Chapter 10
Chapter 10 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Yunus – سُوْرَةُ يُوْنُسَ – Jonah)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 11 / Chapter 10 | Chapter 10 / يَعْتَذِرُوْنَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ | |
| Alif-Lam-Ra | ا ل ر | |
| These are the verses of the wise Book | 1 | تِلْكَ ءَايَاتُ الكِتَابِ الحَكِيْمِ |
| Is it for the people a wonder that We revealed to a man among them that, “warn the people | أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنْذِرِ النَّاسَ | |
| and give glad tidings to those who believe that for them is a respectable position with their Lord?” | وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ | |
| The disbelievers said, “Truly, this is a clear (obvious) magician” | 2 | قَالَ الكَافِرُوْنَ إِنَّ هَذَا لَسَاحِرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ |
| Surely, your Lord is Allah (SWT) the One who created the heavens and the earth in six days (periods) | إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ | |
| then He established on the throne disposing the affairs, not from any intercessor | ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى العَرْشِ يُدَبِّرُ الأَمْرَ مَا مِنْ شَفِيْعٍ | |
| except after His permission, that is Allah (SWT) your Lord so worship Him, then will you not remember? | 3 | إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِ ذَلِكُمُ اللهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْهُ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ |
| To Him will be your return, all, the promise of Allah (SWT) is true, indeed, He originates the creation | إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيْعًا وَعْدَ اللهِ حَقًّا إِنَّهُ يَبْدَؤُوا الخَلْقَ | |
| then He repeats it that He may reward those who believe and did the righteous deeds in justice | ثُمَّ يُعِيْدُهُ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ بِالقِسْطِ | |
| but those who disbelieved, for them is a drink of boiling fluids and a painful punishment | وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيْمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيْمٌ | |
| because they used to disbelieve | 4 | بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُوْنَ |
| He is the One who made the sun a shining light and the moon a (reflected) light and determined for it, phases | هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَآءً وَالقَمَرَ نُوْرًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ | |
| that you may know the number of the years and the count (of time), Allah (SWT) created not that except in truth | لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِيْنَ وَالحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا بِالحَقِّ | |
| He explains the signs for a people who know | 5 | يُفَصِّلُ الئَايَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and what Allah (SWT) created | إِنَّ فِي اخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللهُ | |
| in the heavens and the earth are certainly signs for a people who are mindful (God-conscious, fear) | 6 | فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ لَئَايَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُوْنَ |
| Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are pleased with the worldly life | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَآءَنَا وَرَضُوا بِالحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا | |
| and feel satisfied with it and those who, they are heedless of Our signs | 7 | وَاطْمَأَنُّوا بِهَا وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ ءَايَاتِنَا غَافِلُوْنَ |
| Those, their abode is the fire because of what they used to earn | 8 | أُوْلَآئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُوْنَ |
| Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, their Lord guides them | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ يَهْدِيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ | |
| by their faith, rivers flow from underneath them in the gardens of delight | 9 | بِإِيْمَانِهِمْ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الأَنْهَارُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيْمِ |
| Their prayer therein (will be) “Glory be to You, O Allah (SWT)” and their greeting therein “Peace” | دَعْوَاهُمْ فِيْهَا سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيْهَا سَلَامٌ | |
| and the last of their call will be that “All the praises and thanks belong to Allah (SWT) Lord of the worlds” | 10 | وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِيْنَ |
| and if Allah (SWT) hastens for the people the evil as He hastens for them the good | وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ اللهُ لِلنَّاسِ الشَّرَّ اسْتِعْجَا لَهُمْ بِالخَيْرِ | |
| surely, their term would have been decreed for them, but We leave those who do not expect the meeting with Us | لَقُضِيَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ فَنَذَرُ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَآءَنَا | |
| in their transgression, wandering blindly | 11 | فِيْ طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ |
| and when harm touches man, he calls Us lying on his side or sitting or standing | وَإِذَا مَسَّ الإِنْسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنْبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا | |
| but when We remove from him his affliction he passes on as if he had not called Us for the affliction that touched him | فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَآ إِلَى ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُ | |
| likewise, it is made fair seeming to the extravagant what they used to do | 12 | كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِيْنَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| and verily, We destroyed the generations from before you when they wronged, and their Messengers came to them | وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا القُرُوْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ | |
| with clear proofs but not they were to believe likewise We recompense the criminal people | 13 | بِالبَيِّنَاتِ وَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي القَوْمَ المُجْرِمِيْنَ |
| Then We made you successors in the earth after them | ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ خَلَآئِفَ فِي الأَرْضِ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ | |
| so that We may see how you do | 14 | لِنَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| and when Our signs are recited to them as clear proofs, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us say, | وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَآءَنَا | |
| “Bring us a Quran other than this or change it” say, “not it is for me that I change it | ائْتِ بِقُرْءَانٍ غَيْرِ هَذَآ أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قُلْ مَا يَكُوْنُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ | |
| of my own accord, not I follow except what is revealed to me | مِنْ تِلْقَآئِ نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوْحَى إِلَيَّ | |
| indeed, I fear if I were to disobey my Lord, a punishment of a great day” | 15 | إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ |
| Say, “If Allah (SWT) willed not I would have recited it to you and not He would have made it known to you | قُل لَّوْ شَآءَ اللهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَدْرَاكُمْ بِهِ | |
| verily, I have stayed among you a lifetime before it, then will not you use reason?” | 16 | فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيْكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّنْ قَبْلِهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| so, who is more wrong than he who invents against Allah (SWT) a lie or denies His signs? | فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِئَايَاتِهِ | |
| surely, he, not will succeed, the criminals | 17 | إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ المُجْرِمُوْنَ |
| and they worship from other than Allah (SWT) that which does not harm them and not benefit them | وَيَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ | |
| and they say, “those are our intercessors with Allah (SWT)” say, “Do you inform Allah (SWT) of what not He knows | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ هَآؤُلَآءِ شُفَعَآؤُنَا عِنْدَ اللهِ قُلْ أَتُنَبِّئُوْنَ اللهَ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ | |
| in the heavens and not in the earth?” Glorified is He and Exalted above what they associate | 18 | فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الأَرْضِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ |
| and not was mankind but one community, then they differed and had it not been a word preceded | وَمَا كَانَ النَّاسُ إِلَّآ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَاخْتَلَفُوا وَلَوْ لَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ | |
| from your Lord surely, it would have been judged between them concerning what therein they differ | 19 | مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيْمَا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| and they say, “Why not is sent down to him a sign from his Lord?” so, say, “Only the unseen | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ لَوْ لَآ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا الغَيْبُ | |
| is for Allah (SWT) so wait, indeed, I am with you among the ones who wait” | 20 | لِلَّهِ فَانْتَظِرُوا إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ المُنْتَظِرِيْنَ |
| and when We cause mankind to taste mercy from after adversity has touched them behold! they have a plot | وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّن بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ | |
| against Our verses, say, “Allah (SWT) is more swift in planning” indeed, Our Messengers write down what you plot | 21 | فِي ءَايَاتِنَا قُلِ اللهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُوْنَ مَا تَمْكُرُوْنَ |
| He is the One who enables you to travel in the land and the sea until when you are in the ships | هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي البَرِّ وَالبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِي الفُلْكِ | |
| and they sail with them with a good wind, and they rejoice therein, a stormy wind comes to them | وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيْحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيْحٌ عَاصِفٌ | |
| and the waves come to them from every place, and they think they are surrounded by them, they call Allah (SWT) | وَجَآءَهُمُ المَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيْطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُا اللهَ | |
| sincerely to Him in the religion “if You save us from this surely, we will be among the thankful” | 22 | مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ لَئِنْ أَنْجَيْنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ |
| but when He saved them behold! they rebel in the earth without right | فَلَمَّآ أَنْجَاهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الحَقِّ | |
| O people! only your rebellion is against yourselves, enjoyment of the life of the world | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُم مَّتَاعَ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا | |
| then to Us is your return then We will inform you of what you used to do | 23 | ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| Only the example of the life of the world is like water which We sent down from the sky | إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَآءٍ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ | |
| so, the plants of the earth absorb it from which the men and the cattle eat until | فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالأَنْعَامُ حَتَّى | |
| when the earth takes its adornment and is beautified, and its people think | إِذَآ أَخَذَتِ الأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَآ | |
| that they have the power over it, Our command comes to it night or day | أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُوْنَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَاهَآ أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا | |
| and We make it a harvest clean mown as if not it had flourished yesterday | فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيْدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالأَمْسِ | |
| thus, We explain the signs for a people who reflect | 24 | كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الئَايَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ |
| and Allah (SWT) calls to the home of peace | وَاللهُ يَدْعُوا إِلَى دَارِ السَّلَامِ | |
| and He guides whom He wishes to the straight path | 25 | وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ |
| For those who do good is the best and more and not dust will cover their faces | لِلَّذِيْنَ أَحْسَنُوا الحُسْنَى وَزِيَادَةٌ وَلَا يَرْهَقُ وُجُوْهَهُمْ قَتَرٌ | |
| nor humiliation, those are the companions of Paradise, they will abide in it forever | 26 | وَلَا ذِلَّةٌ أُوْلَآئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الجَنَّةِ هُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ |
| and those who earned the evil deeds, the recompense of an evil deed is like it and humiliation will cover them | وَالَّذِيْنَ كَسَبُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ | |
| not for them from Allah (SWT) any defender as if their faces had been covered from | مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ اللهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوْهُهُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ | |
| the darkness of the night, those are the companions of the fire, they will abide in it forever | 27 | الَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا أُوْلَآئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيْهَا خَالِدُوْنَ |
| and the day We will gather them all together then We will say to those who associate partners, “Your place, you | وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ نَقُوْلُ لِلَّذِيْنَ أَشْرَكُوا مَكَانَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ | |
| and your partners” then We will separate between them, and their partners will say, “not you used to worship us” | 28 | وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَقَالَ شُرَكَآؤُهُم مَّا كُنْتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ |
| So, sufficient is Allah (SWT) as a witness between us and between you that we were of your worship certainly unaware | 29 | فَكَفَى بِاللهِ شَهِيْدًا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِنْ كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَافِلِيْنَ |
| There every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah (SWT) their Lord, the true | هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُوا كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّآ أَسْلَفَتْ وَرُدُّوا إِلَى اللهِ مَوْلَاهُمُ الحَقِّ | |
| and what they used to invent will be lost from them | 30 | وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُوْنَ |
| Say, “Who provides for you from the sky and the earth? or who controls the hearing and | قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَالأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ السَّمْعَ | |
| the sight? and who brings out the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead | وَالأَبْصَارَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ الحَيَّ مِنَ المَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ المَيِّتَ | |
| from the living? and who disposes the affairs?” then they will say, “Allah (SWT)” then say, “Will you then not fear?” | 31 | مِنَ الحَيِّ وَمَنْ يُدَبِّرُ الأَمْرَ فَسَيَقُوْلُوْنَ اللهُ فَقُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ |
| So, that is Allah (SWT) your Lord, the true so, what (can be) after the truth except the error? | فَذَلِكُمُ اللهُ رَبُّكُمُ الحَقُّ فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ الحَقِّ إِلَّا الضَّلَالُ | |
| so, how are you turned away? | 32 | فَأَنَّى تُصْرَفُوْنَ |
| Thus, the word of your Lord is proved true upon those who defiantly disobeyed that they will not believe | 33 | كَذَلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ فَسَقُوا أَنَّهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| Say, “Is from your partners any that originates the creation then repeats it? | قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبْدَؤُا الخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيْدُهُ | |
| say, “Allah (SWT) originates the creation then repeats it so, how are you deluded?” | 34 | قُلِ اللهُ يَبْدَؤُا الخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيْدُهُ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُوْنَ |
| Say, “Is from your partners any who guides to the truth?” | قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الحَقِّ | |
| say, “Allah (SWT) guides to the truth, is then who guides to the truth more worthy that He should be followed or he who | قُلِ اللهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن | |
| does not guide except that he is guided? then what is for you how you judge?” | 35 | لَّا يَهْدِي إِلَّآ أَن يُهْدَي فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُوْنَ |
| and most of them follow not but assumption indeed, the assumption does not avail anything against the truth | وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَنَّا إِنَّ الظَّنَ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الحَقِّ شَيْئًا | |
| indeed, Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of what they do | 36 | إِنَّ اللهَ عَلِيْمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ |
| and not is this, the Quran that can be produced by other than Allah (SWT) but | وَمَا كَانَ هَذَا القُرْءَانُ أَن يُفْتَرَى مِن دُوْنِ اللهِ وَلَاكِن | |
| it is a confirmation of what is between their hands and a detailed explanation of the book wherein there is no doubt | تَصْدِيْقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيْلَ الكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيْهِ | |
| from the Lord of the worlds | 37 | مِن رَّبِّ العَالَمِيْنَ |
| or do they say, “He has invented it?” say, “then bring a verse like it | أَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّثْلِهِ | |
| and call whoever you can from besides Allah (SWT) if you are truthful” | 38 | وَادْعُوا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| Nay, they deny what not they could encompass of its knowledge and not has come to them its interpretation | بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيْطُوا بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيْلُهُ | |
| thus, those from before them denied then, see how the end of the wrongdoers was | 39 | كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| and among them is he who believes in it and among them is who believes not in it | وَمِنْهُم مَّن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ | |
| and your Lord is All-Knower of the corrupters | 40 | وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِالمُفْسِدِيْنَ |
| and if they deny you then say, “For me my deeds and for you your deeds | وَإِنْ كَذَّبُوْكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ | |
| you disassociated from what I do, and I disassociated from what you do” | 41 | أَنْتُمْ بَرِيْئُوْنَ مِمَّآ أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَاْ بَرِيْءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| and among them are some who listen to you, but can you cause the deaf to hear? | وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُوْنَ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنْتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ | |
| even though they do not use reason? | 42 | وَلَوْ كَانُوا لَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| and among them are who look at you, but can you guide the blind? | وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنْتَ تَهْدِي العُمْيَ | |
| even though they do not, see? | 43 | وَلَوْ كَانُوا لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ |
| Indeed, Allah (SWT) does not wrong the people anything, but the people wrong their own selves | 44 | إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا وَلَاكِنَّ النَّاسَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ |
| and the day He will gather them as if they had not remained except an hour of the day | وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ | |
| they will recognize each other between them certainly, those who denied the meeting with Allah (SWT) lost | يَتَعَارَفُوْنَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوا بِلِقَآءِ اللهِ | |
| and not they were the guided ones | 45 | وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِيْنَ |
| and whether We show you some of that which We promised them or We cause you to die then to Us is their return | وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ يَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ | |
| then Allah (SWT) is a witness over what they do | 46 | ثُمَّ اللهُ شَهِيْدٌ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ |
| and for every nation is a Messenger so, when their Messenger comes it will be judged between them in justice | وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُوْلٌ فَإِذَا جَآءَ رَسُوْلُهُمْ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالقِسْطِ | |
| and they will not be wronged | 47 | وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ |
| and they say, “When this promise, if you are truthful?” | 48 | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتَى هَذَا الوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
| Say, “Not I have the power for myself any harm or any profit except what Allah (SWT) wishes | قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللهُ | |
| for every nation is a term, when their term comes then not, they remain behind an hour | لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَئْخِرُوْنَ سَاعَةً | |
| and not they can precede (it)? | 49 | وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ |
| Say, “Do you see if His punishment comes to you by night or by day, what | قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُهُ بَيَاتًا أَوْ نَهَارًا مَّاذَا | |
| of it the criminals can hasten?” | 50 | يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ المُجْرِمُوْنَ |
| Is it then when it occurred you will believe in it? Now? and certainly you were seeking to hasten it | 51 | أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنْتُمْ بِهِ ءَآلْئَانَ وَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ |
| then it will be said to those who wronged, “taste the punishment, everlasting | ثُمَّ قِيْلَ لِلَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوا ذُوْقُوا عَذَابَ الخُلْدِ | |
| are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?” | 52 | هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْسِبُوْنَ |
| and they ask you to inform, “is it true?” say, “Yes, by my Lord! certainly, it is indeed, true | وَيَسْتَنْبِئُوْنَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ قُلْ إِي وَرَبِّي إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ | |
| and not you can escape | 53 | وَمَآ أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِيْنَ |
| and if that for every soul wronged, whatever is in the earth, it would seek, to ransom with it | وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِي الأَرْضِ لَأَفْتَدَتْ بِهِ | |
| and they will confide the regret when they see the punishment but, will be judged between them in justice | وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا العَذَابَ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالقِسْطِ | |
| and they will not be wronged | 54 | وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ |
| No doubt, indeed, for Allah (SWT) whatever is in the heavens and the earth | أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ | |
| no doubt, indeed, the promise of Allah (SWT) is true but most of them do not know | 55 | أَلَآ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللهِ حَقٌّ وَلَاكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| He gives life and causes death and to Him you will be returned | 56 | هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ |
| O people! verily has come to you an instruction from your Lord and a healing | يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌ | |
| for what is in your breasts and a guidance and a mercy for the believers | 57 | لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُوْرِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| Say, “In the bounty of Allah (SWT) and in His mercy so, in that let them rejoice | قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا | |
| it is better than what they accumulate” | 58 | هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ |
| Say, “Have you seen what Allah (SWT) sent down to you of provision then you made of it unlawful | قُلْ أَرَئَيْتُم مَّآ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ لَكُم مِن رِّزْقٍ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًا | |
| and lawful?” say, “Has Allah (SWT) permitted for you or about Allah (SWT) you invent lies?” | 59 | وَحَلَالًا قُلْ ءَآللهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ أَمْ عَلَى اللهِ تَفْتَرُوْنَ |
| and what will those think, who invent the lies about Allah (SWT), on the day of judgement? | وَمَا ظَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَفْتَرُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ الكَذِبَ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ | |
| indeed, Allah (SWT) is full of bounty to the people but most of them are not grateful | 60 | إِنَّ اللهَ لَذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَاكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ |
| and not you are in any situation and not you recite of it from the Quran | وَمَا تَكُوْنُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُوا مِنْهُ مِنْ قُرْءَانٍ | |
| and not you do any deed except We are over you witness when you are engaged in it | وَلَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُوْدًا إِذْ تُفِيْضُوْنَ فِيهِ | |
| and not escapes from your Lord of the weight of an atom in the earth and not in | وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي | |
| the heavens and not smaller than that and not greater but is in a clear record | 61 | السَّمَآءِ وَلَا أَصْغَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِيْ كِتَابٍ مُّبِيْنٍ |
| No doubt! indeed, the friends of Allah (SWT) no fear on them and not will they grieve | 62 | أَلَآ إِنَّ أَوْلِيَآءَ اللهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ |
| those who believed and were God-conscious (mindful-feared) | 63 | الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُوْنَ |
| For them are the glad tidings in the life of the world and in the hereafter | لَهُمُ البُشْرَى فِيْ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِيْ الئَاخِرَةِ | |
| no change in the words of Allah (SWT), that, it is the great success | 64 | لَا تَبْدِيْلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الفَوْزُ العَظِيْمُ |
| and let not grieve you their speech, indeed, the honor belongs to Allah (SWT), all, He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing | 65 | وَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّ العِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيْعًا هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ العَلِيْمُ |
| No doubt! indeed, to Allah (SWT) belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth | أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| and do not follow those who invoke partners from other than Allah (SWT) | وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِيْنَ يَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ شُرَكَآءَ | |
| not they follow but the assumption and not they but guess | 66 | إِن يَتَّبِعُوْنَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُوْنَ |
| He is the One who made for you the night that you may rest in it and the day giving visibility | هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيْهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا | |
| indeed, in that are surely, signs for a people who listen (hear) | 67 | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَئَايَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُوْنَ |
| They say, “Allah (SWT) has taken a son” Glory be to Him! He is Self-Sufficient (Rich-Free of needs) | قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الغَنِيُّ | |
| belongs to Him whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth | لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| not you have any authority for this, do you say about Allah (SWT) what not you know? | 68 | إِنْ عِنْدَكُم مِّنْ سُلْطَانٍ بِهَذَآ أَتَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Say, “indeed, those who invent against Allah (SWT) the lie, not they will succeed | 69 | قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَفْتَرُوْنَ عَلَى اللهِ الكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُوْنَ |
| An enjoyment in the world then, to Us is their return then, We will cause them to taste the severe punishment | مَتَاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيْقُهُمُ العَذَابَ الشَّدِيْدَ | |
| because they used to disbelieve | 70 | بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُوْنَ |
| and recite to them the news of Nuh (AS) when he said to his people, O my people! | وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوْحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ | |
| If is hard on you my stay and my reminding of the signs of Allah (SWT) | إِنْ كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيْرِي بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ | |
| then upon Allah (SWT) I put my trust so, you all put together your plan and your partners | فَعَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوا أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْ | |
| then let not be in your plan for you any doubt then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite | 71 | ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوا إِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنْظِرُوْنَ |
| But if you turn away then not haveو I asked you any reward, not is my reward but on Allah (SWT) | فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللهِ | |
| and I have been commanded that I be of the ones who submit” | 72 | وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُوْنَ مِنَ المُسْلِمِيْنَ |
| But they denied him so, We saved him and who were with him in the ship, and We made them successors | فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ خَلَآئِفَ | |
| and We drowned those who denied Our signs | وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوا بِئَايَاتِنَا | |
| then see howو the end of those was, who were warned | 73 | فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ المُنْذَرِيْنَ |
| Then We sent from after him, Messengers to their people so, they came to them with clear proofs | ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوْهُمْ بِالبَيِّنَاتِ | |
| but not they were to believe what they had denied in it from before | فَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِمَا كَذَّبُوا بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ | |
| thus, We seal on the hearts of the transgressors | 74 | كَذَلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلُوْبِ المُعْتَدِيْنَ |
| Then We sent from after them, Musa (AS) and Haroon (AS) to Firaun and his chiefs | ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِم مُوْسَى وَهَارُوْنَ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِ | |
| with Our signs but they were arrogant and were a criminal people | 75 | بِئَايَاتِنَا فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِيْنَ |
| So, when the truth came to them from Us they said, “indeed, this is surely, clear magic” | 76 | فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ الحَقُّ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا قَالُوا إِنَّ هَذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ |
| Musa (AS) said, “Do you say about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? | قَالَ مُوْسَى أَتَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَكُمْ أَسِحْرٌ هَذَا | |
| but the magicians will not succeed” | 77 | وَلَا يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُوْنَ |
| They said, “have you come to us to turn us away from that we found on it our fathers | قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَا وَتَكُوْنَ | |
| and you two have the greatness in the land? and we are not believers in you two | 78 | لَكُمَا الكِبْرِيَآءُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and Firaun said, “bring to me every learned magician” | 79 | وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ائْتُوْنِي بِكُلِّ سَاحِرٍ عَلِيْمٍ |
| So, when the magicians came, Musa (AS) said to them, “Throw what you want to throw” | 80 | فَلَمَّا جَآءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُوْسَى أَلْقُوا مَآ أَنْتُم مُّلْقُوْنَ |
| So, when they threw, Musa (AS) said, “what you have brought with it is the magic indeed, Allah (SWT) will nullify it | فَلَمَّآ أَلْقُوا قَالَ مُوْسَى مَا جِئْتُمْ بِهِ السِّحْرُ إِنَّ اللهَ سَيُبْتِلُهُ | |
| indeed, Allah (SWT) does not prosper the work of the corrupters” | 81 | إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ المُفْسِدِيْنَ |
| and Allah (SWT) will establish the truth by His words even if the criminals dislike it” | 82 | وَيُحِقُّ اللهُ الحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ المُجْرِمِيْنَ |
| but none believed Musa (AS) except his offspring among his people for fear of Firaun | فَمَآ ءَامَنَ لِمُوْسَى إِلَّا ذُرِّيَّةٌ مِّنَ قَوْمِهِ عَلَى خَوْفٍ مِّن فِرْعَوْنَ | |
| and their chiefs lest they persecute them and indeed, Firaun was a tyrant in the earth | وَمَلَإِيْهِمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ لَعَالٍ فِي الأَرْضِ | |
| and indeed, he was of the ones who commit excess | 83 | وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ المُسْرِفِيْنَ |
| and Musa (AS) said, “O my people! if you have believed in Allah (SWT) then on Him put your trust | وَقَالَ مُوْسَى يَا قَوْمِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ ءَامَنْتُمْ بِاللهِ فَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلُوا | |
| if you are ones who submit” | 84 | إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُسْلِمِيْنَ |
| Then they said, “Upon Allah (SWT) we put our trust, our Lord! do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people | 85 | فَقَالُوا عَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people” | 86 | وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ القَوْمِ الكَافِرِيْنَ |
| and We inspired to Musa (AS) and his brother that, “settle your people in Egypt in houses | وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَى مُوْسَى وَأَخِيْهِ أَنْ تَبَوَّءَا لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوْتًا | |
| and make your houses as places of worship and establish the prayer and give glad tidings to the believers” | 87 | وَاجْعَلُوا بُيُوْتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً وَأَقِيْمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَبَشِّرِ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and Musa (AS) said, “Our Lord! indeed, you have given Firaun and his chiefs splendor and wealth | وَقَالَ مُوْسَى رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ ءَاتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِيْنَةً وَأَمْوَالًا | |
| in the life of the world, Our Lord! that they may lead astray from your way, Our Lord! destroy | فِي الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيْلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ | |
| on their wealth and harden on their hearts so, that not they believe until they see | عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى يَرَوُا | |
| the painful punishment” | 88 | العَذَابَ الأَلِيْمَ |
| He said, “Verily the invocation of both of you has been answered so, you two keep to the straightway | قَالَ قَدْ أُجِيْبَتْ دَّعْوَتُكُمَا فَاسْتَقِيْمَا | |
| and do not follow the way of those who do not know” | 89 | وَلَا تَتَّبِعَآنِّ سَبِيْلَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| and We took the children of Israel across the sea and Firaun and his hosts followed them | وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَآءِيْلَ البَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُوْدُهُ | |
| in rebellion and enmity until when the drowning overtook him, he said, “I believe that | بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنْتُ أَنَّهُ | |
| there is no God except the One who the children of Israel believe in Him and I am of the ones who submit” | 90 | لَآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي ءَامَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُوآ إِسْرَآئِيْلَ وَأَنَاْ مِنَ المُسْلِمِيْنَ |
| Now? and indeed, you disobeyed before, and you were of the corrupters?” | 91 | ءَآلئَانَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنْتَ مِنَ المُفْسِدِيْنَ |
| So, today We will save you in your body that you may be for who succeed you, a sign | فَاليَوْمَ نُنَجِّيْكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُوْنَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ ءَايَةً | |
| and indeed, many among the people are surely, heedless of Our signs” | 92 | وَإِنَّ كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ ءَايَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُوْنَ |
| and verily, We settled the children of Israel in a settlement of honor and We provided them with the good things | وَلَقَدْ بَوَّأْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَآءِيْلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْقٍ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ | |
| and not they differ until the knowledge came to them indeed, your Lord will judge between them | فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوا حَتَّى جَآءَهُمُ العِلْمُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ | |
| on the day of resurrection concerning what they used to differ in it | 93 | يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ فِيْمَا كَانُوا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| So, if you are in doubt of what We revealed to you then ask those who read | فَإِنْ كُنْتَ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّآ أَنْزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ فَسْئَلِ الَّذِيْنَ يَقْرَءُوْنَ | |
| the book from before you verily, the truth has come to you from your Lord | الكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَقَدْ جَآءَكَ الحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ | |
| so, do not be among the doubters | 94 | فَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ المُمْتَرِيْنَ |
| and do not be of those who deny the signs of Allah (SWT) then you will be among the losers | 95 | وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوا بِئَايَاتِ اللهِ فَتَكُوْنَ مِنَ الخَاسِرِيْنَ |
| Indeed, those whom the word of your Lord has become due on them, will not believe | 96 | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| even if every sign comes to them until they see the painful punishment | 97 | وَلَوْ جَآءَتْهُمْ كُلُّ ءَايَةٍ حَتَّى يَرَوُا العَذَابَ الأَلِيْمَ |
| So, why was there not a town that believed and benefitted it, its faith except the people of Yunus (AS) | فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ ءَامَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَآ إِيْمَانُهَآ إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُوْنُسَ | |
| when they believed We removed from them the punishment of the disgrace in the worldly life | لَمَّآ ءَامَنُوا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الخِزْيِ فِي الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا | |
| and We granted them enjoyment for a while | 98 | وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِيْنٍ |
| and had your Lord willed surely, would have believed, all of them together who are in the earth | وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَئامَنَ مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيْعًا | |
| then will you compel the mankind until they become believers? | 99 | أَفَأَنْتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَكُوْنُوا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and not is for a soul to believe except by the permission of Allah (SWT) | وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللهِ | |
| and He will place the wrath on those who do not use reason | 100 | وَيَجْعَلُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ |
| Say, “See! what is in the heavens and the earth” | قُلِ انْظُرُوا مَاذَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ | |
| but the signs and the warners will not avail a people who do not believe | 101 | وَمَا تُغْنِي الئَايَاتُ وَالنُّذُرُ عَنْ قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| Then do they wait except like the days of those who passed away from before them? | فَهَلْ يَنْتَظِرُوْنَ إِلَّا مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ الَّذِيْنَ خَلَوا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ | |
| say, “then wait indeed, I am with you among the ones who wait” | 102 | قُلْ فَانْتَظِرُوا إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ المُنْتَظِرِيْنَ |
| Then We will save Our Messengers and those who believe thus, an obligation upon Us that We save the believers | 103 | ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا كَذَلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنْجِ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| Say, “O people! if you are in doubt of my religion, | قُلْ يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّنْ دِيْنِي | |
| then, I do not worship those whom you worship from besides Allah (SWT), but I worship Allah (SWT), the One who | فَلَآ أَعْبُدُ الَّذِيْنَ تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ وَلَاكِنْ أَعْبُدُ اللهَ الَّذِي | |
| causes you to die, and I am commanded, that I be of the believers” | 104 | يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُوْنَ مِنَ المُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| and that “Direct your face to the religion, upright and do not be of the polytheists | 105 | وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّيْنِ حَنِيْفًا وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ |
| and do not invoke besides Allah (SWT) what will not benefit you and not harm you | وَلَا تَدْعُ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ | |
| but if you did so then indeed, you then will be of the wrongdoers” | 106 | فَإِنْ فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
| and if Allah (SWT) touches you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him | وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ | |
| and if He intends for you any good, then there is no repeller of His bounty | وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ | |
| He causes it to reach whom He wills of His slaves, and He is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | 107 | يُصِيْبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
| Say, “O people! verily, has come to you, the truth from your Lord | قُلْ يَآ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُمُ الحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ | |
| so, whoever is guided then only he is guided for his own soul | فَمَنِ اهْتَدَى فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ | |
| and whoever goes astray then only he strays against it (own soul) and I am not over you, a guardian | 108 | وَمَنْ ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَمَآ أَنَاْ عَلَيْكُمْ بِوَكِيْلٍ |
| and follow what is revealed to you and be patient until Allah (SWT) gives judgement | وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوْحَى إِلَيْكَ وَاصْبِرْ حَتَّى يَحْكُمَ اللهُ | |
| and He is the best of those who judge | 109 | وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الحَاكِمِيْنَ |
