O children of Israel! remember My Favor which I bestowed upon you andيَابَنِي إِسْرَائِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ
2-40fulfil My Covenant so that I fulfil your covenant and fear none but Meوَأَوْفُوْا بِعَهْدِي أُوْفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ وَإِيَايَ فَارْهَبُوْنِ
O children of Israel, remember My Favor which I bestowed upon youيَا بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ
2-47that I preferred you over the rest of creationوَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِيْنَ
And when We took your covenant and We raised above you the Mount (Sinai)وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّوْرَ
“Take that which We have given you with conviction and remember that which is thereinخُذُوْا مَآ ءَاتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُوْا مَا فِيْهِ
2-63so that you may become pious”لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ
And who are more unjust than who prevent His name being mentioned in the Mosques of Allah (SWT)وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللهِ أَنْ يُذْكَرَ فِيْهَا اسْمُهُ
and strive for their ruinوَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا
It is not for those to enter them but in fearأُوْلَآئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوْهَآ إِلَّا خَائِفِيْنَ
2-114For them is disgrace in this world and a great torment in the hereafterلَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ
O children of Israel, remember My Favor which I bestowed upon youيَا بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ
2-122and that I preferred you over the creationوَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِيْنَ
2-152So, remember Me, I will remember you and be grateful to Me and never be ungrateful to Meفَاذْكُرُوْنِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوْا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُوْنَ
There is no sin on you that you seek the bounty from your Lordلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَبْتَغُوا فَضْلًا مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ
so, when you depart from Arafatفَإِذَآ أَفَضْتُمْ مِّنْ عَرَفَاتٍ
remember Allah (SWT) near the sacred monument (Muzdalifah)فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ عِنْدَ المَشْعَرِ الحَرَامِ
and remember Him as He has guided youوَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ
2-198seeing that you were before of those who were astrayوَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الضَّآلِّيْنَ
and when you have completed your sacred rites (worship)فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمْ مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ
remember Allah (SWT) like you remember your forefathers or with a much greater remembranceفَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ ءَابَآءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا
and from the people are some who say “Our Lord give us in this world”فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُوْلُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا
2-200so not will he have in the hereafter any shareوَمَا لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ
and remember Allah (SWT) in the numbered days and whoever hurries in two daysوَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ
there is no sin on him and whoever stays on there is no sin on him for those of you who are mindfulفَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى
2-203and be mindful of Allah (SWT) and know that unto Him you will be gatheredوَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ
and do not marry polytheist women until they believeوَلَا تَنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَّ
and a believing slave girl (maid) is better than a polytheist woman even if she impresses youوَلَأَمَةٌ مَّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ
and do not give in marriage to polytheist men until they believe, and a believing slave is betterوَلَا تُنْكِحُوا المُشْرِكِيْنَ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنُوا وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ
than a polytheist man even if he impresses you those, they invite to the fireمِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ أُوْلَآئِكَ يَدْعُوْنَ إِلَى النَّارِ
and Allah (SWT) invites to Paradise and forgiveness by His permissionوَاللهُ يَدْعُوا إِلَى الجَنَّةِ وَالمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ
2-221and He makes clear his verses for the people so that you may remember (take heed)وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ
and when you divorce the women, and they reach their term then retain them in a fair mannerوَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ
or release them in a fair manner and do not retain them for harmأَوْ سَرِّحُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوْهُنَّ ضِرَارًا
to transgress and who does that then certainly he wronged himselfلِّتَعْتَدُوا وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ
and do not take the verses of Allah (SWT) in jest and remember the favor of Allah (SWT) upon youوَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا ءَايَاتِ اللهِ هُزُوًا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ
and what He revealed to you of the book and the wisdom, He instructs you with itوَمَآ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنَ الكِتَابِ وَالحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُمْ بِهِ
2-231and be mindful of Allah (SWT) and know that Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of everythingوَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ
and no blame on you in what you hint with it of proposal of womanوَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيْمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَآءِ
or you conceal it in yourselves, Allah (SWT) knows that you will mention themأَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّ
but do not promise them secretly except to say a kind wordوَلَاكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوْهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَنْ تَقُوْلُوا قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا
and do not resolve the knot of marriage until the prescription reaches its termوَلَا تَعْزِمُوا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ
and know that Allah (SWT) knows what is within yourselves so, beware of Himوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُ
2-235and know that Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearingوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ
and if you fear then on foot or riding then when you are secureفَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالًا أَوْ رُكْبَانًا فَإِذَآ أَمِنْتُمْ
2-239then remember Allah (SWT) like what He taught you what not you were knowingفَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ كَمَا عَلَّمَكُم مَّالَمْ تَكُوْنُوا تَعْلَمُوْنَ
He gives the wisdom to whom He wishes and who He receives (granted) wisdomيُؤْتِي الحِكْمَةَ مَن يَشَآءُ وَمَن يُؤْتَ الحِكْمَةَ
2-269then indeed, he is granted abundant good but not they remember except people of understandingفَقَدْ أُوْتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيْرًا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّآ أُوْلُوا الأَلْبَابِ

and not We made the companions of the fire, except angelsوَمَا جَعَلْنَآ أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَآئِكَةً
and not We made their number, except a trial for those who disbelieveوَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا
so that those who were given the book may be convincedلِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ
and those who believe may increase in faithوَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِيْمَانًا
and those who were given the book and the believers do not doubtوَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَالمُؤْمِنُوْنَ
and those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers may say:وَلِيَقُوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالكَافِرُوْنَ
“What does Allah (SWT) intend by this example?”مَاذَآ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلًا
thus Allah (SWT) leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He willsكَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللهُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَآءُ
and he knows not the hosts of your Lord but Heوَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ
74-31and this is not except a reminder to mankindوَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ
74-49so, what is with them? that they turn away from the reminderفَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ التَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِيْنَ
74-54nay! indeed, it is a reminderكَلَّآ إِنَّهُ تَذْكِرَةٌ
74-55for who wishes to remember (pay heed to) itفَمَنْ شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُ
and not will they remember (pay heed to) it, except if Allah (SWT) wishesوَمَا يَذْكُرُوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْ يَشَآءَ اللهُ
74-56He is worthy to fear and worthy to forgiveهُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
75-39then He made from him the two spouses, the male and the femaleفَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى
Has there come upon man a period of timeهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ حِيْنٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ
76-1that he was not a thing mentioned?لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْعًا مَّذْكُوْرًا
76-25remember the name of your Lord morning and eveningوَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيْلًا
Truly this is a reminderإِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ
76-29so, whoever wishes, let him take a path to his Lordفَمَنْ شَآءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيْلًا
77-5and by the ones who offer a reminderفَالمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
79-35the day man will remember what he strove forيَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإِنْسَانُ مَا سَعَى
79-43In what (position) you of mentioning itفِيْمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَآ
80-4or be reminded so the reminder would benefit himأَوْ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنْفَعَهُ الذِّكْرَى
80-11Nay! truly it is a reminderكَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذْكِرَةٌ
80-12so, whosoever wills, he remembers itفَمَنْ شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُ
81-27this is but a reminder for the creationإِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِيْنَ
87-9so, remind, perhaps the reminder benefitsفَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى
87-10the reminder will be received by him who fearsسَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَخْشَى
87-15and remembers the Name of his Lord and praysوَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّى
88-21You are only a reminderإِنَّمَآ أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
and that day Hell will be brought near, on that day man will rememberوَجِاْئَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإِنْسَانُ
89-23but how will that remembrance avail him?وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى
92-3and He who created the male and the femaleوَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى
94-4And have we not raised your remembrance?وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
