أَتَا
A word in the Arabic language will either be: 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – أَتَا is a verb
A verb will either be: 1) past tense or 2) present or future tense or 3) a command or request verb, also called an imperative – أَتَا is a past tense verb

Verse | ||
Verily, messengers from before you were denied | وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ | |
but they were patient over what they were rejected | فَصَبَرُوا عَلَى مَا كُذِّبُوا | |
and they were troubled (harmed) until came to them Our help | وَأُوْذُوا حَتَّى أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا | |
and no one can alter the words of Allah (SWT) | وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ | |
6-34 | and most certainly came to you of the news of the messengers | وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكَ مِنْ نَّبَإِىْ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ |
When you see you all, when the punishment of Allah (SWT) comes to you | قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللهِ | |
or the hour comes to you | أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ السَّاعَةُ | |
6-40 | will you all then call other than Allah (SWT) if you be truthful | أَغَيْرَ اللهِ تَدْعُوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِيْنَ |
Say “Can you see (imagine) you | قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ | |
if the punishment of Allah (SWT) comes to you suddenly or openly | إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً | |
6-47 | will any be destroyed except the wrongdoing people?” | هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا القَوْمُ الظَّالِمُوْنَ |
