| 2-17 | and left them in darkness so they could not see | وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُوْنَ |

| in faith those who believe and those who were given the book and the believers do not doubt | الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا إِيْمَانًا وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوا الكِتَابَ وَالمُؤْمِنُوْنَ | |
| and those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers may say, | وَلِيَقُوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالكَافِرُوْنَ | |
| “What does Allah (SWT) intend by this example?” thus Allah (SWT) leads astray whom He wills | مَاذَآ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللهُ مَنْ يَشَآءُ | |
| and guides whom He wills, and he knows not the hosts of your Lord but He | وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَآءُ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُوْدَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ | |
| 74-31 | and this is not except a reminder to mankind | وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ |
