Chapter 38
Chapter 38 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Sad – سُوْرَةٌ ص)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 23 / Chapter 38 | Chapter 38 / وَمَآ أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى قَومِهِ | |
| Saad | 1 | ص |
| By the Quran possessing the reminder | 2 | وَالقُرْءَانِ ذِى الذِّكْرِ |
| Nay, those who disbelieve are in self-glory and opposition | 3 | بَلِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا فِى عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ |

| he said, “certainly, he has wronged you in demanding your ewe in addition to his ewes | قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَى نِعَاجِهِ | |
| and indeed, many partners certainly oppress some of them on another | وَإِنَّ كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ الخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ | |
| except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and few are they” | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَقَلِيْلٌ مَّاهُمْ | |
| and Dawud (AS) guessed that We had tried him, so he asked forgiveness of his Lord | وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاهُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ | |
| and he fell down bowing (prostrate) and turned (repenting) | 24 | وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ |

| he said “my Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom (power) as no one after me will have | قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّن بَعْدِى | |
| truly You are the Most Generous Bestower | 35 | إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ |
| say ‘I am only a warner | قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَاْ مُنْذِرٌ | |
| and there is no god except Allah SWT the One, the Irresistible | 65 | وَمَا مِنْ إِلَاهٍ إِلَّا اللهُ الْوَاحِدُ القَهَّارُ |
| Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them | رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا | |
| the All Mighty, the Most Forgiving | 66 | العَزِيْزُ الغَفَّارُ |

| and you shall certainly know its news after a time | 88 | وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُ بَعْدَ حِيْنٍ |
