النَّاسُ
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – النَّاسُ is a noun
A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive
النَّاسُ is the natural state of this definite noun and it is in this state ( مَرْفُوْعٌ) when the noun is: 1) the subject المُبْتَدَأُ or 2) the predicate الخَبَرُ or 3) اسْمُ كَانَ or 4) خَبَرُ إِنَّ or 5) الفَاعِلُ subject of a verb in the active voice or 6) نَائِبُ الفَاعِلِ subject of a verb in the passive voice or 7) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym

| And when it is said to them “Believe as the people believed” | وَإِذَ قِيْلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُوْا كَمَا ءَامَنَ النَّاسُ | |
| they say, “Shall we believe as the fools believed?” | قَالُوْا أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا ءَامَنَ السُّفَهَآءُ | |
| 2-13 | Truly they are the fools, but they do not know it | أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَآءُ وَلَاكِنْ لَّا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| O People, worship your Nurturer who has created you | يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمْ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ | |
| 2-21 | and those before you so that you may become pious (God fearing) | وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقٌوْنَ |
| But if you do not do it, and you will not be able to do it | فَإِنْ لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوْا وَلَنْ تَفْعَلُوْا | |
| then fear the fire whose fuel is men and stones | فَاتَّقُوْا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُوْدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالحِجَارَةُ | |
| 2-24 | prepared for the disbelievers | أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِيْنَ |
| O mankind eat from what is lawful and wholesome in the earth | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوْا مِمَّا فِيْ الأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا | |
| 2-168 | and follow not the footsteps of Satan Surely, he is to you a clear enemy | وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوْا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيْنٌ |
| Then depart from where the people depart and seek forgiveness of Allah (SWT) | ثُمَّ أَفِيْضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللهَ | |
| 2-199 | Truly Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful | إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| Mankind was one community and Allah (SWT) raised up prophets | كَانَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَحِدَةً فَبَعَثَ اللهُ النَّبِيِّينَ | |
| bearing glad tidings and as warner’s and He sent down with them the Book in truth | مُبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِيْنَ وَأَنْزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الكِتَابَ بِالحَقِّ | |
| to judge between people in matters wherein they differed | لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ | |
| and no one differed in it except those who were given it after clear signs came to them | وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ أُوتُوهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ البَيِّنَاتُ | |
| out of jealousy among themselves and Allah (SWT) guided those who believed | بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ فَهَدَى اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا | |
| from what they differed in it to the truth by His Permission | لِمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ | |
| 2-213 | and Allah (SWT) guides whom He wishes to the straight path | وَاللهُ يَهْدِى مَنْ يشَآءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ |
| those, the people said to them | الَّذِيْنَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ | |
| “Verily the people certainly gathered against you, so fear them” | إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ | |
| but it increased them in faith, and they said | فَزَادَهُمْ إِيْمَانًا وَقَالُوا | |
| 3-173 | “Sufficient for us is Allah (SWT) and best to entrust (put in charge)” | حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الوَكِيْلُ |
| O mankind! be mindful of your Lord who created you from a single soul | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِّنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ | |
| and He created from it, its mate and from them both, He dispersed many men and women | وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيْرًا وَنِسَآءً | |
| and be mindful of Allah (SWT) who you (all) ask from Him and the wombs | وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ الَّذِي تَسَآءَلُوْنَ بِهِ وَالأَرْحَامَ | |
| 4-1 | Indeed Allah (SWT) is over you, Ever Watchful | إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيْبًا |
| If He wishes, He can cause you to go away, O people! and bring others | إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِئَاخَرِيْنَ | |
| 4-133 | and Allah (SWT) is over that All-Powerful | وَكَانَ اللهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَدِيْرًا |
| O people! Indeed, came to you the messenger with the truth from your Lord | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُمُ الرَّسُوْلُ بِالحَقِّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| so, believe! (is) better for you and if you disbelieve then certainly belongs to Allah (SWT) | فَئَامِنُوا خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ وَإِنْ تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ | |
| 4-170 | whatever is in the heavens and the earth and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, All-Wise | مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا |
| O people! Indeed, came to you proof from your Lord | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُم بُرْهَانٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| 4-174 | and We sent down to you a clear light | وَأَنْزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُمْ نُوْرًا مُّبِيْنًا |
| say, “O people! Indeed, I am the messenger of Allah (SWT) to you all | قُلْ يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُوْلُ اللهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيْعًا | |
| who, belongs to Him the dominion (kingdom) of the heavens and the earth | الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ | |
| not a God except He, He gives live, and He causes death | لَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيْتُ | |
| so, believe in Allah (SWT) and His messenger, the unlettered prophet who believes in Allah (SWT) | فَئَامِنُوا بِاللهِ وَرَسُوْلِهِ النَّبِيِّ الأُمِّيِّ الَّذِيْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ | |
| 7-158 | and His words, so, follow him so that you may be guided” | وَكَلِمَاتِهِ وَاتَّبِعُوْهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ |
| and remember when you were few and weak in the earth | وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ أَنْتُمْ قَلِيْلٌ مُّسْتَضْعَفُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| fearing that the people might do away with you then He sheltered you and strengthened you with His help | تَخَافُوْنَ أَنْ يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ النَّاسُ فَئَاوَاكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُمْ بِنَصْرِهِ | |
| 8-26 | and He provided (sustained) you of the good things so that you may be grateful (thankful) | وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ |
| and not was mankind but one community, then they differed and had it not been a word preceded | وَمَا كَانَ النَّاسُ إِلَّآ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَاخْتَلَفُوا وَلَوْ لَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ | |
| 10-19 | from your Lord surely, it would have been judged between them concerning what therein they differ | مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيْمَا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| but when He saved them behold! they rebel in the earth without right | فَلَمَّآ أَنْجَاهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الحَقِّ | |
| O people! only your rebellion is against yourselves, enjoyment of the life of the world | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُم مَّتَاعَ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا | |
| 10-23 | then to Us is your return then We will inform you of what you used to do | ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
