| Surah/ | Below are the 28 verses in the holy Quran containing the phrase | مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ |
| Verse | | |
| | |
| And surely you will find them the greediest of mankind for life | وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَى حَيَاةٍ |
| and from those who associate partners | وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أَشْرَكُوْا |
| Each one of them loves if he could be granted a life of a thousand years | يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ |
| but it will not remove him from the punishment, the grant of such a life | وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَهْزِحِهِ مِنَ العَذَابِ أَنْ يُعَمَّرَ |
| 2-96 | and Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what they do | وَاللهُ بَصِيْرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ |
| And when there came to them a Messenger from Allah (SWT) | وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ |
| confirming what was with them | مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ |
| a party of those who were given the Book threw away the book of Allah (SWT) | نَبَذَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوْا الكِتَابَ كِتَابَ اللهِ |
| 2-101 | behind their backs as if they did not know | وَرَآءَ ظُهُوْرِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ |
| Beautified to those who disbelieve is the life of this world | زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا الحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا |
| and they ridicule those who believe | وَيَسْخَرُوْنَ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا |
| Those who are mindful of Allah (SWT) will be above them on the day of Resurrection | وَالَّذِيْنَ اتَّقُوا فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ |
| 2-212 | and Allah (SWT) provides to whom He wills without measure | وَاللهُ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشّآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ |
| when Allah (SWT) said, “O Isa (AS) truly I will take you and raise you to Me | إِذْ قَالَ اللهُ يَا عِيْسَى إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيْكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ |
| and purify you from those who disbelieve | وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا |
| and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve | وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا |
| till the day of resurrection then to Me you will return | إِلَى يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ |
| 3-55 | then I will judge between you in what you used to differ in it” | فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيْمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيْهِ تَخْتَلِفُوْنَ |
| O you who believe! if you obey | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيْعُوا |
| a group from those who were given the book | فَرِيْقًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ |
| 3-100 | they will turn (return) you back to disbelieve after you believe | يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيْمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِيْنَ |
| that He cut off part from those who disbelieve | لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا |
| 3-127 | or suppress them, so they turn back disappointed | أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنْقَلِبُوا خَآئِبِيْنَ |
| Indeed, you will be tested in your wealth and yourselves | لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ |
| and you will certainly hear from those who were given the book from before you | وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ |
| and from those who associate, much hurt | وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أَشْرَكُوا أَذًى كَثِيْرًا |
| 3-186 | and if you are patient and mindful then surely, that is from determined matters | وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الأُمُوْرِ |
| from those who are jews, they distort the words from their places | مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُوْنَ الكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ |
| and they say, “we hear and we disobey” and “hear not to be heard | وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ |
| and “listen to us” twisting their tongues and defaming in the religion | وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّيْنِ |
| and if only they had said, “We hear and obey” and “hear and look at us” | وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا |
| certainly it would have been better for them and more upright | لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ |
| but Allah (SWT) cursed them for their disbelieve | وَلَاكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ |
| 4-46 | so, not they believe except a few | فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا |
| Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the book? | أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا نَصِيْبًا مِّنَ الكِتَابِ |
| They believe in superstition and false deities, and they say of those who disbelieve | يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوْتِ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا |
| 4-51 | “These are better guided than those who believe in the way” | هَآؤُلآءِ أَهْدَى مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا سَبِيْلًا |
| then for the wrongdoing of those who were jews, We forbade for them good things | فَبِظُلْمٍ مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَاتٍ |
| that were permitted for them | أُحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ |
| 4-160 | because of their hindering from the way of Allah (SWT) many | وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ كَثِيْرًا |
| This day the good things are made lawful for you | اليَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ |
| and the food of those who were given the book is lawful for you | وَطَعَامُ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَّكُمْ |
| and your food is lawful for them and the chaste women from the believers | وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَالمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ المُؤْمِنَاتِ |
| and the chaste women from those who were given the book from before you | وَالمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ |
| when you give them, their dowry being chaste, not being lewd | إِذَآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُوْرَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِيْنَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِيْنَ |
| and don’t take secret lovers and who denies the faith | وَلَا مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالإِيْمَانِ |
| then certainly his deeds became worthless | فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ |
| 5-5 | and he is in the hereafter from the losers | وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الخَاسِرِيْنَ |
| and from those who said, “indeed we are Christians” We took their covenant | وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَى أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَهُمْ |
| but they forgot a part of what they were reminded of it | فَنَسُوا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ |
| so, We aroused between them enmity and hatred until the day of resurrection | فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ العَدَاوَةَ وَالبَغْضَآعَ إِلَى يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ |
| 5-14 | and soon Allah (SWT) will inform them of what they do | وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللهُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُوْنَ |
| Two men from those who feared said, Allah (SWT) favored both of them | قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ يَخَافُوْنَ أَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمَا |
| “Enter upon them the gate then when you have entered it then truly you be victorious | ادْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمُ البَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوْهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُوْنَ |
| 5-23 | and on Allah (SWT) then place your trust (rely) if you be believers” | وَعَلَى اللهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِيْنَ |
| O messenger! Don’t you grieve for those who rush to disbelieve | يَآ أَيُّهَا الرَّسُوْلُ لَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِيْنَ يُسَارِعُوْنَ فِي الكُفْرِ |
| from those who said, “We believe” with their mouths but not their hearts believe | مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوا ءَامَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوْبُهُمْ |
| and from those who are jews are ones who listen to falsehood | وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوا سَمَّاعُوْنَ لِلْكَذِبِ |
| listeners to other people not they have come to you | سَمَّاعُوْنَ لِقَوْمٍ ءَاخَرِيْنَ لَمْ يَأْتُوْكَ |
| they distort the words from after their places, they say | يُحَرِّفُوْنَ الكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ يَقُوْلُوْنَ |
| “If you are given this then take it but if you are not given it then beware” | إِنْ أُوْتِيْتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوْهُ وَإِنْ لَّمْ تُوْتَوْهُ فَأَحْذَرُوا |
| and for who Allah (SWT) wishes a trial for him | وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ فِتْنَتَهُ |
| then not will you have any power for him against Allah (SWT) | فَلَنْ تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا |
| Those whom Allah (SWT) does not wish to purify their hearts | أُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوْبَهُمْ |
| 5-41 | for them in the world is disgrace and for them in the hereafter is severe punishment | لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ |
| O you who believe! Do not take those who took your religion in ridicule and play | يَآ أَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِيْنَ اتَّخَذُوا دِيْنَكُمْ هُزُوًا |
| from those who were given the book, from before you and the disbelievers, as allies | وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَالكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ |
| 5-57 | and be mindful of Allah (SWT) if you are (truly) believers | وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِيْنَ |

| 90-17 | and recommended to patience and recommended to mercy | وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالمَرْحَمَةِ |
