Chapter 24
Chapter 24 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah An-Nur -سُوْرَةُ النُّوْرِ – The Light)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 18 / Chapter 24 | Verse | Chapter 24 / قَدْ أَفْلَحَ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ |
| A chapter, We sent it down and enjoined it and revealed in it clear signs | سُوْرَةٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهَا وَفَرَضْنَاهَا وَأَنْزَلْنَا فِيْهَآ ءَايَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ | |
| so that you may remember | 1 | لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ |

| or like a darkness in a vast sea, covering it a wave, above it | أَوْ كَظُلُمَاتٍ فِيْ بَحْرٍ لُّجِّيٍّ يَغْشَاهُ مَوْجٌ مِّنْ فَوْقِهِ | |
| a wave, above it a cloud, darknesses, some of them above others | مَوْجٌ مِّنْ فَوْقِهِ سَحَابٌ ظُلُمَاتٌ بَعْضُهَا فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ | |
| when he holds out his hand, he can hardly see it | إِذَآ أَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ لَمْ يَكَدْ يَرَاهَا | |
| and to whom Allah SWT has not granted light then for him there is no light | 40 | وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ اللهُ لَهُ نُوْرًا فَمَا لَهُ مِن نُّوْرٍ |
| 53 | ||
| Say, “Obey Allah (SWT) and obey the Messenger but if you turn away then, only upon him | قُلْ أَطِيْعُوا اللهَ وَأَطِيْعُوا الرَّسُوْلَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ | |
| is what is placed on him and on you is what is placed on you | مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ | |
| and if you obey him, you will be guided and not is on the Messenger except conveying clearly” | 54 | وَإِن تُطِيْعُوْهُ تَهْتَدُوا وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُوْلِ إِلَّا البَلَاغُ المُبِيْنُ |
| Allah (SWT) has promised those who believe among you and do righteous deeds | وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ | |
| He will certainly grant them succession in the earth as He gave succession to those who were before them | لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى الأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِيْنَ مِن قَبْلِهِم | |
| and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has approved for them | وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُم دِيْنَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُم | |
| and surely, He will exchange for them from after their fear, security for they worship Me, not | وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِم أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا | |
| they associate with Me anything but whoever disbelieved after that, then those are the defiantly disobedient | 55 | يُشْرِكُوْنَ بِى شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَآئِكَ هُمُ الفَاسِقُوْنَ |

| no doubt! indeed, belongs to Allah (SWT) whatever is in the heavens and the earth | أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ | |
| verily, He knows what you are upon and the day when they will be returned to Him | قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَآ أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَوْمَ يُرْجَعُوْنَ إِلَيْهِ | |
| then He will inform them of what they did, and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing of everything | 64 | فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَاللهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ |
