Surah/ | Below are the 9 verses in the holy Quran containing the jussive, imperfect verb |
Verse | ||
and perform the pilgrimage and minor pilgrimage for Allah (SWT) | وَأَتِمُّوا الحَجَّ وَالعُمْرَةَ لِلَّهِ
but if you are held back then what can be obtained with ease of a sacrificial animal | فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الهَدْيِ
and do not shave your heads until the sacrifice reaches its destination | وَلَا تَحْلِقُوْا رُءُوْسَكُمْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ
and whosoever of you is ill or has an ailment of his head | فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيْضًا أَوْ بِهِ أَذًى مِّنْ رَّاسِهِ
then compensate by fasting or charity or a sacrificial offering | فَفِدْيَةٌ مِّنْ صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ
then when you are safe then whoever performs the minor pilgrimage followed by Hajj | فَإِذَآ أَمِنْتُمْ فَمَنْ تَمَتَّعَ بِالعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الحَجَّ
then what can be obtained with ease of a sacrificial animal | فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الهَدْيِ
and who cannot find then a fast of three days during Hajj | فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةٍ أَيَّامٍ فِى الحَجِّ
and seven days when you returned (home) that is ten (days) in all | وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ تِلْكَ عَشْرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ
This is for him whose family is not present at the Sacred Mosque |
2-196 | and be mindful of Allah (SWT) and know that Allah (SWT) is severe in punishment |
and not is for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake | وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا خَطَئًا
and whoever killed a believer by mistake then freeing a believing slave and blood money must be paid | وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَئًا فَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ وَدِيَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ
to his family unless they remit as charity | إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلَّآ أَن يَصَّدَّقُوا
but if they were from a people hostile to you and he was a believer | فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَّكُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
then freeing a believing slave | فَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ
and if they were from a people between you and between them was a treaty | وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيْثَاقٌ
then blood money payment to his family and freeing of a believing slave | فَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ وَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ
and whoever does not find then fasting of two months consecutively as a repentance from Allah (SWT) | فَمَن لَّم يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةً مِّنَ اللهِ
4-92 | and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, All-Wise |
and whoever emigrates in the path of Allah (SWT) he will find in the earth | وَمَنْ يُهَاجِرْ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ يَجِدْ فِي الأَرْضِ
many refuge places and abundance and whoever goes forth from his home, an emigrant | مُرَاغَمًا كَثِيْرًا وَسَعَةً وَمَن يَخْرُجْ مِن بَيْتِهِ مُهَاجِرًا
towards Allah (SWT) and His messenger then death overtakes him | إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُوْلِهِ ثُمَّ يُدْرِكْهُ المَوْتُ
4-100 | then certainly, his reward falls upon Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful |
not by your wishes and not by the wishes of the people of the book | لَيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَآ أَمَانِيِّ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ
who does evil will be recompensed for it | مَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ
4-123 | and not will he find for him from other than Allah (SWT) a friend nor a helper |
Allah (SWT) will not take you to account for what is unintentional in your oaths |
but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths | وَلَاكِنْ يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ بِمَا عَقَّدْتُمُ الأَيْمَانَ
So, its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people | فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِيْنَ
from the average of what you feed your families | مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُوْنَ أَهْلِيكُمْ
or clothing them or freeing a slave | أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ
however, who does not find then fasting three days | فَمَنْ لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ
that is the expiation of your oaths when you have sworn | ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ
and protect your oaths | وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ
Thus Allah (SWT) makes clear to you His signs |
5-89 | that you may be grateful |
24-39 | ||
58-4 | ||
72-9 | ||
93-6 | Did He not find you an orphan and gave you refuge |
