لَن
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – لَنْ is a particle
A negative particle governs the aorist in the subjective case and with a future signification

| But if you do not do it, and you will not (be able to) do it | فَإِنْ لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوْا وَلَن تَفْعَلُوْا | |
| then fear the fire whose fuel is men and stones | فَاتَّقُوْا النَّارَ الَّتِي وَقُوْدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالحِجَارَةُ | |
| 2-24 | prepared for the disbelievers | أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِيْنَ |
| And when you said: “O Moses, we shall not believe you until we see Allah (SWT) plainly” | وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوْسَى لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى نَرَى اللهَ جَهْرَةً | |
| 2-55 | but you were seized with a thunder bolt while you were looking | فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ |
| And when you said “O Moses we will not endure one kind of food | وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوْسَى لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَى طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ | |
| so, invoke your Lord for us to bring forth for us of what the earth grows | فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الأَرْضُ | |
| of its herbs, its cucumbers, its wheat/garlic, its lentils and its onions” | مِنْ بَقْلِهَا وَ قِثَّآئِهَا وَفَوْمِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا | |
| He said “Would you exchange for that which is lesser with that which is better? | قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُوْنَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَى بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ | |
| Go you down to a town and you shall find what you are asking for” | اهْبِطُوْا مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُمْ مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ | |
| And they were covered with humiliation and misery as they drew on themselves the Wrath of Allah (SWT) | وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآءُوْا بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللهِ | |
| that due to their disbelieving in the signs of Allah (SWT) | ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ | |

| and Allah SWT measures the night and the day | وَاللهُ يُقَدِّرُ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ | |
| He knows that not you will be able to enumerate it so He turned to you in mercy | عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ | |
| so read what is easy of the Quran | فَاقْرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ القُرْءَانِ | |
| He knows that there will be sick among you | عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُوْنُ مِنْكُم مَّرْضَى | |
| and others travelling in the land | وَآخَرُوْنَ يَضْرِبُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| in search of the bounty of Allah SWT | يَبْتَغُوْنَ مِن فَضْلِ اللهِ | |
| and others fighting in the cause of Allah SWT | وَآخَرُوْنَ يُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ | |
| so read what is easy from it | فَاقْرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ | |
| and establish the prayer and give the obligatory tax | وَأَقِيْمُواْ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ | |
| and loan to Allah SWT an excellent loan | وَأَقْرِضُواْ اللهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا | |
| and whatever of good you send ahead for yourselves, you will find it with Allah SWT | وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنْفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوْهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ | |
| it is better and superior in reward | هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا | |
| 73-20 | and seek forgiveness of Allah SWT, indeed Allah SWT is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful | وَاسْتَغْفِرُواْ اللهَ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| 78-30 | so, taste and not will We increase for you but punishment | فَذُوْقُوا فَلَن نَزِيْدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا |
