فُعَالٌ الصِّفَةُ المُشَبَّهَةُ
Adjectives which are made like the participles / الصِّفَاتُ المُشَبَّهَةُ
Active and passive particles indicate on an action or occurence whereas the resembling particle indicates on an attribute
Most of these adjectives come from intransitive verbs الأَفْعَالُ الَّازِمَةُ / verbs that express a state or condition or signify an act which is confined to the subject, and express mostly, a quality inherent and permanent in a person or thing and partly a certain degree of intensity
The forms فَعَالٌ and فُعَالٌ are primarily derived from the verb form فَعُلَ
