57-The Iron

57-The Iron is the 57th chapter of the holy Quran, also searched as Surah Al-Hadid, Quran 57, Surah 57, Chapter 57 and سُوْرَةُ الحَدِيْدِ

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorify Allah (SWT)سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ
and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise1وَهُوَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ

He is the First and the Last and the Apparent and the Hiddenهُوَ الْأَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ
and He is All Knower over all things3وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ
on the day the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women will say to those who believedيَوْمَ يَقُوْلُ الْمُنَافِقُوْنَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ لِلَّذِيْنَ آمَنُواْ
‘look at us that we may borrow from your light’انْظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِن نُّوْرِكُمْ
it will be said ‘turn back and seek a light’قِيْلَ ارْجِعُواْ رَآءَكُمْ فَالْتَمِسُواْ نُوْرًا
and a wall will be placed between them with a door, the inner sideفَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِسُوْرٍ لَّهُ بَابٌ بَاطِنُهُ
therein contains mercy while on the outer side of it is torment13فِيْهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ
Know that the life of the world is play and a diversion and adornment and boasting among youاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الحَيَاةُ الدُّنَيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَزِيْنَةٌ وَتَفَاخُرٌ بَيْنَكُمْ 
of rivalry in wealth and children like the example of vegetation after rainوَتَكَاثُرٌ فِي الأَمْوَالِ وَالأَوْلَادِ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ الكُفَّارَ
whereof the growth is pleasing to the tillers then it dries up and turns yellow then becomes debrisنَبَاتُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيْجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَكُوْنُ حُطْمًا
and in the hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah SWT and His pleasureوَفِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللهِ وَرِضْوَانٌ
and what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of illusion20وَمَا الحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الغُرُوْرِ
those who are miserly and enjoin the people to miserliness and who turns awayالَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ النَّاسَ بِالبُخْلِ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ
then indeed Allah SWT, He is the Rich, the Praiseworthy24فَإِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الغَنِيُّ الحَمِيْدُ
then We caused Our Messengers to follow in their footstepsثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ بِرُسُلِنَا
and We caused Isa son of Mariam to follow and We gave him the Gospelوَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيْسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَءَاتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنْجِيْلَ
and We placed in the heart of those who followed him compassion and mercyوَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوْبِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَافَةً وَرَحْمَةً
and monasticism, which they invented, We did not prescribe it for themوَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ
except the seeking of Allah SWT’s pleasure, but they did not observe it with due observanceإِلَّا ابْتِغَآءَ رِضْوَانِ اللهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا
so We gave the ones who believed among them their rewardفَئَاتَيْنَا الَّذِيْنَ آَمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ
but many of them are defiantly disobedient27وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُوْنَ
