وَجَدَ
A word in the Arabic language will either be: 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – وَجَدَ is a verb
A verb will either be: 1) past tense or 2) present or future tense or 3) a command or request verb, also called an imperative – وَجَدَ is a past tense verb

| So, her Lord accepted her with an excellent acceptance | فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُوْلٍ حَسَنٍ | |
| and caused her to grow an excellent growing and put her in the care of Zachariya | وَأَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا | |
| whenever Zachariya entered upon her private chamber, he found her with provision (sustenance) | كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا المِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقًا | |
| he said, “O Maryam, from where for you this?” she said “This is from Allah (SWT) | قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَذَا قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ | |
