1وَالْفَجْرِ
By the dawn
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
2عَشْرٍلَيَالٍوَ
tennightsand
3الوَتْرَِوالشَّفْعَِو
the oddandthe evenand
4يَسْرِإِذَاالَّيْلَِو
it departswhenthe nightsand
5لِّذِي حَجْرٍقَسَمٌفِي ذَلِكَهَلْ
for who possess understandingan oathin thatare there not
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ وَهُوَ مُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِجَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
6بِعَادٍرَبُّكَفَعَلَكَيْفَلَم تَرَأَ
with Aadyour Lorddealthowyou not seedid
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِحَرْفٌ جَزْمٌ وَفِعْلٌ مَجْزُوْمٌ
7العِمَادِذَاتِإِرَمَ
lofty pillarspossessors ofIram
8فِي الْبِلَادِمِثْلُهَالَم يُخْلَقْالَّتِي
in the landlike themnot has been createdwhich
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِحَرْفٌ جَزْمٌ وَفِعْلٌ مَجْزُوْمٌ
9بِالوَادِالصَّخْرَجَابُوْاالَّذِيْنَثَمُوْدَوَ
in the valleythe rockscarvedwhoThamudand
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
10الأَوْتَادِذِيفِرْعَوْنَوَ
the stakespossessingFiraunand
11فِي البِلَادِ طَغَوْاالَّذِيْنَ
in the landtransgressedwho
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
12الفَسَادَفِيهَآأَكْثَرُوْافَ
corruptionthereincaused muchand
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
13سَوْطَ عَذَابٍرَبُّكَعَلَيْهِمصَبَّفَ
a variety of punishmentyour Lordon thempouredso
مُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِجَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
14بِالمِرْصَادِلَرَبَّكَإِنَّ
is ever watchfulcertainlyyour LordIndeed
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
أَكْرَمَهُفَرَبُّهُابْتَلَاهُمَاإِذَاالإِنْسَانُأَمَّافَ
honoring himbyhis Lordtries himdoeswhenmanas forand
فِعْلٌ وَمَفْعُوْلٌ بِهِمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِفِعْلٌ وَمَفْعُوْلٌ بِهِ
15أَكْرَمَنِرَبِّييَقُوْلُفَنَعَّمَهُوَ
honored memy Lordhe saysthenfavoring himand
مُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِفِعْلٌ وَمَفْعُوْلٌ بِهِ
رِزْقَهُعَلَيْهِقَدَرَفَابْتَلَاهُمَاإِذَاأَمَّاوَ
his provisionfor himrestrictingbytries himdoeswhenas forhowever
فِعْلٌ وَمَفْعُوْلٌ بِهِجَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌفِعْلٌ وَمَفْعُوْلٌ بِهِ
16أَهَانَنِرَبِّييَقُوْلُفَ
humbled memy Lordhe saysthen
فِعْلٌ وَمَفْعُوْلٌ بِهِمُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
17اليَتِيْمَتُكْرِمُوْنَلَابَلْكَلَّا
the orphanyou honornoton the contrarynay!
18عَلَي طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِتَحَاضُّوْنَلَاوَ
to feed the poorthey feel the urgenotand
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ وَهُوَ مُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
19لَّمًّاأَكْلًاالتُّرَاثَتَأْكُلُوْنَوَ
whollyconsumingthe inheritanceyou consumeand
20جَمًّاحُبًّاالمَالَتُحِبُّوْنَوَ
an excessivelovewealthyou loveand
21دَكًّادَكًّاالأَرْضُدُكَّتِإِذَاكَلَّ
(to) dust(to) powderthe earthcrushedwhennay
22صَفًّاصَفًّاالمَلَكُوَرَبُّكَجَآءَوَ
(upon) rankrankthe angelsandyour Lordcomesand
مُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
أَنَّىوَالإِنْسَانُيَتَذَكَّرُيَوْمَئِذٍبِجَهَنَّمَيَوْمَئِذٍجِيْءَوَ
how (will benefit)butmanwill rememberThat dayHellthat dayis broughtand
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
23الذِّكْرَىلَهُ
the remembrancefor him
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ
24لِحَيَاتِيقَدَّمْتُلَيْتَنِييَايَقٌوْلُ
for my lifeI sent forthwould that IOhe will say
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ وَهُوَ مُضَافٌ وَ مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
25أَحَدٌعَذَابَهُيُعَذِّبُلَايَوْمَئِذٍفَ
anyone(as) his punishmentwill punishnotthat dayso
مُضَافٌ وَ مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
26أَحَدٌوَثَاقَهُيُوْثِقُلَاوَ
anyonethe binding of hiswill bind (as)notand
مُضَافٌ وَ مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
27المُطْمَئِنَّةُيَآ أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ
satisfiedO soul
حَرْفُ النِّدَآءِ وَحَرْفُ التَّنْبِيهِ
28مَرْضِيَّةًرَضِيّةًإِلَى رَبِّكِارْجِعِي
pleasingpleasedto your Lordreturn
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ وَهُوَ مُضَافٌ وَ مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
29فِي عِبَادِيادْخُلِيفَ
among my slavesenterSo
جَارٌ وَمَجْرُوْرٌ وَهُوَ مُضَافٌ وَ مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
30جَنَّتِيادْخُلِيوَ
my Paradiseenterand
مُضَافٌ وَ مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ
