112-context
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaitaan the cursed | أَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, Most compassionate, Eternally Merciful | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Say! He, Allah is One | 1 | قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ | See below |
Allah is The Absolute | 2 | اللهُ الصَّمَدُ
He does not give birth nor was He born | 3 | لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُوْلَدْ
And there is none like Him | 4 | وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
Aayat 1
The Chapter of the Qur’an entitled “Sincerety” was revealed in Mecca and contains four verses. The first verse of the chapter (Say: He, Allah, is One) according to Imam at-Tirmidhi (ra) who narrated from al-Hakum and Ibn Khuzaimah by way of Abi Aliyah from Ubayy Bin Ka’ab that: “The polytheists said to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ relate to us the lineage of your Rabb [Lord]. So Allah revealed this verse: (Say: He, Allah, is One).”
