Verse | ||
And stand up for the prayer and give the obligatory tax |
2-43 | and bow down along with the ones who submit |
And when We took the covenant of the Children of Israel |
Worship none but Allah (SWT) and be excellent to parents |
and to kindred and to orphans and to the needy and speak excellently to the people | وَذِيْ القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى وَالمَسَاكِيْنِ وَقُوْلُوْا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا
and establish the prayer and give the obligatory tax | وَأَقِيْمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ
2-83 | Then you turned away except a few among you and you were refusing |
Establish the prayer and pay the obligatory tax |
and whatever you send forth for yourselves of good you will find it with Allah (SWT) | وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوْا لِأَنِفُسِكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوْهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ
2-110 | Certainly Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what you do | إِنَّ اللهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ |
Piety is not that you turn your faces towards east and west |
But piety is one who believes in Allah (SWT) and the Last Day and the Angels |
and the Book and the Prophets and gives his wealth in spite of his love of it | وَالكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّنَ وَءَاتِي المَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ
to his relatives and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer | ذَوِى القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى وَالمَسَاكِيْنَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيْلِ
and to one’s who asks and in freeing the necks and who establish the prayer and give the tax | وَالسَّآئِلِيْنَ وَفِى الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتَى الزَّكَاةَ
and who fulfil their covenant when they make it | وَالمُوْفُوْنَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُوْا
and the ones who are patient in suffering and hardship and times of stress | وَالصَّابِرِيْنَ فِي البَأْسَآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ وَحِيْنَ البَأْسِ
2-177 | Those are who are true and those, they are Pious |
indeed, those who believed and did righteous deeds and established the prayer | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ
and gave the obligatory tax, for them, their reward is with their Lord | وَءَاتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ
2-277 | and no fear on them nor shall they grieve |
Did you not see to those, it was said to them, “Restrain (withhold) your hands | أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِيْنَ قِيْلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ
and establish (stand up) prayer and give the obligatory tax?”
then when the fighting was ordained on them | فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ القِتَالُ
behold (suddenly) a group among them fear men (people) like the fear of Allah (SWT) or greater, fear | إِذَا فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً
and they said, “Our Lord! Why You write (prescribe-ordain) for us the fighting? | وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا القِتَالَ
Why not You delay for us to a near term” |
Say, “Enjoyment of the world is little and the hereafter is better for who fears | قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيْلٌ وَالآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى
4-77 | and not you will be wronged a hair on a date seed” |
but the ones who are firm among them in the knowledge and the believers, believe | لَّاكِنِ الرَّاسِخُوْنَ فِي العِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَالمُؤْمِنُوْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ
in what was sent down to you and what was sent down from before you and they establish the prayer | بِمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَالمُقِيْمِيْنَ الصَّلَوةَ
and the ones who give the obligatory tax and the ones who believe in Allah (SWT) and the last day | وَالمُؤْتُوْنَ الزَّكَوةَ وَالمُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَاليَوْمِ الآخِرِ
4-162 | those, soon We will give them a great reward |
