Chapter 42
Chapter 42 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Ash-Shura – سُوْرَةُ الشُّوْرَى – The consultation)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 25 / Chapter 42 | Chapter 42 / إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ | |
| Ha-Meem | 1 | ح م |
| Aain-Seen-Qaaf | 2 | ع س ق |
| thus, reveals to you and to those from before you, Allah (SWT) the All Mighty, the All Wise | 3 | كَذَلِكَ يُوْحِى إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اللهُ العَزِيْزُ الحَكِيْمُ |
| or have they taken protectors other than Him | أَمِ اتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُوْنِهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ | |
| but Allah SWT, He is the Protector and He gives life to the dead | فَاللهُ هُوَ الوَلِيُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِ الْمَوْتَى | |
| and He has Power over every thing | 9 | وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ |

| you see the wrongdoers fearful of what they earned and it will befall them | تَرَى الظَّالِمِيْنَ مُشْفِقِيْنَ مِمَّا كَسَبُواْ وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌ بِهِم | |
| whilst those who belief and do righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens | وَالَّذِيْنَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي رَوْضَاتِ الجَنَّاتِ | |
| for them whatever they wish with their Lord | لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُوْنَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِم | |
| that, it is the great bounty | 22 | ذَلِكَ هُوَ الفَضْلُ الكَبِيْرُ |
| and He is who sends down the rain after they had despaired | وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ الغَيْثَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُواْ | |
| and spreads His mercy and He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy | 28 | وَيَنْشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ وَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الحَمِيْدُ |

| the path of Allah (SWT) who to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth | صِرَاطِ اللهِ الَّذِى لَهُ مَا فِى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِى الأَرْضِ | |
| unquestionably, to Allah (SWT) reach all affairs | 53 | أَلَآ إِلَى اللهِ تَصِيْرُ الأُمُورُ |
