يَنْظُرُوْنَ
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – يَنْظُرُوْنَ is a verb
A verb will either be: 1) past tense or 2) present or future tense or 3) a command or request verb, also called an imperative – يَنْظُرُوْنَ is a present tense verb

| Are they waiting expecting that Allah (SWT) comes to them | هَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ اللهُ | |
| in the shadows of the clouds along with the Angels? | فِى ظُلَلٍ مِّنَ الغَمَامِ وَالمَلَآئِكَةُ | |
| 2-210 | (If so) Then the matter would be decreed and to Allah (SWT) all matters return | وَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ وَإِلَى اللهِ تُرْجَعُ الأُمُوْرُ |
| Do they see (expect) except that the angels come to them, or their Lord comes | هَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ المَلَآئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ | |
| or part of the signs of your Lord comes? | أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ ءَايَاتِ رَبِّكَ | |
| the day when part of the signs of your Lord comes | يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ ءَايَاتِ رَبِّكَ | |
| its faith will not benefit a soul, not it had believed from before | لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيْمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ ءَامَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ | |
| or earned good through its faith (belief) | أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيْمَانِهَا خَيْرًا | |
| 6-158 | say, “Wait! We too are waiting” | قُلِ انْتَظِرُوا إِنَّا مُنْتَظِرُوْنَ |
| do they look except for its arrival | هَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيْلَهُ | |
| the day its fulfillment comes, those who forgot it from before will say | يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيْلُهُ يَقُوْلُ الَّذِيْنَ نَسُوْهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ | |
| “Verily messengers of our Lord came with the truth | قَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالحَقِّ | |
| so are for us any intercessors that they intercede for us | فَهَل لَّنَا مِنْ شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشْفَعُوا لَنَآ | |
| or we are sent back so we will do (strive-work) other than that we used to do” | أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ | |
| Verily they lost themselves | قَدْ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ | |
| 7-53 | and strayed (abandoned) from them that which they used to invent | وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُوْنَ |
| and if you call them to the guidance, they will not hear you | وَإِنْ تَدْعُوْهُمْ إِلَى الهُدَى لَا يَسْمَعُوا | |
| 7-198 | and you see them looking at you, but they do not see | وَتَرَاهُمْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ إِلِيْكَ وَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ |
| They dispute with you concerning the truth after what was made clear | يُجَادِلُوْنَكَ فِي الحَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ | |
