أَمَرَ
A word in the Arabic language will either be: 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – أَمَرَ is a verb
A verb will either be: 1) past tense or 2) present or future tense or 3) a command or request verb, also called an imperative – أَمَرَ is a past tense verb

| Those who break Allah SWT’s covenant after ratifying it | الَّذِيْنَ يَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيْثَاقِهِ | |
| and sever what Allah (SWT) has ordered with it to be joined (reached) | وَيَقْطَعُوْنَ مَآ أَمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوْصَلَ | |
| 2-27 | and cause mischief on the earth, those they are the losers | وَيُفْسِدُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الخَاسِرُوْنَ |
| and they ask you about the menstruation say, “it is a hurt so keep away from the women | وَيَسْئَلُوْنَكَ عَنِ المَحِيْضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَآءَ | |
| during the menstruation and do not approach them until they are pure then when they are purified | فِي المَحِيْضِ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوْهُنَّ حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ | |
| then come to them from where Allah (SWT) has ordered you” | فَأْتُوْهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ اللهُ | |
| 2-222 | indeed, Allah (SWT) loves the ones who turn in repentance, and He loves those who purify themselves | إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَيُحِبُّ المُتَطَهِّرِيْنَ |
| There is no good in most of their private talk except who enjoins charity | لَّا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيْرٍ مِّنْ نَجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ | |
| or kindness or making peace (correcting improving) between the people | أَوْ مَعْرُوْفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ | |
| and who does that seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT) | وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللهِ | |
| 4-114 | then soon We will give him a great reward | فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيْهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا |
| and when they do immorality they say, “We found upon it, our forefathers | وَإِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَآ ءَابَآءَنَا | |
| and Allah (SWT) ordered us upon it” Say, “Indeed Allah (SWT) does not order to immorality | وَاللهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِالفَحْشَآءِ | |
| 7-28 | Do you say about Allah (SWT) what you know not?” | أَتَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Say, “My Lord has commanded to justice and establish your faces towards every place of prostration | قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِالقِسْطِ وَأَقِيْمُوا وُجُوْهَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ | |
| 7-29 | and invoke Him, sincere to Him in the religion, like how He originated you, you will return | وَادْعُوْهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُوْدُوْنَ |
