أَفْلَحَ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – أَفْلَحَ is a verb

A verb will either be 1) past tense or 2) present or future tense or 3) a command or request verb, also called an imperative – أَفْلَحَ is a past tense verb

To be successful, lucky, live on, Successful in this life and in the thereafter

To till (the earth), cleave (a thing)

Verse
So gather your plan then come in ranksفَأَجْمِعُواْ كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ائْتُواْ صَفًّا
20-64and indeed he has succeeded today who overcomesوَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْيَوْمَ مَنِ اسْتَعْلَى
23-1Successful indeed are the believersقَدْ أَفْلَحَ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ
87-14indeed, he succeeded who purifies himselfقَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكَّى
