Chapter 40
Chapter 40 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Ghafir – سُوْرَةُ غَافِرٍ – The forgiver)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 24 / Chapter 40 | Chapter 40 / فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ | |
| Ha Meem | 1 | ح م |
| The revelation of the book is from Allah (SWT), the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing | 2 | تَنْزِيْلُ الكِتَابِ مِنَ اللهِ العَزِيْزِ العَلِيْمِ |
| 3 | ||
| our Lord, and admit them to gardens of eternity which You promised them | رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ | |
| and to the righteous among their fathers and their spouses and their offspring | وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ | |
| indeed You are the All Mighty, the All Wise | 8 | إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ |

| the day they come forth not a thing concerning them will be concealed from Allah SWT | يَوْمَ هُمْ بَارِزُوْنَ لَا يَخْفَى عَلَى اللهِ مِنْهُمْ شَيْءٌ | |
| to whom belongs the sovereignity this day? to Allah SWT the One, the Irresistible | 16 | لِّمَنِ المُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ |

| but their faith did not benefit them when they saw our punishment | فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنْفَعُهُمْ إِيْمَانُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوا بَأْسَنَا | |
| the way of Allah (SWT) which certainly prevails over His servants (slaves) | سُنَّتَ اللهِ الَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ فِى عِبَادِهِ | |
| and thereby, the disbelievers are lost | 85 | وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الكَافِرُوْنَ |
