ذِي

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – ذِي is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive

ذُو is the natural state of this demonstrative pronoun and it becomes ذِي due to: 1) a preposition that precedes it or 2) a possessed noun that precedes it or 3) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym

Surah/Below are the 21 verses in the holy Quran, containing the pronounذِي
Verse
And when We took the covenant of the Children of Israelوَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيْلَ
Worship none but Allah (SWT) and be excellent to parentsلَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ إِلَّا اللهَ وَبِالوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا
and to kindred and to orphans and to the needyوَذِيْ القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى وَالمَسَاكِيْنِ
and speak excellently to the peopleوَقُوْلُوْا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا
and establish the prayer and give the obligatory taxوَأَقِيْمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ
2-83Then you turned away except a few among you and you were refusingثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ مُعْرِضُوْنَ
and worship Allah (SWT) and do not associate with Him anythingوَاعْبُدُوا اللهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا
and with your parents be excellent and with the relatives and the orphansوَبِالوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى
and the needy and the near neighbor and the distant neighborوَالمَسَاكِيْنِ وَالجَارِ ذِي القُرْبَى وَالجَارِ ذِي الجُنُبِ
and the companion by your side, the wayfarer and who your right hands possessوَالصَّاحِبِ بِالجَنْبِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيْلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ
4-36indeed Allah (SWT) does not love who is self-deluded boasterإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَنْ كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَغُوْرًا
and on those who are jew We forbade every (animal) possessing clawsوَعَلَى الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ
and from the cows and the sheep We forbade to them their fatوَمِنَ البَقَرِ وَالغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَآ
except what their backs carried  or the entrails or what is joined with the boneإِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُوْرُهُمَآ أَوِ الحَوَايَآ أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ
6-146that, We recompensed them for their rebellion and surely, We are certainly truthfulذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُمْ بِبَغْيِهِمْ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُوْنَ
and know that what you obtain as spoils of war of anythingوَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُم مِّنْ شَيْءٍ
then that belonging to Allah (SWT) is one fifth of it and for the messengerفَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُوْلِ
and for the relatives and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarerوَلِذِي القُرْبَى وَاليَتَامَى وَالمَسَاكِيْنِ وَابنِ السَّبِيْلِ
if you believe in Allah (SWT) and in what We revealed to Our slaveإِنْ كُنْتُمْ ءَامَنْتُمْ بِاللهِ وَمَآ أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا
the day of distinction (the criterion-measure) the day the two forces metيَوْمَ الفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ التَقَى الجَمْعَانِ
8-41and Allah (SWT) is upon everything All-Powerfulوَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
and that, “seek forgiveness of your Lord and turn in repentance to Himوَأَنِ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوْبُوآ إِلَيْهِ
He will let you enjoy a good enjoyment for an appointed termيُمَتِّعْكُم مَّتَاعًا حَسَنًا إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى
and give every possessor of grace, His Grace but if you turn awayوَيُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلَهُ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوا
11-3then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great dayفَإِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ كَبِيْرٍ
