2-95 | and Allah SWT is All-Aware of the wrong-doers | وَاللهُ عَلِيْمٌ بِالظَّالِمِيْنَ |
Establish the prayer and pay the obligatory tax | وَأَقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ | |
and whatever you send forth for yourselves of good you will find it with Allah (SWT) | وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوْا لِأَنِفُسِكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوْهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ | |
2-110 | Certainly Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what you do | إِنَّ اللهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ |
Your wives are a tilth (field) for you so, come to your tilth when you wish | نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ | |
and send forth for yourselves and be conscious of Allah (SWT) and know that you will meet Him | وَقَدِّمُوا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُم مُّلَاقُوْهُ | |
2-223 | and give glad tidings to the believers | وَبَشِّرِ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
and when they emerged to face Jalut and his troops they said (invoked) | وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا لِجَالُوْتَ وَجُنُوْدِهِ قَالُوا | |
“Our Lord! pour on us patience and make our feet firm | رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا | |

indeed, your Lord knows that you stand almost two-thirds of the night | إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُوْمُ أَدْنَى مِنْ ثُلُثَى الَّيْلِ | |
or half of it or a third of it as do a party of those with you | وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَآئِفَةٌ مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ مَعَكَ | |
and Allah SWT measures the night and the day | وَاللهُ يُقَدِّرُ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ | |
He knows that not you will be able to enumerate it so He turned to you in mercy | عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ | |
so read what is easy of the Quran | فَاقْرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ القُرْءَانِ | |
He knows that there will be sick among you | عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُوْنُ مِنْكُم مَّرْضَى | |
and others travelling in the land | وَآخَرُوْنَ يَضْرِبُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ | |
in search of the bounty of Allah SWT | يَبْتَغُوْنَ مِن فَضْلِ اللهِ | |
and others fighting in the cause of Allah SWT | وَآخَرُوْنَ يُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ | |
so read what is easy from it | فَاقْرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ | |
and establish the prayer and give the obligatory tax | وَأَقِيْمُواْ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ | |
and loan to Allah SWT an excellent loan | وَأَقْرِضُواْ اللهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا | |
and whatever of good you send ahead for yourselves, you will find it with Allah SWT | وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنْفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوْهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ | |
it is better and superior in reward | هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا | |
73-20 | and seek forgiveness of Allah SWT, indeed Allah SWT is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful | وَاسْتَغْفِرُواْ اللهَ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
74-37 | for whom among you wishes to proceed (go forth) or stay behind | لِمَنْ شَآءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ |
75-13 | man will be informed that day of what he sent forth and kept back | يُنَبَّؤُا الإِنْسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ |
Indeed, We warn you of a near punishment | إِنَّآ أَنْذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيْبًا | |
the day when man will see what his hands have sent forth | يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ المَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ | |
78-40 | and the disbeliever will say, “woe to me! would that I be dust” | وَيَقُوْلُ الكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ تُرَابًا |
