لَ حَرْفُ الجَرِّ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – لَ حَرْفُ الجَرِّ is a particle

ل (with fathah) is used as a preposition لَكَ or لَنَا denoting possession, as well as a preposition لَكَ الأَمْرُ expressing attribution, it denotes the genitive and dative cases, meaning ‘to’, ‘for’, ‘unto’, ‘on account of’, ‘belonging to’

Verse
   
88-6No food will there be for them but from a poisonous thorny plantلَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ ضَرِيْعٍ
and that day Hell will be brought nearوَجِاْئَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ
89-23on that day man will remember, but how will that remembrance avail him?يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإِنْسَانُ وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى
the messenger of Allah (SWT) Salih (as) said to themفَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ
91-13“that is the she-camel of Allah (SWT) and her drink”نَاقَةَ اللهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا
92-13and indeed, belonging to Us is the hereafter and the firstوَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُوْلَى
94-1Have We not opened up for you your breast?أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
94-4And have We not raised your remembrance?وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
95-6Except those who believe and do righteous deeds for them is a reward without endإِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ
And not were they commanded except to worship Allah SWT sincere to Him in the upright religionوَمَا أُمِرُوْا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْا اللهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ حُنَفَاءَ
98-5and to establish the prayer and to give the charity and that is the correct religionوَيُقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوْا الزَّكَاتَ وَذَالِكَ دِيْنُ القَيِّمَةِ
99-3and man will say “What is (the matter) with her?وَقَالَ الإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا
99-5Because your Lord will certainly inspire to herبِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَى لَهَا
109-6For you your religion and for me my religionلَكُمْ دِيْنُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِيْنِ
