After salaat
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ |
It was narrated that Aishah (RA) said, “when the Prophet (SAW) had said the salaam, he only sat for as long as | حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُ إِذَا سَلَّمَ لَمْ يَقْعُدْ إِلَّا مِقْدَارَ |
it takes to say “O Allah (SWT) You are the One who is Free from all defects and from You is all Peace | مَا يَقُوْلُ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ |
blessed are You, Possessor of Majesty and Honor” | تَبَارَكْتَ ذَا الجَلَالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ نَمَيْرٍ يَا ذَا الجَلَالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ |

It is recommended to recite statements of remembrance after the prayer and how it is done
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ |
Hisham (RA) narrated that Abu Az-Zubair (RA) said, “Ibn Az-Zubair used to say following every prayer, after he had said | حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُوْلُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةِ حِيْنَ |
the taslim “There is none worthy of worship but Allah (SWT) alone, with no partner or associate. His is the Dominion | يُسَلِّمُ لَا إِلَاهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ المُلْكُ |
to Him be praise and He is able to do all things. There is no power and no strength except with Allah (SWT) | وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ |
There is none worthy of worship, but Allah (SWT) and we worship none but Him. To Him belong all grace and favor | لَا إِلَاهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ لَهُ النَّعْمَةُ وَلَهُ الفَضْلُ |
and to Him be glorious praise. There is none worthy of worship, but Allah (SWT) and we are sincere in faith to Him | وَلَهُ الثَّنَآءُ الحَسَنُ لَا إِلَاهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ |
even though the disbelievers may detest it” He said, ‘the Messenger (SAW) of Allah (SWT) used to recite these words | وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الكَافِرُوْنَ وَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُ يُهَلِّلُ بَهِنَّ |
following every prayer’ | دُبُرَ كُلَّ صَلَاةٍ |

the Messenger (SAW) of Allah (SWT) used to recite these words following every prayer
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ |
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) from the Messenger (SAW) of Allah (SWT) “Whoever glorifies Allah (SWT) | عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُ مَنْ سَبَّحَ للهَ |
thirty-three times after every prayer and praises Allah (SWT) thirty-three times | فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِيْنَ وَحَمِدَ اللهَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِيْنَ |
and extols Allah (SWT’s) greatness thirty-three times, making ninety-nine and completes it by saying | وَكَبَّرَ اللهَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِيْنَ فَتِلْكَ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُوْنَ وَقَالَ تَمَامَ المِائَةِ |
‘There is none worthy of worship but Allah (SWT) alone, with no partner, His is the Dominion, to Him be praise | لَا إِلَاهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ |
and He is able to do all things’ his sins will be forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea | وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ غُفِّرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَيْدِ البَحْرِ |

The vastness of Allah (SWT’s) mercy which prevails over His Wrath | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ |
Abu Hurairah (RA) said, | قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُ |
“I heard the Messenger (SAW) of Allah (SWT) say, ‘Allah (SWT) made mercy in one hundred parts and He kept ninety-nine | |
parts with Him, and He sent one part down to earth, from which all creatures show compassion to one another, and animals | |
even lift their hooves lest they harm their young'” | |
