In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ

| Allah (SWT), There is no god except He, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining | 2 | اللهُ لَا إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الحَيُّ القَيُّوْمُ |
| He sent down to you the book in truth | نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الكِتَابَ بِالحَقِّ | |
| confirming what came before it | مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ | |
| and He sent down the Taurah and the Injil | 3 | وَأَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنْجِيْلَ |
| from before, a guidance for the people and He sent down the criterion | مِنْ قَبْلُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَأَنْزَلَ الفُرْقَانَ | |
| truly those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah (SWT), for them is a severe punishment | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is All-Mighty, All-Capable of retribution | 4 | وَاللهُ عَزِيْزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ |
| Truly Allah (SWT), not is hidden from Him anything in the earth and not in the heavens | 5 | إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَآءِ |
| He is who fashions you in the wombs how He wishes | هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ | |
| there is no God except He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise | 6 | لَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ |
| He is who revealed to you the book, in it are verses, entirely clear | هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الكِتَابَ مِنْهُ ءَايَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ | |
| they are the foundations of the book and others not entirely clear | هُنَّ أُمُّ الكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ | |
| so as for those in their hearts is deviation, they follow what is unclear of it | فَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُوْنَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ | |
| seeking misguidance and seeking its hidden meanings and not any know its hidden meanings except Allah (SWT) | ابْتِغَآءَ الفِتْنَةِ وَبْتِغَآءَ تَأْوِيْلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيْلَهُ إِلَّا اللهُ | |
| and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say, “we believe in it all is from with our Lord” | وَالرَّاسِخُوْنَ فِي العِلْمِ يَقُوْلُوْنَ ءَامَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا | |
| and not they will remember (receive admonition) except men of understanding | 7 | وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّآ أُوْلُوا الأَلْبَابِ |
| “Our Lord! let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us mercy from You | رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً | |
| truly You, You are the Bestower” | 8 | إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الوَهَّابُ |
| “Our Lord! indeed, You are the gatherer of mankind on a day, there is no doubt in it | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيْهِ | |
| truly, Allah (SWT) never breaks His promise” | 9 | إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ المِيْعَادَ |
| Indeed, those who disbelieve, not will help (enrich avail) them their wealth | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ | |
| and not their offspring against Allah (SWT) in anything and those, they will be the fuel of the fire | 10 | وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم مِّنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا وَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمْ وَقُوْدُ النَّارِ |
| like the behavior of the people of Firaun and those from before him, they denied Our signs | كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُوا بَئَايَاتِنَا | |
| so, Allah (SWT) took (seized) them for their sins and Allah (SWT) is severe in retribution | 11 | فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللهُ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ وَاللهُ شَدِيْدُ العِقَابِ |
| say to those who disbelieve, “you will be defeated, and you will be gathered to Hell, an evil resting place” | 12 | قُل لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا سَتُغْلَبُوْنَ وَتُحْشَرُوْنَ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ المِهَادُ |
| surely, it was for you a sign in the two forces that met | قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ ءَايَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا | |
| a force fighting in the way of Allah (SWT) and another, disbelievers | فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَأُخْرَى كَافِرَةٌ | |
| they were seeing them, twice of them, with the sight of their eyes and Allah (SWT) supports with His help | يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ العَيْنِ وَاللهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ | |
| whom He wishes indeed, in that is surely a lesson for the men of vision | 13 | مَنْ يَشَآءُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُوْلِي الأَبْصَارِ |
| Beautified for the people is the love of the desire from the women and the sons | زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ وَالبَنِيْنَ | |
| and heaped heaps from the gold and the silver and the branded horses | وَالقَنَاطِيْرِ المُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذّهَبِ وَالفِضَّةِ وَالخَيْلِ المُسَوَّمَةِ | |
| and the cattle and the tilled land, that is the provision of the worldly life | وَالأَنْعَامِ وَالحَرْثِ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا | |
| and Allah (SWT), with Him is the best place of return | 14 | وَاللهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ المَئَابِ |
| Say, “shall I inform you of better than those? for those who feared (mindful and conscious of Allah SWT) | قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ مِّن ذَلِكُمْ لِلَّذِيْنَ اتَّقُوا | |
| gardens with their Lord, rivers flowing under it, abiding forever in it | عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا | |
| and pure spouses and approval from Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of the worshipper” | 15 | وَأَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللهِ وَاللهُ بَصِيْرٌ بِالعِبَادِ |
| those who say, “Our Lord! truly we believed so, forgive for us our sins and save us from the punishment of the fire” | 16 | الَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ |
| The patient and the truthful and the obedient and those who spend and those who seek forgiveness before dawn | 17 | الصَّابِرِيْنَ وَالصَّادِقِيْنَ وَالقَانِتِيْنَ وَالمُنْفِقِيْنَ وَالمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ بِالأَسْحَارِ |
| Allah (SWT) bears witness that He, no God except He and the angels and the people of knowledge standing in justice | شَهِدَ اللهُ أَنَّهُ لَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَالمَلَآئِكَةُ وَأُوْلُوا العِلْمِ قَآئِمًا بِالقِسْطِ | |
| no God except He, All-Mighty, All-Wise | 18 | لَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ |
| Indeed, the religion with Allah (SWT) is submission | إِنَّ الدِّيْنَ عِنْدَ اللهِ الإِسْلَامُ | |
| and not differed those who were given the book except, from after what came to them of knowledge | وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ العِلْمُ | |
| out of envy among them | بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ | |
| and whoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah (SWT) then truly Allah (SWT) is quick (swift) to take account | 19 | وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ سَرِيْعُ الحِسَابِ |
| so, if they argue (dispute) with you say, “I have submitted myself to Allah (SWT) and whoever follows me” | فَإِنْ حَاجُّوْكَ فَقُلْ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّهِ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِ | |
| and say to those who were given the book and the unlettered, “do you submit?” | وَقُل لِلَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَالأُمِّيِّيْنَ ءَأَسْلَمْتُمْ | |
| then if they submit then they are surely guided and if they turn away (back) then only on you is to deliver (convey) | فَإِنْ أَسْلَمُوا فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوا وَّإِنْ تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ البَلَاغُ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is All-Seer of His slaves | 20 | وَاللهُ بَصِيْرٌ بِالعِبَادِ |
| Truly, those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah (SWT) and kill the prophets without right | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ وَيَقْتُلُوْنَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ | |
| and kill those who order to justice from the people then give them tidings of a painful punishment | 21 | وَيَقْتُلُوْنَ الَّذِيْنَ يَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالقِسْطِ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيْمٍ |
| Those are who their deeds became worthless in the world and the hereafter | أُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدَّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ | |
| and not for them from helpers | 22 | وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِيْنَ |
| Have you not seen to those who were given a portion from the book? | أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا نَصِيْبًا مِّنَ الكِتَابِ | |
| they are being invited to the book of Allah (SWT) to settle their disputes | يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ | |
| then a party among them turn away and they are averse | 23 | ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّى فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُوْنَ |
| that because they say, “not will the fire touch us but for a numbered days” | ذَلِكَ بَأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُوْدَاتٍ | |
| and what they were inventing deceived them in their religion | 24 | وَغَرَّهُمْ فِي دِيْنِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُوْنَ |
| then how when We will gather them on a day wherein there is no doubt | فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيْهِ | |
| and every soul will be paid in full for what it earned, and they will not be wronged | 25 | وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ |
| Say, “O Allah (SWT) Lord of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You wish | قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ المُلْكِ تُؤْتِي المُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَآءُ | |
| and You take away the kingdom from whom You wish, and You strengthen whom You wish, and You humiliate | وَتَنْزِعُ المُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ | |
| whom You wish, in Your hand is the good, truly You are over everything All-Powerful | 26 | مَنْ تَشَآءُ بِيَدِكَ الخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| You cause the night to enter the day and You cause the day to enter the night and You bring forth the living | تُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِيْ الَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الحَيَّ | |
| from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living and You provide to whom You wish without measure” | 27 | مِنَ المَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ المَيِّتَ مِنَ الحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ |
| let not the believers take the disbelievers as allies (friends-guardians) from instead of the believers | لَّا يَتَّخِذِ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ الكَافِرِيْنَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِنْ دُوْنِ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ | |
| and whoever does that then not he has from Allah (SWT) in anything | وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللهِ فِيْ شَيْءٍ | |
| except that you fear from them as a precaution and Allah (SWT) warns you of Himself | إِلَّآ أَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللهُ نَفْسَهُ | |
| and to Allah (SWT) is the destination (final return) | 28 | وَإِلَى اللهِ المَصِيْرُ |
| Say, “If you conceal what is in your breasts or you reveal it Allah (SWT) knows it | قُلْ إِنْ تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُوْرِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوْهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللهُ | |
| and He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth | وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is over everything, All-Powerful” | 29 | وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| On the day every soul will find what he did of good presented and what he did of evil | يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُوءٍ | |
| it will wish if that between itself and between it a great distance | تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيْدًا | |
| and Allah (SWT) warns you of Himself and Allah (SWT) is Most-Kind to His slaves | 30 | وَيُحَذِّرُرُكُمُ اللهُ نَفْسَهُ وَاللهُ رَءُوْفٌ بِالعِبَادِ |
| Say, “If you were to love Allah (SWT) then follow me Allah (SWT) will love you and forgive for you your sins” | قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللهَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوْبَكُمْ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | 31 | وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| Say, “Obey Allah (SWT) and the messenger” | قُلْ أَطِيْعُوا اللهَ وَالرَّسُوْلَ | |
| but if they turn away then surely, Allah (SWT) does not love the disbelievers | 32 | فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الكَافِرِيْنَ |
| Indeed Allah (SWT) chose Adam (AS) and Noah (AS) and the family of Abraham (AS) | إِنَّ اللهَ اصْطَفَى ءَادَمَ وَنُوْحًا وَءَالَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ | |
| and the family of Imran over the entire creation | 33 | وَءَالَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى العَالَمِيْنَ |
| offspring, one of the other and Allah (SWT) is All-Hearing, All-Knowing | 34 | ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ وَاللهُ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ |
| When the wife of Imran said | إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ | |
| “My Lord, indeed, I vowed to you, what is in my womb, dedicated | رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا | |
| so, accept from me, indeed you, you are All-Hearing, All-Knowing | 35 | فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ العَلِيْمُ |
| then when she delivered her, she said, “O my Lord indeed I delivered her, a female” | فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَآ أُنْثَى | |
| and Allah (SWT) is All- knowing of what she delivered | وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ | |
| “And the male is not like the female and indeed I named her Maryam | وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالأُنْثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ | |
| and indeed, I seek refuge for her with you and her offspring from Satan the rejected | 36 | وَإِنِّي أُعِيْذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ |
| So, her Lord accepted her with an excellent acceptance | فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُوْلٍ حَسَنٍ | |
| and caused her to grow an excellent growing and put her in the care of Zachariya | وَأَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا | |
| whenever Zachariya entered upon her private chamber, he found her with provision (sustenance) | كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا المِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقًا | |
| he said, “O Maryam, from where for you this?” | قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَذَا | |
| she said “This is from Allah (SWT) | قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ | |
| Indeed, Allah (SWT) provides who He wishes without measure (account) | 37 | إِنَّ اللهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ |
| There Zachariya invoked his Lord | هُنَا لِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ | |
| he said, “My Lord bestow (grant) for me from yourself pure offspring | قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً | |
| truly You are All-Hearing of the call (prayer-supplication)” | 38 | إِنَّكَ سَمِيْعُ الدُّعَآءِ |
| then the angels called him while he was standing, praying in the chamber | فَنَادَتْهُ المَلَآئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآئِمٌ يُصَلِّى فِي المِحْرَابِ | |
| that Allah (SWT) gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John), confirming a word from Allah (SWT) | أَنَّ اللهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَى مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللهِ | |
| and noble and chaste and a prophet among the righteous | 39 | وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُوْرًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ |
| He said, “My Lord, how can be for me a son? | قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُوْنُ لِي غُلَامٌ | |
| as verily old age has reached me, and my wife is barren | وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ | |
| He said, “Thus Allah (SWT) does what He wishes” | 40 | قَالَ كَذَلِكَ اللهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ |
| He said, “Make for me a sign” | قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِّي ءَايَةً | |
| He said, “Your sign is that not you will speak to the people for three days except gesturing | قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا | |
| and mention (remember) your Lord much and glorify in the evening and the morning | 41 | وَاذْكُرْ رَّبَّكَ كَثِيْرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالعَشِيِّ وَالإِبْكَارِ |
| and when the angels said, “O Maryam, truly Allah (SWT) chose you | وَإِذْ قَالَتِ المَلَآئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللهَ اصْطَفَاكِ | |
| and purified you and chose you above the women of the entire creation” | 42 | وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَى نِسَآءِ العَالَمِيْنَ |
| O Maryam, be obedient to your Lord and prostrate | يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي | |
| and bow down with those who bow down | 43 | وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِيْنَ |
| That is from the news of the unseen We reveal it to you | ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَنْبَآءِ الغَيْبِ نُوْحِيْهِ إِلَيْكَ | |
| and not, were you with them when they cast their pens | وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُوْنَ أَقْلَامَهُمْ | |
| which of them will take charge (raise) Maryam and not you were with them when they were disputing | 44 | أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُوْنَ |
| when the angels said, “O Maryam, indeed Allah (SWT) gives you glad tidings of a word | إِذْ قَالَتِ المَلَآئِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ | |
| from Him, his name is Messiah Isa (AS) son of Maryam | مِنْهُ اسْمُهُ المَسِيْحُ عِيْسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ | |
| honored in this world and the hereafter and from the ones brought near | 45 | وَجِيْهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ المُقَرَّبِيْنَ |
| He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and of the righteous | 46 | وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي المَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ |
| She said, “My Lord, how be for me a boy when not touched me any man? | قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُوْنُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ | |
| He said, “Thus Allah (SWT) creates what He wishes” | قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ | |
| when He decrees a matter then only, He says to it “Be” and it becomes | 47 | إِذَا قَدَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ |
| and He will teach him the book and wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel | 48 | وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الكِتَابَ وَالحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنْجِيْلَ |
| and a messenger to the children of Israel | وَرَسُوْلًا إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَاءِيْلَ | |
| “Indeed, I surely come to you with a sign from your Lord | أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِئَايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| that I create for you from clay like the form of a bird | أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطِّيْنِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ | |
| then I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by the permission of Allah (SWT) | فَأَنْفُخُ فِيْهِ فَيَكُوْنُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ | |
| and I cure the blind and the leper and I give life to the dead by the permission of Allah (SWT) | وَأُبْرِئُ الأَكْمَهَ وَالأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِ المَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللهِ | |
| and I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses | وَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُوْنَ فِي بُيُوْتِكُمْ | |
| truly in these are signs for you if you be believers | 49 | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَئَايَةً لَّكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and confirming that which is between your hands from the Taurat | وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ | |
| and to allow (make lawful) for you some of which was forbidden to you | وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ | |
| and i come to you with a sign from your Lord | وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِئَايَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| so, fear Allah (SWT) and obey me | 50 | فَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَأَطِيْعُوْنِ |
| Surely, Allah (SWT) is my Lord and your Lord so, worship Him | إِنَّ اللهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ | |
| this is the straight path | 51 | هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيْمٌ |
| so, when Isa (AS) from them, disbelieve | فَلَمَّآ أَحَسَّ عِيْسَى مِنْهُمُ الكُفْرَ | |
| he said, “Who will be my helpers with Allah (SWT)?” | قَالَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِيَ إِلَى اللهِ | |
| the disciples said, “We will be the helpers of Allah (SWT)” | قَالَ الحَوَارِيُّوْنَ نَحْنُ أَنْصَارُ اللهِ | |
| “We believe in Allah (SWT) and bear witness that we are ones who submit (Muslims) | 52 | ءَامَنَّا بِاللهِ وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُوْنَ |
| “Our Lord, we believe in what you sent down and we follow the messenger | رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا بِمَآ أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ | |
| so, write us among the witnesses | 53 | فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِيْنَ |
| and they plotted and Allah (SWT) planned, and Allah (SWT) is the best of those who plan | 54 | وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللهُ وَاللهُ خَيْرُ المَاكِرِيْنَ |
| when Allah (SWT) said, “O Isa (AS) truly I will take you and raise you to Me | إِذْ قَالَ اللهُ يَا عِيْسَى إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيْكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ | |
| and purify you from those who disbelieve | وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا | |
| and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve | وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا | |
| till the day of resurrection then to Me you will return | إِلَى يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ | |
| then I will judge between you in what you used to differ in it” | 55 | فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيْمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيْهِ تَخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment | فَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيْدًا | |
| in this world and in the hereafter and not for them any helpers | 56 | فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ نَّاصِرِيْنَ |
| As for those who believe and do righteous deeds | وَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ | |
| then He will grant them in full their reward and Allah (SWT) does not love the wrongdoers | 57 | فَيُوَفِّيْهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَاللهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| That We recite it to you from the verses (signs) and the Wise reminder | 58 | ذَلِكَ نَتْلُوْهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الأَيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الحَكِيْمِ |
| Indeed, the likeness of Isa (AS) with Allah (SWT) is like Adam (AS) | إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيْسَى عِنْدَ اللهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَ | |
| He created him from dust, then He said to him, “Be” and he was | 59 | خَلَقَهُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ |
| The truth from your Lord so be not of those who doubt | 60 | الحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ المُمْتَرِيْنَ |
| so, whoever argues with you about him after what came to you of knowledge | فَمَنْ حَآجَّكَ فِيْهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ العِلْمِ | |
| then say, “come, let us call our sons and your sons | فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَآءَنَا وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ | |
| and our women and your women and ourselves and yourselves | وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمْ وَأَنْفُسَنَا وَأَنْفُسَكُمْ | |
| then let us humbly pray and invoke the curse of Allah (SWT) upon the liars | 61 | ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَل لَّعْنَتَ اللهِ عَلَى الكَاذِبِيْنَ |
| Indeed, this certainly it is the true narration | إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ القَصَصُ الحَقُّ | |
| and not from a god except Allah (SWT) | وَمَا مِنْ إِلَاهٍ إِلَّا اللهُ | |
| and truly Allah (SWT) certainly He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise | 62 | وَإِنَّ اللهَ لَهُوَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ |
| and if they turn away, then surely Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of the corrupters | 63 | فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَلِيْمٌ بِالمُفْسِدِيْنَ |
| Say, “O people of the book! Come to a word equitable between us and between you | قُلْ يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ تَعَالَوا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَآءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ | |
| that we worship not except Allah (SWT) and we do not associate anything with Him | أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا اللهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا | |
| and not some of us take others as lords from besides Allah (SWT) | وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًا مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ | |
| then if they turn away then say, “bear witness that we are those who submit (Muslims)” | 64 | فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوا فَقُوْلُوا اشْهَدُوا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُوْنَ |
| O people of the book! Why do you argue concerning Abraham (AS) | يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّوْنَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيْمَ | |
| as the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed except after him | وَمَآ أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالإِنْجِيْلُ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ | |
| then why do you not reason? | 65 | أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| Here you are, those, you argued about what you have knowledge of it | هَآ أَنْتُمْ هَآؤُلَآءِ حَاجَجْتُمْ فِيْمَا لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ | |
| then why do you argue about what you have no knowledge of it | فَلِمَ تُحَآجُّوْنَ فِيْمَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ | |
| and Allah (SWT) knows, and you do not know | 66 | وَاللهُ يَعْاَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Ebrahim (AS) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was | مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيْمُ يَهُوْدِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَكِنْ كَانَ | |
| an upright (true) one who submitted (Muslim) and not was he from the polytheists | 67 | حَنِيْفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| Indeed, nearest of the people to Ebrahim (AS) are truly those who follow him | إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيْمَ لَلَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُ | |
| and this prophet and those who believe, and Allah (SWT) is the friend (protector) of the believers | 68 | وَهَذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَاللهُ وَلِيُّ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| A group from the people of the book wish if they can lead you astray | وَدَّتْ طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ لَوْ يُضِلُّوْنَكُمْ | |
| but not they lead astray except themselves however, not they perceive it | 69 | وَمَا يُضِلُّوْنَ إِلَّآ أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ |
| O people of the book! why do you deny the signs of Allah (SWT) while you bear witness? | 70 | يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُوْنَ |
| O people of the book! why do you cover (confuse-mix) the truth with falsehood | يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُوْنَ الحَقَّ بِالبَاطِلِ | |
| and conceal the truth while you know? | 71 | وَتَكْتُمُوْنَ الحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| and a group from the people of the book said, | وَقَالَتْ طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ | |
| “Believe in what was revealed to those who believe at the beginning of the day | ءَامِنُوا بِالَّذِيْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ | |
| and disbelieve (reject) it at the last (end) of it so that (perhaps) they may return (turn back)” | 72 | وَاكْفُرُوا ءَاخِرُهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ |
| and do not believe except the one who follows your religion | وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا إِلَّا لِمَنْ تَبِعَ دِيْنَكُمْ | |
| say, “truly the guidance is the guidance of Allah (SWT)” | قُلْ إِنَّ الهُدَى هُدَى اللهِ | |
| that one is given the like of what was given to you | أَنْ يُؤْتَى أَحَدٌ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوْتِيْتُمْ | |
| or they may argue with you with your Lord | أَوْ يُحَاجُّوْكُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ | |
| say, “Truly, the bounty is in the hand of Allah (SWT) | قُلْ إِنَّ الفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللهِ | |
| He gives it to who He wishes, and Allah (SWT) is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing” | 73 | يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَاللهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ |
| He chooses for His mercy who He wishes | يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is the possessor of great bounty | 74 | وَاللهُ ذُو الفَضْلِ العَظِيْمِ |
| and from the people of the book are who if you entrust him with a heap of wealth | وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ مَنْ إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِقِنْطَارٍ | |
| he will return it to you | يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ | |
| and among them are who if you entrust him with a single coin, not will he return it to you | وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِدِيْنَارٍ لَّا يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ | |
| except that you keep constantly over him, standing | إِلَّا مَا دُمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَآئِمًا | |
| that because that they said: “Not on us concerning the unlettered people, a way (accountability)” | ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الأُمِّيِّيْنَ سَبِيْلٌ | |
| and they tell a lie about Allah (SWT) while they know | 75 | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ الكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Nay, who fulfills his promise (covenant) and fears | بَلَى مَنْ أَوْفَى بِعَهْدِهِ وَاتَّقَى | |
| then truly Allah (SWT) loves those who fear (righteous) | 76 | فَإِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ المُتَّقِيْنَ |
| Indeed, those who purchase (exchange) a small gain with the covenant of Allah (SWT) and their oaths | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَشْتَرُوْنَ بِعَهْدِ اللهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا | |
| those will have no share for them in the hereafter | أُوْلَآئِكَ لَا خَلَقَ لَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ | |
| and Allah (SWT) will not speak to them and will not look to them on the day of resurrection | وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| and will not purify them and for them will be a painful torment (punishment) | 77 | وَلَا يُزَكِّيْهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ |
| and indeed, among them certainly a group, they distort their tongues with the book | وَإِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَرِيْقًا يَلْوُوْنَ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالكِتَابِ | |
| so, you would think it is from the book but not it is from the book | لِتَحْسَبُوْهُ مِنَ الكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الكِتَابِ | |
| and they say, “it is from Allah (SWT)” but not it is from Allah (SWT) | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ | |
| and they say about Allah (SWT) the lie while they know | 78 | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ الكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Not be for a human that Allah (SWT) gives him the book and wisdom and prophethood | مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَنْ يُؤْتِيَهُ اللهُ الكِتَابَ وَالحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ | |
| then he says to the people, “be worshippers of me from other than Allah (SWT)” | ثُمَّ يَقُوْلَ لِلنَّاسِ كُوْنُوا عِبَادًا لِّي مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ | |
| instead “Be worshippers of the Lord being that you have been teaching the book | وَلَاكِنْ كُوْنُوا رَبَّانِيِّيْنَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تُعَلِّمُوْنَ الكِتَابَ | |
| and being that you have been studying it” | 79 | وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَدْرُسُوْنَ |
| and not he will command you to take the angels and prophets as Lords | وَلَا يَأْمُرَكُمْ أَنْ تَتَّخِذُوا المَلَآئِكَةَ وَالنَّبِيِّيْنَ أَرْبَابًا | |
| would he order you to disbelief after when you are ones who submit (Muslims) | 80 | أَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ |
| and when Allah (SWT) took the covenant of the prophets | وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللهُ مِيْثَاقَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ | |
| “Indeed, what I have given you from the book and wisdom | لَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُكُمْ مِّنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ | |
| then a messenger came to you confirming what was with you | ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ | |
| Indeed, you must certainly believe in him and certainly you must help him | لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُ | |
| He said, “Do you affirm, and you take on that, my covenant?” | قَالَ ءَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ إِصْرِى | |
| they said: “We affirm” | قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا | |
| He said: “Then bear witness that I am with you among the ones who witness” | 81 | قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِيْنَ |
| Then whoever turns away after that, then those, they are ones who are defiantly disobedient | 82 | فَمَنْ تَوَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الفَاسِقُوْنَ |
| Is it other than the religion of Allah (SWT) they seek | أَفَغَيْرَ دِيْنِ اللهِ يَبْغُوْنَ | |
| while to Him have submitted who is in the heavens and earth willingly or unwillingly | وَلَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا | |
| and to Him they will be returned | 83 | وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُوْنَ |
| Say, “We believed in Allah (SWT) and what is sent down to us | قُلْ ءَامَنَّا بِاللهِ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا | |
| and what has been sent down to Ebrahim (AS) and Ismail (AS) and Ishaq (AS) and Yakub (AS) | وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيْلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَاقُوْبَ | |
| and the descendants and what was given to Musa (AS) and Isa (AS) and the prophets from their Lord | وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوْتِيَ مُوْسَى وَعِيْسَى وَالنَّبِيُّوْنَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ | |
| not we differentiate between anyone among them, and we are to Him submissive (Muslims) | 84 | لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُوْنَ |
| and whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him | وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلَامِ دِيْنًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ | |
| and in the hereafter, he will be of the losers | 85 | وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الخَاسِرِيٍْنَ |
| How can Allah (SWT) guide a people who disbelieved after their belief? | كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ | |
| and they witnessed that the messenger is true and clear proofs came to them? | وَشَهِدُوا أَنَّ الرَّسُوْلَ حَقٌّ وَجَآءَهُمُ البَيِّنَاتُ | |
| and Allah (SWT) does not guide the wrongdoing people | 86 | وَاللهُ لَا يَهْدِي القَوْمَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| those, their recompense is that on them is the curse of Allah (SWT) | أُوْلَآئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللهِ | |
| and the angels and the people all together | 87 | وَالمَلَآئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ |
| they will abide forever in it, not will be lightened for them, the punishment and not will they be given respite | 88 | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ العَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُوْنَ |
| except those who repented from after that and reformed | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا | |
| then indeed, Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | 89 | فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| truly those who disbelieved after their belief then they increased in disbelieve | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا | |
| not will their repentance be accepted and those, they are those who have gone astray | 90 | لَّنْ تُقْبَلَ تَوْبَتُهُمْ وَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الضَّآلُّوْنَ |
| truly those who disbelieved and died while they were disbelievers | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ | |
| then not will be accepted from anyone of them earth full of gold | فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهَمْ مِّلْءُ الأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا | |
| even if he offered it as a ransom | وَلَوِ افْتَدَى بِهِ | |
| those, for them is a painful punishment and not for them any helpers | 91 | أُوْلَآئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ نَّاصِرِيْنَ |
| Part 4 / Chapter 3 | Chapter 3 / لَن تَنَا لُوا البِرَّ | |
| not will you attain (reach) righteousness (piety-goodness) until you spend from what you love | لَنْ تَنَالُوا البِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّوْنَ | |
| and whatever you spend of a thing then indeed, Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of it | 92 | وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللهَ بِهِ عَلِيْمٌ |
| All food was lawful for the children of Israel | كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِّبَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ | |
| except what Israel made forbidden upon himself from before that the Taurat was revealed | إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسْرَآئِيْلُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرَاةُ | |
| say, “So bring the Taurat and recite it if you are truthful” | 93 | قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَآ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| then whoever invents about Allah (SWT) a lie from after that | فَمَنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللهِ الكَذِبَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ | |
| then those, they are the wrongdoers | 94 | فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُوْنَ |
| Say, “Allah (SWT) spoke the truth so, follow the upright religion of Ebrahim (AS) | قُلْ صَدَقَ اللهُ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ حَنِيْفًا | |
| and not was he of the polytheists | 95 | وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| Truly the first house born (set up-appointed-established) for mankind is indeed, which is in Makkah | إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ | |
| blessed and a guidance for the worlds | 96 | مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَلَمِيْنَ |
| In it are clear signs, standing place of Ebrahim (AS) and whoever enters it is safe (secure-attains security) | فِيْهِ ءَايَتٌ بَيِّنَتٌ مَّقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ ءَامِنًا | |
| and due to Allah (SWT) upon mankind is pilgrimage of the house for who is able to find a way to it | وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ البَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيْلًا | |
| and whoever disbelieved then certainly, Allah (SWT) is rich (free of need-independent) from the worlds | 97 | وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ العَلَمِيْنَ |
| Say, “O people of the book! Why do you disbelieve in the signs of Allah (SWT) | قُلْ يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ | |
| while Allah (SWT) is a witness over what you do?” | 98 | وَاللهُ شَهِيْدٌ عَلَى مَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| Say, “O people of the book! Why do you avert who believe from the way of Allah (SWT)?” | قُلْ يَآ أَهْلَ الكِتَابِ لِمَ تَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ | |
| seeking to make it seem crooked while you are witnesses | تَبْغَوْنَهَا عِوَجًا وَأَنْتُمْ شُهَدَآءُ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is not unaware of what you do | 99 | وَمَا اللهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| O you who believe! if you obey a group from those who were given the book | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيْعُوا فَرِيْقًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ | |
| they will turn (return) you back to disbelieve after you believe | 100 | يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيْمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِيْنَ |
| and how you disbelieve while you, upon you is recited the verses of Allah (SWT) | وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَاتُ اللهِ | |
| and in (among) you is, His messenger | وَفِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلُهُ | |
| and whoever holds firmly to Allah (SWT) then indeed, he is guided to a straight path | 101 | وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ |
| O you who believe! fear Allah (SWT) a true fearing Him | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ | |
| and die not except while you are of those who submit (Muslims) | 102 | وَلَا تَمُوْتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ |
| and hold firmly to the rope of Allah (SWT) all together and do not be divided | وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللهِ جَمِيْعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا | |
| and remember the favor of Allah (SWT) upon you, when you were enemies | وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَآءً | |
| then He joined (friends) between your hearts, then you became brothers by his favor | فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوْبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا | |
| and you were on the brink of a pit of fire then He saved you from it | وَكنْتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِّنْهَا | |
| thus Allah (SWT) makes clear for you His verses (signs) so that you may be guided | 103 | كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ |
| and let there be among you a people calling to the good | وَلْتَكُنْ مِّنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُوْنَ إِلَى الخَيْرِ | |
| ordering (encouraging) to the right (goodness) and forbidding from wrong (evil) | وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ | |
| and those, they are the ones who are successful | 104 | وَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ المُفْلِحُوْنَ |
| and do not be like those who became divided and differed from after what clear proofs came to them | وَلَا تَكًُوْنُوا كَالَّذِيْنَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ البَيِّنَاتُ | |
| and those, for them is a great punishment | 105 | وَأُوْلَآئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ |
| the day faces will be white, and faces will be black | يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوْهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوْهٌ | |
| as for those whose faces turn black “Did you disbelieve after your belief?” | فَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوْهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيْمَانِكُمْ | |
| then taste the punishment for what you used to disbelieve | 106 | فَذُوْقٌوا العَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ |
| and as for those whose faces turn white then in the mercy of Allah (SWT) they will abide forever in it | 107 | وَأَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوْهُهُمْ فَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللهِ هُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ |
| These are the verses of Allah (SWT), We recite them to you in truth | تِلْكَ ءَايَاتُ اللهِ نَتْلُوْهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالحَقِّ | |
| and Allah (SWT) wills (wishes-wants) no injustice to the worlds | 108 | وَمَا اللهُ يُرِيْدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَالَمِيْنَ |
| and (belongs) to Allah (SWT) whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth | وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| and to Allah (SWT) will be returned, all matters | 109 | وَإِلَى اللهِ تُرْجَعُ الأُمُوْرُ |
| You are the best people brought forth for mankind | كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ | |
| ordering (enjoining) to the right (goodness) and forbidding from the wrong (evil) and believing in Allah (SWT) | تَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالمَعْرُوْفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللهِ | |
| and if the people of the book believed surely, it would have been better for them | وَلَوْ ءَامَنَ أَهْلُ الكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ | |
| among them are believers but most of them are defiantly disobedient | 110 | مِّنْهُمُ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَأَكْثَرَهُمُ الفَاسِقُوْنَ |
| Not will they harm you except a hurt | لَنْ يَضُرُّوْكُمْ إِلَّا أَذًى | |
| and if they fight you, they will turn their backs to you then not will they be helped | 111 | وَإِنْ يُقَاتِلُوْكُمْ يُوَلُّوْكُمُ الأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُوْنَ |
| Humiliation struck on them wherever they are found except with a rope from Allah (SWT) | ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِّنَ اللهِ | |
| and a rope from the people and they incurred wrath from Allah (SWT) | وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللهِ | |
| and the poverty struck on them | وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ المَسْكَنَةُ | |
| that is because they disbelieved in the signs of Allah (SWT) | ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ | |
| and they killed the prophets without right | وَيَقْتُلُوْنَ الأَنْبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ | |
| that is because they disobeyed, and they used to transgress | 112 | ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُوا يَعْتَدُوْنَ |
| They are not the same, from the people of the book, a community standing | لَيْسُوا سَوَآءٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ أُمَّةٌ قَآئِمَةٌ | |
| they recite the verses of Allah (SWT) during the hours of the night, and they prostrate | 113 | يَتْلُوْنَ ءَايَاتِ اللهِ ءَانَآءَ الَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُوْنَ |
| they believe in Allah (SWT) and the last day, and they enjoin to the right | يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَاليَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالمَعْرُفِ | |
| and forbid from the wrong and they hasten to the good | وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنْ المُنْكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُوْنَ فِي الخَيْرَاتِ | |
| and those are from the righteous | 114 | وَأُوْلَآئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ |
| and whatever they do of good then not will they be denied it | وَمَا يَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ يُكْفَرُوْهُ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of the ones who fear | 115 | وَاللهُ عَلِيْمٌ بِالمُتَّقِيْنَ |
| Truly those who disbelieve not will avail them their properties nor their children anything from Allah (SWT) | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِّنَ اللهِ | |
| and those are the companions of the fire, they will abide in it forever | 116 | شَيْئًا وَأُوْلَآئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ |
| The example of who spend in this life of the world is like the example of a wind in it is frost | مَثَلُ مَا يُنْفِقُوْنَ فِي هَذِهِ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيْحٍ فِيْهَا صِرٌّ | |
| it struck the harvest of a people who wronged themselves then destroyed it | أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ | |
| and not did Allah (SWT) wrong them but they wronged themselves | 117 | وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللهُ وَلَكِنْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ |
| O you who believe! do not take as intimates from other than yourselves | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِّنْ دُوْنِكُمْ | |
| they will not spare you any ruin, they wish what distresses you | لَا يَاْلُوْنَكُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْ | |
| Indeed, the hatred from their mouths is apparent but what they conceal in the breasts is greater | قَدْ بَدَتِ البَغْضَآءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُوْرُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ | |
| Indeed, We have made clear for you the signs, if you reason | 118 | قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمْ الآيَاتِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| Lo! you are those, you love them and not they love you and you believe in the scripture, all of it | هَآ أَنْتُمْ أُوْلَآءِ تُحِبُّوْنَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّوْنَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ | |
| and when they meet you, they say, “We believe” and when they are alone | وَإِذَا لَقُوْكُمْ قَالُوا ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوا | |
| they bite the fingertips out of rage at you | عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الغَيْظِ | |
| Say, “Die in your rage” Indeed, Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of what is in the breasts | 119 | قُلْ مُوْتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ عَلِيْمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ |
| If good touches you, it grieves them and if misfortune befalls you, they rejoice at it | إِنْ تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِنْ تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُوا بِهَا | |
| and if you are patient and fear, their plot will not harm you anything | وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا | |
| Truly Allah (SWT) is All-Encompassing of what they do | 120 | إِنَّ اللهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ مُحِيْطٌ |
| and when you left early from your household to post the believers positions for the battle | وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is All-Hearing, All-Knowing | 121 | وَاللهُ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ |
| When two parties among you determined that they lost heart, but Allah (SWT) was their protector | إِذْ هَمَّتْ طَّآئِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْشَلَا وَاللهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا | |
| and on Allah (SWT) then let the believers put their trust | 122 | وَعَلَى اللهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| and certainly Allah (SWT) helped you in Badr while you were weak (low-humbled) | وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنْتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ | |
| so, fear Allah (SWT) so that you may be grateful | 123 | فَاتَّقُوا اللهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ |
| when you say to the believers, “Is it not sufficient for you | إِذْ تَقُوْلُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ أَلَنْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ | |
| that your Lord reinforces you with three thousand from angels sent down? | 124 | أَنْ يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلَاثَةِ ءَالَافٍ مِّنَ المَلَآئِكَةِ مُنْزَلِيْنَ |
| Yes indeed, if you are patient and you fear, and they come to you, this from overflowing themselves | بَلَى إِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوْكُمْ مِّنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هَذَا | |
| your Lord will aid you with five thousand from angels having marks (distinction) | 125 | يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ ءَالَافٍ مِّنَ المَلَآئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِيْنَ |
| and not Allah (SWT) made it except good news for you and to reassure your hearts with it | وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَى لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوْبُكُمْ بِهِ | |
| and there is no victory except with Allah (SWT) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise | 126 | وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ العَزِيْزِ الحَكِيْمِ |
| that He cut off part from those who disbelieve or suppress them, so they turn back disappointed | 127 | لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنْقَلِبُوا خَآئِبِيْنَ |
| Not for you from the command anything or He turns to them or punishes them | لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوْبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ | |
| for indeed, they are wrongdoers | 128 | فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُوْنَ |
| and belongs to Allah (SWT) what is in the heavens and what is in the earth | وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills, and Allah (SWT) is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | 129 | يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَاللهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ |
| O you who believe! do not eat usury doubled, multiplied | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَوآ أَضْعَافًا مُّضَاعَفَةً | |
| and fear Allah (SWT) so that you be successful | 130 | وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلَحُوْنَ |
| and fear the fire which is prepared for the disbelievers | 131 | وَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِيْنَ |
| and obey Allah (SWT) and the messenger so that you may receive mercy | 132 | وَأَطِيْعُوا اللهَ وَالرَّسُوْلَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ |
| and hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and paradise | وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ | |
| its width, wide as the heavens and the earth prepared for the pious | 133 | عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ |
| those who spend in prosperity (ease) and in adversity (hardship) | الَّذِيْنَ يُنْفِقُوْنَ فِي السَّرَّآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ | |
| and those who suppress the anger and pardon the people | وَالكَاظِمِيْنَ الغَيْظَ وَالعَافِيْنَ عَنِ النَّاسِ | |
| and Allah (SWT) loves the good-doers | 134 | وَاللهُ يُحِبُّ المُحْسِنِيْنَ |
| and those who when they do immorality or wrong themselves, they remember Allah (SWT) | وَالَّذِيْنَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللهَ | |
| then they ask forgiveness for their sins and who can forgive the sins except Allah (SWT)? | فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوْبِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا اللهُ | |
| and not they persist on what they did while they know | 135 | وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Those, their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens | أُوْلَآئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ | |
| flowing from under it, rivers, they will abide therein forever and excellent is the reward of the workers | 136 | تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ العَامِلِيْنَ |
| Indeed, ways of life passed from before you | قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌ | |
| then travel in the earth and look how was the end of the disbelievers (deniers-ungrateful) | 137 | فَسِيْرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ المُكَذِّبِيْنَ |
| This is an explanation for the people and a guidance and an admonition (advice) for the ones who fear | 138 | هَذَا بَيَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ |
| and do not weaken and do not grieve and you will be superior if you are believers | 139 | وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوْا وَأَنْتُمُ الأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| If a wound has touched you, then certainly a wound like it has touched the people | إِنْ يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ القَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ | |
| and these days We alternate them among people so that Allah (SWT) makes known those who believe | وَتِلْكَ الأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا | |
| and take among you witnesses (martyrs) and Allah (SWT) does not love the wrongdoers | 140 | وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنْكُمْ شُهَدَآءَ وَاللهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| and for Allah (SWT) to purify those who believe and destroy the disbelievers | 141 | وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَيَمْحَقَ الكَافِرِيْنَ |
| Or do you think that you will enter the garden (Paradise) while Allah (SWT) has not made known | أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللهُ | |
| those who strove among you, and He knows (made evident) the ones who are patient (steadfast) | 142 | الَّذِيْنَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِيْنَ |
| and certainly, you used to wish for death from before that you met it | وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ المَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَلْقَوْهُ | |
| then indeed, you saw it while you were looking on | 143 | فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ |
| and not is Muhammad (SAW) but a messenger certainly, messengers passed away from before him | وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُوْلٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ | |
| so, if he died or is slain, will you turn back on your heels? | أَفَإِيْن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ | |
| and who turns back on his heels then not will he harm Allah (SWT) anything | وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللهَ شَيْئًا | |
| and Allah (SWT) will reward the grateful ones | 144 | وَسَيَجْزِي اللهُ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ |
| and not is for a soul that it dies except by the permission of Allah (SWT), a decree determined | وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلًا | |
| and whoever wants a reward of the world, We will give him from it | وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا | |
| and whoever wants a reward of the hereafter, We will give him from it and We will reward the grateful ones | 145 | وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِيْنَ |
| and how many from a prophet fought with him many religious scholars | وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّوْنَ كَثِيْرٌ | |
| but not they lost heart for what befell them in the way of Allah (SWT) | فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَآ أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ | |
| and not they weakened and not they gave in, and Allah (SWT) loves the patient ones | 146 | وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا وَاللهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِيْنَ |
| and not were their words except that they said, “Our Lord forgive for us our sins | وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْلَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا | |
| and our excesses in our affairs and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people | 147 | وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى القَوْمِ الكَافِرِيْنَ |
| So, Allah (SWT) gave them reward in the world and good reward in the hereafter | فَئَاتَاهُمُ اللهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الأَخِرَةِ | |
| and Allah (SWT) loves the good-doers | 148 | وَاللهُ يُحِبُّ المُحْسِنِيْنَ |
| O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيْعُوا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا | |
| they will turn you back on your heels then you will turn back as losers | 149 | يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِيْنَ |
| Nay, Allah (SWT) is your protector, and He is the best of helpers | 150 | بَلِ اللهُ مَوْلَاكُمْ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّصِرِيْنَ |
| We will cast terror in the hearts of those who disbelieve | سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ | |
| because they associated partners with Allah (SWT) whereof He sent not down any authority about it | بِمَآ أَشْرِكُوا بِاللهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا | |
| and their abode will be the fire and wretched is the abode of the wrongdoers | 151 | وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| and certainly Allah (SWT) fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing them by His permission | وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُمْ بِإِذْنِهِ | |
| until when you lost courage and fell to dispute about the order | حَتَّى إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الأَمْرِ | |
| and you disobeyed from after what He showed you what you love | وَعَصَيْتُمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ مَآ أَرَاكُمْ مّا تُحِبُّوْنَ | |
| among you are who want the world and among you are who want the hereafter | مِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُرِيْدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُرِيْدُ الآخِرَةَ | |
| then He diverted you from them so that He may test you | ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ | |
| and surely, He forgave you and Allah (SWT) is the possessor of bounty for the believers | 152 | وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْكُمْ وَاللهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| when you were running uphill and not casting a glance at anyone | إِذْ تُصْعِدُوْنَ وَلَا تَلْوُوْنَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ | |
| while the messenger was calling you from behind you | وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوْكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ | |
| So, He rewarded you with distress upon distress so that not you grieve over what escaped you | فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ | |
| and not what befell you and Allah (SWT) is All-Aware of what you do | 153 | وَلَا مَآ أَصَابَكُمْ وَاللهُ خَبِيْرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| then He sent down security to you from after the distress | ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ بَعْدِ الغَمِّ أَمَنَةً | |
| slumber overcame a party of you while a group certainly worried them their selves | نُّعَاسًا يَغْشَى طَآئِفَةً مِّنْكُمْ وَطَآئِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ | |
| thinking about Allah (SWT) other than the truth, the thought of ignorance | يَظُنُّوْنَ بِاللهِ غَيْرَ الحَقِّ ظَنَّ الجَاهِلِيَّةِ | |
| they say, “Is there for us from the matter anything?” | يَقُوْلُوْنَ هَلْ لَّنَا مِنَ الأَمْرِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ | |
| Say, “Indeed the matter wholly belongs to Allah (SWT)” | قُلْ إِنَّ الأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ | |
| they hide in themselves what not they reveal to you | يُخْفُوْنَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَّا لَا يُبْدُوْنَ لَكَ | |
| they say, “If was for us from the matter anything not we would have been killed here” | يَقُوْلُوْنَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا | |
| Say, “If you were in your homes surely would come out those upon whom death was decreed | قُلْ لَّوْ كُنْتُمْ فِي بُيُوْتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِيْنَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ القَتْلُ | |
| towards their places of death” but that Allah (SWT) might test what is in your breasts | إِلَى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللهُ مَا فِي صُدُوْرِكُمْ | |
| and that He may purge what is in your hearts and Allah (SWT) is All-Aware of what is in the hearts | 154 | وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِي قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَاللهُ عَلِيْمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ |
| Indeed, those who turned back among you on the day the two met | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ تَوَلَّوا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ التَقَى الجَمْعَانِ | |
| only Satan made them slip due to some of what they earned | إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُوا | |
| and certainly Allah (SWT) forgave them, Surely Allah (SWT) is All-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing | 155 | وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللهُ عَنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ |
| O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تَكُوْنُوا كَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا | |
| and they said about their brothers when they set forth in the earth | وَقَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُوا فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| or they were fighting, “If they had been with us, not they died and not they been killed” | أَوْ كَانُوا غُزًّى لَوْ كَانُوا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوا وَمَا قُتِلُوا | |
| so, Allah (SWT) makes that a regret in their hearts | لِيَجْعَلَ اللهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ | |
| and Allah (SWT) gives life and causes death and Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what you do | 156 | وَاللهُ يُحْيِ وَيُمِيْتُ وَاللهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ |
| and indeed, if you are killed in the way of Allah (SWT) or died | وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ | |
| certainly, forgiveness from Allah (SWT) and His mercy are better than what they amass | 157 | لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ |
| and indeed, if you died or you were killed certainly to Allah (SWT) you will be gathered | 158 | وَلَئِنْ مُّتُّمْ أَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَإِلَى اللهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ |
| so, by that mercy from Allah (SWT) you dealt gently with them | فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ | |
| and had you been rude and harsh hearted surely, they would disperse from around you | وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيْظَ القَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ | |
| then pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter | فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِيْ الأَمْرِ | |
| then when you have decided then place your trust in Allah (SWT) | فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللهِ | |
| Surely, Allah (SWT) loves the ones who place trust (in Him) | 159 | إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ المُتَوَكِّلِيْنَ |
| If Allah (SWT) helps you, then no one can overcome you | إِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ | |
| and if He forsakes you then who is the one who can help you from after Him? | وَإِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ | |
| and upon Allah (SWT) then let the believers place their trust | 160 | وَعَلَى اللهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| and not be for a messenger to defraud | وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ | |
| and whoever defrauds will bring what he defrauded on the day of resurrection | وَمَنْ يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلًّ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| every soul will be repaid in full for what it earned, and they will not be wronged | 161 | تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ |
| Is then he who follows the pleasure of Allah (SWT) like the one who incurs the wrath of Allah (SWT) | أَفَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَ اللهِ كَمَن بَآءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِّنَ اللهِ | |
| their abode is hell and wretched is the destination | 162 | وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ المَصِيْرُ |
| they are in ranks with Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what you do | 163 | هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَاللهُ بَصِيْرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| certainly Allah (SWT) bestowed a favor upon the believers | لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللهُ عَلَى المُؤْمِنِيْنَ | |
| when He raised among them a messenger from themselves | إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيْهِمِ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ | |
| reciting to them His verses and purifying them | يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيْهِمْ | |
| and he teaches them the book and the wisdom | وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الكِتَابَ وَالحِكْمَةَ | |
| although they were from before certainly in clear error | 164 | وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِيْنٍ |
| How, when a disaster strikes you, surely you struck them twice that | أَوَلَمَّآ أَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيْبَةٌ قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ مِثْلَيْهَا | |
| you say, “From where this?” say, “This is from yourselves” | قُلْتُمْ أَنَّى هَذَا قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِكُمْ | |
| indeed, Allah (SWT) is over everything All-Powerful | 165 | إِنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| and what struck you the day the two met | وَمَآ أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ التَقَى الجَمْعَانِ | |
| was by the permission of Allah (SWT) to make evident the believers | 166 | فَبِإِذْنِ اللهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and to make evident those who are hypocrites | وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِيْنَ نَافَقُوا | |
| and it is said to them “Come fight in the way of Allah (SWT) or defend” | وَقِيْلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالُوا قَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُوا | |
| they said, “if we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you” | قَالُوا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالًا لَّاتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ | |
| they that day, disbelieve was nearer to them than faith | هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِيْمَانِ | |
| they say with their mouths what is not in their hearts | يَقُوْلُوْنَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ مَّا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ | |
| and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of what they conceal | 167 | وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُوْنَ |
| those who said about their brothers, while they sat | الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوا | |
| “If they obeyed (listened to) us, not would they have been killed” | لَوْ أَطَاعُوْنَا مَا قُتِلُوا | |
| say, “Then prevent from yourselves, death if you are truthful” | 168 | قُلْ فَادْرَءُوا عَنْ أَنْفُسِكُمُ المَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| and don’t you think those who are killed in the way of Allah (SWT) as dead | وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ أَمْوَاتًا | |
| Nay! they are alive with their Lord given provision | 169 | بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُوْنَ |
| rejoicing in what Allah (SWT) gave them from His bounty | فَرِحِيْنَ بِمَآ ءَاتَاهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ | |
| and they receive good news about those who not joined with them from behind them | وَيَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ بِالَّذِيْنَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ | |
| that no fear on them and not they will grieve | 170 | أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ |
| and they receive good news of favor from Allah (SWT) and bounty | يَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللهِ وَفَضْلٍ | |
| and that Allah (SWT) does not let go to waste the reward of the believers | 171 | وَأَنَّ اللهَ لَا يُضِيْعُ أَجْرَ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| those who responded (answered) Allah (SWT) and the messenger | الَّذِيْنَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُوْلِ | |
| from after what injury struck them | مِن بَعْدِ مَآ أَصَابَهُمُ القَرْحُ | |
| for those who did excellent among them and feared is a great reward | 172 | لِلَّذِيْنَ أَحْسَنُوا مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّقُوا أَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌ |
| those, the people said to them | الَّذِيْنَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ | |
| “Verily the people certainly gathered against you, so fear them” | إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ | |
| but it increased them in faith, and they said, | فَزَادَهُمْ إِيْمَانًا وَقَالُوا | |
| “Sufficient for us is Allah (SWT) and best to entrust (put in charge)” | 173 | حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الوَكِيْلُ |
| so, they returned with favor from Allah (SWT) and bounty, not touched them any harm | فَانْقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَّمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ | |
| and they followed the pleasure of Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is the possessor of great bounty | 174 | وَاتَّبَعُوا رِضْوَانَ اللهِ وَاللهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظِيْمٍ |
| only that Satan frightens his allies | إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَآءَهُ | |
| so, fear them not but fear Me if you are believers | 175 | فَلَا تَخَافُوْهُمْ وَخَافُوْنِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and let not grieve you, those who hasten into disbelieve | وَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِيْنَ يُسَارِعُوْنَ فِي الكُفْرِ | |
| verily, they harm not Allah (SWT) anything | إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللهَ شَيْئًا | |
| Allah (SWT) wishes not that He make for them any portion in the hereafter | يُرِيْدُ اللهُ أَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِي الآخِرَةِ | |
| and for them is a great punishment | 176 | وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ |
| truly those who purchase disbelief with faith | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الكُفْرَ بِالإِيْمَانِ | |
| they harm not Allah (SWT) anything and for them is a painful punishment | 177 | لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللهَ شَيْئًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ |
| and let not those who disbelieved think that what respite We give to them is good for themselves | وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ | |
| only We give respite to them, so they increase in sins | إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُ لِيَزْدَادُوآ إِثْمًا | |
| and for them is a humiliating punishment | 178 | وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ |
| not is Allah (SWT) to leave (forsake) the believers on what you are in it | مَّا كَانَ اللهُ لِيَذَرَ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلَى مَآ أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ | |
| until He separates the bad from the good | حَتَّى يَمِيْزَ الخَبِيْثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ | |
| and not will Allah (SWT) be to inform you about the unseen | وَمَا كَانَ اللهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الغَيْبِ | |
| but Allah (SWT) chooses from His messengers whom He wishes | وَلَاكِنَّ اللهَ يَجْتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
| so, believe in Allah (SWT) and His messengers | فَئَامِنُوا بِاللهِ وَرُسُلِهِ | |
| and if you believe and fear then for you is a great reward | 179 | وَإِنْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌ |
| Those who withhold of what Allah (SWT) gave them of His bounty should not think it is good for them | وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ بِمَآ ءَاتَاهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا | |
| nay, it is bad for them, what they withheld, with it their necks will be encircled on the day of resurrection | لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُوْنَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| and for Allah (SWT) is the heritage of the heavens and the earth and Allah (SWT) is All-Aware of what you do | 180 | وَلِلَّهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ |
| Indeed, Allah (SWT) heard the statement of those who said, “Allah (SWT) is poor while we are rich” | لَقَدْ سَمِعَ اللهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللهَ فَقِيْرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَآءُ | |
| We will record what they said and their killing the prophets without right and We will say, | سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا وَقَتْلَهُمُ الأَنْبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُوْلُ | |
| “Taste the punishment of the burning fire” | 181 | ذُوْقُوا عَذَابَ الحَرِيْقِ |
| that because of what your hands sent forth and Allah (SWT) He is not oppressive to His slaves | 182 | ذَلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيْكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيْدِ |
| Those who say, “God made a covenant (promise) to us that not we believe in a messenger | الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَآ أَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُوْلٍ | |
| until he brings us a sacrifice, the fire consumes it” | حَتَّى يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ | |
| say, “Indeed, messengers came to you from before me with clear proofs and with what you speak | قُلْ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِي بِالبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ | |
| then why you killed them if you be truthful” | 183 | فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوْهُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| then if they deny you then indeed, messengers were denied (rejected) from before you | فَإِنْ كَذَّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ | |
| they came with the clear proofs and the scriptures and the enlightening book | 184 | جَآءُو بِالبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالكِتَابِ المُنِيْرِ |
| Every soul will taste death and only you will be paid in full your reward on the day of resurrection | كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ المَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفُّوْنَ أُجُوْرَكُمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| then whoever is drawn away from the fire and admitted to Paradise then surely, he is successful | فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ | |
| and what is the life of the world except enjoyment of the delusion (not reality) | 185 | وَمَا الحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الغُرُوْرِ |
| Indeed, you will be tested in your wealth and yourselves and you will certainly hear from those | لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ | |
| who were given the book from before you and from those who associate, much hurt | أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أَشْرَكُوا أَذًى كَثِيْرًا | |
| and if you are patient and mindful then surely, that is from determined matters | 186 | وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الأُمُوْرِ |
| and when Allah (SWT) took the covenant of those who were given the book | وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللهُ مِيْثَاقَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ | |
| you certainly make it clear to the people and not conceal it then they threw it behind their backs | لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُوْنَهُ فَنَبَذُوْهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُوْرِهِمْ | |
| and they purchased with it a small price and wretched is what they purchase | 187 | وَاشْتَرَوا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُوْنَ |
| Don’t think those who rejoice in what they brought, and they love to be praised for what they did not do | لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَفْرَحُوْنَ بِمَآ أَتَوا وّيُحِبُّوْنَ أَنْ يُحْمَدُوا بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا | |
| then don’t think they will find a place of escape from the punishment and for them is a painful punishment | 188 | فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ العَذَابِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَلِيْمٌ |
| and belongs to Allah (SWT) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and Allah (SWT) is All-Powerful over everything | 189 | وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |
| Surely, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day | إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ | |
| are certainly signs for people of understanding | 190 | لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي الأَلْبَابِ |
| those who remember Allah (SWT) standing and sitting and on their sides | الَّذِيْنَ يَذْكُرُوْنَ اللهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُوْدًا وَعَلَى جُنُوْبِهِمْ | |
| and they ponder (reflect) on the creation of the heavens and earth | وَيَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ فِيْ خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ | |
| “Our Lord! not You created this in vain, Glory be to You so save us from the punishment of the fire” | 191 | رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ |
| “Our Lord! surely whom You admit into the fire then indeed, You disgraced him | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ | |
| and not for the wrongdoers any helpers” | 192 | وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِيْنَ مِنْ أَنْصَارٍ |
| “Our Lord! surely we heard a caller calling to the faith (belief) that “believe in your Lord” so we believed | رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيْمَانِ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَئَامَنَّا | |
| “Our Lord! so forgive for us our sins and remove from us our evil deeds and cause us to die with the righteous” | 193 | رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الأَبْرَارِ |
| “Our Lord! grant us what you promised us through your messengers and don’t disgrace us on the day of judgement” | رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| surely, You do not break the promise” | 194 | إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ المِيْعَادَ |
| So, their Lord responded to them, “Indeed I will not let go to waste deeds of the doer among you from male or | فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّي لَآ أُضِيْعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ | |
| female, each of you from other so, those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes | أُنْثَى بَعْضُكُم مِّنْ بَعْضٍ فَالَّذِيْنَ هَاجَرُوا وَأُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دَيَارِهِمْ | |
| and were harmed in My way and fought and were killed, I will certainly remove from them their evil deeds | وَأُوْذُوا فِي سَبِيْلِي وَقَاتَلُوا وَقُتِلُوا لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ | |
| and surely, I will admit them into gardens, rivers flowing from underneath them | وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ | |
| a reward from Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) with Him is the best reward” | 195 | ثَوَابًا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ وَاللهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ |
| Let not the going to and from in the land of those who disbelieve deceive you | 196 | لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا فِي البِلَادِ |
| A little enjoyment then their abode is hell, and an evil resting place | 197 | مَتَاعٌ قَلِيْلٌ ثُمَّ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ المِهَادُ |
| however, those who fear their Lord, for them are gardens, rivers flowing underneath them | لَاكِنِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّقُوا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ | |
| they will abide therein forever a hospitality from their Lord and what is with Allah (SWT) is best for the righteous | 198 | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا نُزُلًا مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ وَمَا عِنْدِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ |
| And certainly, from the people of the book surely who believe in Allah (SWT) and what was revealed to you | وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الكِتَابِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ | |
| and what was revealed to them, humbly submissive to Allah (SWT) not they exchange the verses of Allah (SWT) | وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِعِيْنَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُوْنَ بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ | |
| for a small price those, for them, their reward is with their Lord, surely Allah (SWT) is swift in account | 199 | ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا أُوْلَآئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ إِنَّ اللهَ سَرِيْعُ الحِسَابِ |
| O you who believe! be patient and be patient with one another and be firm for one another | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا | |
| and fear Allah (SWT) so that you may succeed | 200 | وَتَّقُوا اللهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ |
