Chapter 98
Chapter 98 of the holy Quran with full Arabic text and English translation (Surah Al-Bayyinah – سُوْرَةُ البَيِّنَةِ – The clear evidence)
In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Eternally Merciful
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيْمِ
| Part 30 / Chapter 98 | Chapter 98 / عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُوْنَ | |
| Not were those who disbelieved from the people of the book | لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ | |
| and the polytheists to be freed | وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ مُنْفَكِّيْنَ | |
| until the clear evidence comes to them. | 1 | حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
| A Messenger from Allah (SWT) reciting purified pages, | 2 | رَسُوْلٌ مِّنَ اللهِ يَتْلُوْا صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً |
| in which are correct writings. | 3 | فِيْهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ |
| And those who were given the book differed not, | وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِيْنَ أُوْتُوْا الْكِتَابَ | |
| until after clear evidence came to them. | 4 | إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَائَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
| And not were they commanded except to worship Allah (SWT), | وَمَآ أُمِرُوْا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْا اللهَ | |
| being sincere to Him, the upright religion, | مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ حُنَفَآءَ | |
| and to establish the prayer, | وَيُقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ | |
| and to give the charity (obligatory tax), | وَيُؤْتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ | |
| and that is the correct religion. | 5 | وَذَلِكَ دِيْنُ القَيِّمَةِ |
| Truly those who disbelieve from the people of the book and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell, | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِيْنَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ | |
| abiding therein forever. | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَآ | |
| Those are the worst of creatures. | 6 | أُوْلَآئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ البَرِيَّةِ |
| Truly those who believe and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures. | 7 | إِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوْا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُلَآئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ |
| Their reward is with their Lord, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow | جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ | |
| They will abide therein forever. | خَالِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ أَبَدًا | |
| Allah (SWT) pleased with them and they with Him. | رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ | |
| That is for who feared his Lord. | 8 | ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
