ | |
| from after any will was made for it or any debt without harm | مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوْصَى بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَآرٍ | |
| 4-12 | an ordinance from Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, Most-Forbearing | وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللهِ وَاللهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَلِيْمٌ |
| O you who believe! not lawful for you to inherit the women forcefully | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا لَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَرِثُوا النِّسَآءَ كَرْهًا | |
| and not you constrain them to take a part of what you gave them | وَلَا تَعْضُلُوْهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُوا بِبَعْضِ مَآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوْهُنَّ | |
| except that they commit open immorality and live with them with kindness | إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَعَاشِرُوْهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ | |
| but if you dislike them then perhaps that you dislike a thing | فَإِنْ كَرِهْتُمُوْهُنَّ فَعَسَى أَنْ تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا | |
| 4-19 | and Allah (SWT) made in it much good | وَيَجْعَلَ اللهُ فِيْهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيْرًا |
| They ask you, say, “Allah (SWT) explains concerning the ones without heirs | يَسْتَفْتُوْنَكَ قُلِ اللهُ يُفْتِيْكُمْ فِي الكَلَالَةِ | |
| if a man died and not for him a child but for him a sister then for her is half of what he left | إِنِ امْرُؤٌا هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَهُ أُخْتٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ | |
| and he, he inherits it if is for her no child, but if there were two females | وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَآ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدٌ فَإِنْ كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ | |
| then for them both two thirds from what he left | فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ | |
| and if they were siblings, men and women then for the male like a portion of two females | وَإِنْ كَانُوا إِخْوَةً رِّجَالًا وَنِسَآءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنْثَيَيْنِ | |
