He is the First and the Last and the Apparent and the Hiddenهُوَ الْأَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ
57-3and He is All Knower over all thingsوَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ
on the day the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women will say to those who believedيَوْمَ يَقُوْلُ الْمُنَافِقُوْنَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ لِلَّذِيْنَ آمَنُواْ
‘look at us that we may borrow from your light’انْظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِن نُّوْرِكُمْ

57-13therein contains mercy while on the outer side of it is tormentفِيْهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ
