The description of wudu and its perfection
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ |
Humran (RA), the freed slave of Uthman (RA) narrated that ‘Uthman bin Affan (RA) | حَ |
called for water for wudu, to perform wudu. He washed his hands 3 times, then he | |
rinsed his mouth and nose, then he washed his face 3 times, then he washed his right | |
hand up to the elbow 3 times, then he washed his left hand in like manner, then he | |
wiped his head, then he washed his right foot up to the ankle 3 times, then he washed | |
his left foot in like manner, then he said, “I saw the Messenger of Allah (SWT) | |
performing wudu as I have done it, then the Messenger of Allah (SWT) said “whoever | |
performs wudu as I have done it, then stands up and prays 2 rakah in which he does | |
not let his mind wander, he will be forgiven his previous sins.” (One of the narrators) | |
Ibn Shihab (RA) said, “our scholars used to say, “this is the most complete wudu that | |
anyone may do for the salat.” | |

stayed behind during a journey that we were undertaking, the he caught up with us | |
when the time for salat al Asr was due. We started wiping (namsahu) over our feet | |
and he called out, “woe to the heels from the fire” | |

Sins exit with the water of wudu
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful | بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ |
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SWT) said, | |
“when a muslim (believer) performs wudu and washes his face, every sin that he | |
looked at with his eyes comes out from his face with the water or with the last drop | |
of the water, when he washes his hands, every sin that he committed with his hands | |
comes out from his hands with the water or with the last drop of the water, when he | |
washes his feet, evry sin to which he walked with his feet comes out from his feet | |
with the water or with the last drop of the water until he emerges cleansed of sins” | |

that it would be too difficult for the believers” according to the hadith of (one of the | |
narrators) Zuhair (RA) “for my ummah”, “I would have commanded them to use | |
the siwak for every salat” | |
