الدِّيْنَ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – الدِّيْنَ is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive

الدِّيْنُ is the natural, nominative (مَرْفُوْعٌ) state of this definite noun and it changes to its accusative (مَنْصُوْبٌ) state الدِّيْنَ due to it being the: 1) المَفْعُوْلُ بِهِ object of a verb or 2) اسْمُ of إِنَّ or 3) خَبَرُ of كَانَ or 4) المَفْعُوْلُ فِيْهِ adverb of time or place or 5) المَفْعُوْلُ لَهُ noun that gives the reason for doing a thing or 6) المَفْعُوْلُ مَعَهُ noun that comes after the و which means “along with” or 7) المَفْعُوْلُ المُطْلَقُ is the مَصْدَرٌ of the verb occurring in the sentence or 8) الحَالُ adverb of manner or 9) التَّمْيِيْزُ noun that specifies the meaning of a vague word or 10) المُسْتَثْنَى noun that comes after إِلَّا meaning “except” or 11) المُنَادَى noun of calling or 12) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym

Verse
And Ebrahim (AS) enjoined it upon his sons and Yaqub (AS)وَوَصَّى بِهَآ إِبْرَاهِيْمُ بَنِيْهِ وَيَعْقُوْبُ
“O my sons, truly Allah (SWT) has chosen for you the religionيَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّيْنَ
2-132so, die not except that you are in submission”فَلَا تَمُوْتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُوْنَ
Indeed, the religion with Allah (SWT) is submissionإِنَّ الدِّيْنَ عِنْدَ اللهِ الإِسْلَامُ
and not differed those who were given the book except, from after what came to them of knowledgeوَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ العِلْمُ
out of envy among themبَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ
3-19and whoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah SWT then truly Allah SWT is quick to take accountوَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ سَرِيْعُ الحِسَابِ
Say, “My Lord has commanded to justice and establish your faces towards every place of prostrationقُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِالقِسْطِ وَأَقِيْمُوا وُجُوْهَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ
7-29and invoke Him, sincere to Him in the religion, like how He originated you, you will returnوَادْعُوْهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُوْدُوْنَ
He is the One who enables you to travel in the land and the sea until when you are in the shipsهُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي البَرِّ وَالبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِي الفُلْكِ
and they sail with them with a good wind, and they rejoice therein, a stormy wind comes to themوَجَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيْحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيْحٌ عَاصِفٌ
and the waves come to them from every place, and they think they are surrounded by them, they call Allah SWTوَجَآءَهُمُ المَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيْطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُا اللهَ
10-22sincerely to Him in the religion “if You save us from this surely, we will be among the thankful”مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ لَئِنْ أَنْجَيْنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ

And not were they commanded except to worship Allah SWT sincere to it, the upright religionوَمَا أُمِرُوْا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْا اللهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ حُنَفَاءَ
98-5and to establish the prayer and to give the charity and that is the correct religionوَيُقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوْا الزَّكَاتَ وَذَالِكَ دِيْنُ القَيِّمَةِ
