Dear Reader

I greet you with the Islamic greeting of Peace.  السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ    May the peace and blessings of Allah (S.W.T) be upon you.

My name is Faizel Tar, and I was born in South Africa in the year 1961 to the most loving and kind, Muslim parents any son could wish for, and we moved to the United States in 1981 where I live to this day. In 2007 my caring and thoughtful sister and brother-in-law gifted me a set of cd’s containing a Qur’anic Arabic language course developed by esteemed Dr. V Abdur Rahim (https://abdurrahman.org/arabic-learning/madina-arabic/) and taught by our most respected and highly appreciated brother Asif Ali https://www.lqtoronto.com/videodl.html that changed the trajectory of my life and for that I will be forever indebted to them.

Study Quran Arabic is my attempt at documenting the knowledge that I have gained in reference to the Quran. I am attempting to analyze and explain each word in a verse according to my meager and extremely limited knowledge and understanding and thereby practically begin my journey into a basic understanding of the Quran. My goal is to document my current understanding in this site www.StudyQuranArabic.com and use it as a stepping-stone towards a stronger and more correct understanding as I grow. Www.Corpus.Quran.com has been an invaluable aid and a monumental resource to me at every step I took in furthering my understanding and I have no words to describe how great a service and contribution it is to Islam, and I commend and am indebted to the persons who are the engine behind it

Dear reader please note that I am merely a novice student, and this site captures what I know at this time and as I grow in understanding I intend to edit the content accordingly, so in no way is this work intended to be learnt or followed, and please bear with me concerning my mistakes and understanding and please bring to my attention any inconsistencies and faults that you come across so that I may increase and correct my understanding into the future.

If this work is an aid or is helpful in some way to someone, that is due to the blessings of Allah (SWT), and if you find this work faulty, that is due to the deficiency in my knowledge and the fault lies entirely on me. I seek forgiveness from Allah (SWT) the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful, for my deficiencies.

May Allah (SWT) amply reward those who contribute in any way towards a better understanding of Him and His Quran and His Prophet

Your brother in humanity

Faizel Tar
