Verse | ||
and not is for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake | وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا خَطَئًا
and whoever killed a believer by mistake then freeing a believing slave | وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَئًا فَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ
and blood money must be paid to his family unless they remit as charity | وَدِيَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلَّآ أَن يَصَّدَّقُوا
but if they were from a people hostile to you and he was a believer | فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَّكُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
then freeing a believing slave | فَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ
and if they were from a people between you and between them was a treaty | وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيْثَاقٌ
then blood money payment to his family and freeing of a believing slave | فَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ وَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ
and whoever does not find then fasting of two months consecutively | فَمَن لَّم يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ
4-92 | as a repentance from Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, All-Wise | تَوْبَةً مِّنَ اللهِ وَكَانَ اللهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا |
Allah (SWT) will not take you to account for what is unintentional in your oaths | لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ
but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths | وَلَاكِنْ يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ بِمَا عَقَّدْتُمُ الأَيْمَانَ
So, its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people | فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِيْنَ
from the average of what you feed your families | مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُوْنَ أَهْلِيكُمْ
or clothing them or freeing a slave | أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ
however, who does not find then fasting three days | فَمَنْ لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ
that is the expiation of your oaths when you have sworn | ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ
and protect your oaths | وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ
Thus Allah (SWT) makes clear to you His signs | كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَاتِهِ
