مَالَ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – مَالَ is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive

المَالُ is the natural state of this definite noun and becomes المَالَ due to it being the: 1) المَفْعُوْلُ بِهِ object of a verb or 2) اسْمُ of إِنَّ or 3) خَبَرُ of كَانَ or 4) المَفْعُوْلُ فِيْهِ adverb of time or place or 5) المَفْعُوْلُ لَهُ noun that gives the reason for doing a thing or 6) المَفْعُوْلُ مَعَهُ noun that comes after the و which means “along with” or 7) المَفْعُوْلُ المُطْلَقُ is the مَصْدَرٌ of the verb occurring in the sentence or 8) الحَالُ adverb of manner or 9) التَّمْيِيْزُ noun that specifies the meaning of a vague word or 10) المُسْتَثْنَى noun that comes after إِلَّا meaning “except” or 11) المُنَادَى noun of calling or 12) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym

المَالَ loses it’s definite article, becoming مَالَ due to it being a possessed noun

Verse
O you who believe! do not nullify your charities with reminders and harmيَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالمَنِّ وَالأَذَى
like the one who spends his wealth to be seen by the people and not they believe in Allah (SWT)كَالَّذِي يُنْفِقُ مَالَهُ رِئَآءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ
and the last dayوَاليَوْمِ الآخِرِ
then his example is like the example of a smooth rock with dust upon itفَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْهِ تُرَابٌ
then struck it heavy rain then left it bareفَأَصَابَهُ وَابِلٌ فَتَرَكَهُ صَلْدًا
not they have any control on anything of what they earnedلَا يَقْدِرُوْنَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِّمَّا كَسَبُوا
2-264and Allah (SWT) guides not the disbelieving peopleوَاللهُ لَا يَهْدِي القَوْمَ الكَافِرِيْنَ
and don’t go near the wealth of the orphan except with which it is best until he reaches his maturityوَلَا تَقْرَبُوا مَالَ اليَتِيْمِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ
and fulfil the measure and the weight with justice, not We burden a soul except its capacityوَأَوْفُوا الكَيْلَ وَالمِيْزَانَ بِالقِسْطِ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
and when you speak, then be just even if he is close and the promise of Allah (SWT) fulfillوَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُوا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللهِ أَوْفُوا
6-152that He enjoined on you with it, so that you may remember (be mindful-fear-be aware)ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ
