Chapter 92
Chapter 92 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Al-Lail – سُوْرَةُ الَّيْلِ – The night)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 30 / Chapter 92 | Chapter 92 / عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُوْنَ | |
| By the night as it envelopes | 1 | وَالَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى |
| and the day when it is revealed | 2 | وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى |
| and He who created the male and the female | 3 | وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى |
| undoubtedly your efforts are most diverse | 4 | إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّى |
| so as for who gives, and he fears | 5 | فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى |
| and believes in the best | 6 | وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى |
| then We will facilitate him towards ease | 7 | فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَى |
| and as for who withholds and considers himself sufficient | 8 | وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى |
| and denies the best | 9 | وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَى |
| then We will facilitate him towards difficulty | 10 | فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَى |
| and his wealth will not avail him when he falls | 11 | وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى |
| Indeed, with Us is the guidance | 12 | إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَى |
| and indeed, belonging to Us is the hereafter and the first | 13 | وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُوْلَى |
| so, I warn you of a blazing fire | 14 | فَأَنْذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّى |
| not will it burn except the most wretched | 15 | لَا يَصْلَاهَآ إِلَّا الأَشْقَى |
| the one who denied and turned away | 16 | الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى |
| and the righteous will be far removed from it | 17 | وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الأَتْقَى |
| the one who spends his wealth to purify himself | 18 | الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى |
| and look not to anyone with blessings amongst him for reward | 19 | وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى |
| except to seek the Countenance of his Lord, the Most High | 20 | إِلَّا ابْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَى |
| and very soon he will be extremely pleased | 21 | وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى |
