Chapter 19
Chapter 19 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Maryam – سُوْرَةُ مَرْيَمَ – Mary)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 16 / Chapter 19 | Chapter 19 / قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكَ إِنَّكَ | |
| Kaaf-Ha-Ya-Aain-Saad | 1 | ك ه ي ع ص |
| Remember the mercy of your Lord to his slave Zakariya | 2 | ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُ زَكَرِيَّآ |
| when he called his Lord, a secret calling | 3 | إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّا |
| She said, ‘I seek refuge with The Merciful from you’ | قَالَةْ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِالرَّحْمَانِ مِنْكَ | |
| if you be fearing | 18 | إِنْ كُنْتَ تَقِيًّا |
| he said, I am only a Messenger of your Lord | قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَاْ رَسُوْلُ رَبِّكِ | |
| to announce to you a pure son | 19 | لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا |
| Peace on me the day I was born and the day I die | السَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدْتُ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوْتُ | |
| and the day I am raised to live again | 33 | وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا |
| and mention in the book, Idris | وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيْسَ | |
| indeed he was truthful, a prophet | 56 | إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيْقًا نَّبِيًّا |
| and We raised him, a high position | 57 | وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا |
| those were whom Allah (SWT) bestowed favor upon them | أُوْلَآئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ أَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِم | |
| from among the prophets of the offspring of Adam (AS) | مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ | |
| and from whom We carried with Nuh (AS) and from the offspring of Ebrahim (AS) | وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ | |
| and Israel and from whom We guided, and We chose, when the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them | وَإِسْرَآئِيْلَ وَمِمَّن هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَآ إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِم | |
| they fell prostrating and weeping | 58 | ءَايَاتُ الرَّحْمَانِ خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا |
| of all who are in the heavens and the earth | إِنْ كُلُّ مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ | |
| except will come to The Merciful as a servant/slave | 93 | إِلَّآ آتِي الرَّحْمَانِ عَبْدًا |
| indeed He has enumerated them and counted them a counting | 94 | لَّقَدْ أَحْصَاهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا |
| and We have made it easy on your tongue | فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ | |
| to give glad tidings by it to the righteous | لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ المُتَّقِيْنَ | |
| and warn by it an aggressive/argumentative people | 97 | وَتُنْذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا |
| and how many a generation before them have We destroyed | وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ | |
| can you find among them a single one or hear even a whisper of them? | 98 | هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا |
