أَصْحَابِ
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – أَصْحَابِ is a noun
A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive

Verily We have sent you with the truth, a bringer of glad tidings and a warner | إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالحَقِّ بَشِيْرًا وَنَذِيْرًا | |
2-119 | and you will not be asked about the companions of the blazing fire | وَلَا تُسْئَلُ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ الجَحِيْمِ |
“Truly I wish that you be laden with my sin and your sin so you will be from the companions of the fire | إِنِّي أُرِيْدُ أَنْ تَبُوْأَ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ فَتَكُوْنَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ | |
5-29 | and that is the recompense of the wrong doers” | وَذَلِكَ جَزَآؤُا الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
and when their eyes are turned towards the companions of the fire | وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَارُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ | |
7-47 | they say, “Our Lord, make us not with the wrongdoing people” | قَالُوا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ القَوْمِ الظَّالِمِيْنَ |
Did not come to them the news of those from before them, the people of Nuh (AS) and Aad and Thamud | أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِيْنَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُوْدَ | |
and the people of Ebrahim (AS) and the companions of Madian and the towns overthrown | وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ | |
their messengers came to them with the clear signs | أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالبَيِّنَاتِ | |
9-70 | so, not was Allah (SWT) to wrong them but they used to wrong themselves | فَمَا كَانَ اللهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَاكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ |
