Verse | ||
and when My slave asks you about me then indeed I am near | وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيْبٌ
I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls me | أُجِيْبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ
2-186 | so let them respond to Me and believe in Me so that they may be led aright |
There is no compulsion in the religion |
surely, the right has become distinct from the wrong | قَدْ تَبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الغَيِّ
then whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah (SWT) | فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوْتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللهِ
then surely, he grasped the most trustworthy handhold, no break in it | فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالعُرْوَةِ الوُثْقَى لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا
2-256 | and Allah (SWT) is All-Hearing, All-Knowing |
and test the orphans until when they reach marriage | وَابْتَلُوا اليَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّكَاحَ
then if you perceive in them sound judgement, then release to them their property | فَإِنْ ءَانَسْتُم مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ
and don’t consume it extravagantly and hastily that they grow up and whoever is rich | وَلَا تَأْكُلُوْهَآ إِسْرَافًا وَبِدَارًا أَن يَّكْبَرُوا وَمَنْ كَانَ غَنِيًّا
then let him refrain and whoever is poor then let him eat in a fair manner | فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَن كَانَ فَقِيْرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ
and when you release to them their property, then take witnesses on them | فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُوا عَلَيْهِمْ
4-6 | and upon Allah (SWT) sufficed the accounting (reckoning) |
I will turn away from My signs who are arrogant on the earth without right | سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ ءَايَاتِي الَّذِيْنَ يَتَكَبَّرُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الحَقِّ
and if they see every sign not, will they believe in it | وَإِنْ يَرَوا كُلَّ ءَايَةٍ لَا يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَا
and if they see the way of the right not, will they take it as a way | وَإِنْ يَرَوا سَبِيْلَ الرُّشْدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيْلًا
and if they see the way of error, they take it as a way | وَإِنْ يَرَوا سَبِيْلَ الغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوْهُ سَبِيْلًا
7-146 | that is because they denied in Our signs, and they were heedless of them | ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا بِئَايَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا عَنْهَا غَافِلِيْنَ |
and his people came to him, rushing towards him, and from before they used to commit evil | وَجَآئَهُ قَوْمُهُ يُهْرَعُوْنَ إِلَيْهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ
he said, “O my people! here are my daughters, they are purer for you so, fear Allah (SWT) | قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ هَآؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِى هُنَّ أَطْهَرُ لَكُم فَاتَّقُوا اللهَ
11-78 | and do not disgrace before my guests, is there not among you a right-minded man?
they said, “O Shuaib (AS), does your prayer command you that we leave what | قَالُوا يَا شُعَيبُ أَصَلَاتُكَ تَأْمُرُكَ أَن نَّترُكَ مَا يَعْبُدُ
our fathers worshipped or that we do regarding our wealth what we wish?
11-87 | verily, you, certainly you are forbearing, right-minded |
to Firaun and his chiefs but they followed the command of Firaun | إِلَى فِرعَونَ وَمَلَإِيهِ فَاتَّبَعُوا أَمْرَ فِرعَونَ
11-97 | however, the command of Firaun was no right guide |

18-24 | ||
18-66 | ||
21-51 | ||

“It guides to the right so we have believed therein | يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَئَامَنَّا بِهِ
72-2 | and we shall never associate with our Lord anyone” |
72-10 | ||
and we, among us are ones who submitted and among us are ones who deviate | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا المُسْلِمُوْنَ وَمِنَّا القَاسِطُوْنَ
72-14 | so whoever have submitted (Muslim) then those have sought the right path |
72-21 | say ‘indeed I have not the ability to hurt or benefit you’ | قُلْ إِنِّي لَآ أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا رَشَدًا |
