A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – الدِّيْنِ is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive 

الدِّيْنُ is the natural state of a definite noun and it became الدِّيْنِ due to: 1) a preposition that precedes it or 2) a possessed noun that precedes it or 3) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym

Surah/Below are the 31 verses in the holy Quran containing the definite, genitive nounالدِّيْنِ
Verse
1-4Owner of the day of recompenseمَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ
There is no compulsion in the religionلَآ إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّيْنِ
surely, the right has become distinct from the wrongقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الغَيِّ
then whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah (SWT)فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوْتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللهِ
then surely, he grasped the most trustworthy handhold, no break in itفَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالعُرْوَةِ الوُثْقَى لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا
2-256and Allah (SWT) is All-Hearing, All-Knowingوَاللهُ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ
from those who are jews, they distort the words from their placesمِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُوْنَ الكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ
and they say, “we hear and we disobey” and “hear not to be heard and “listen to us”وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا
twisting their tongues and defaming in the religion and if only they had said,لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّيْنِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا
“We hear and obey” and “hear and look at us” certainly it would have been better for themسَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ
4-46and more upright but Allah (SWT) cursed them for their disbelieve so, not they believe except a fewوَأَقْوَمَ وَلَاكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ إِلَّا قَلِيْلًا
truly, those who believe and emigrate and struggle with their wealth and their livesإِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ
in the way of Allah (SWT) and those who gave shelter and helped, those, some of themفِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَاوَوا وَّنَصَرُوا أُوْلَآئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ
are allies of others but those who believed and did not emigrate, it is not on you forأَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ وَالَّذِيْنَ ءَامَنُوا وَلَمْ يُهَاجِرُوا مَا لَكُم مِّن
their protection in anything until they emigrate and if they seek your helpوَلَايَتِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ حَتَّى يُهَاجِرُوا وَإِنِ اسْتَنْصَرُوْكُمْ
in the religion, then upon you is the help except against a people between you and between them is a treatyفِي الدِّيْنِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ إِلَّا عَلَى قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيْثَاقٌ
8-72and Allah (SWT) is All-Seeing of what you doوَاللهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ
and if they repent and establish the prayer and pay the obligatory tax then they are your brothers in the religionفَإِنْ تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّيْنِ
9-11so, We explain the signs for a people who knowوَنُفَصِّلُ الئَايَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُوْنَ
He is who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truthهُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَهُ بِالهُدَى وَدِيْنِ الحَقِّ
9-33to manifest it over all religions even if the polytheists dislike itلِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّيْنِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ المُشْرِكُوْنَ
and not are the believers that they go forth all together so, if not go forth from every partyوَمَا كَانَ المُؤْمِنُوْنَ لِيَنْفِرُوا كَآفَّةً فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ
among them, a group, that they may obtain understanding in the religion and that they may warn the peopleمِّنْهُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا فِي الدِّيْنِ وَلِيُنْذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ
9-122when they return to them so that they may bewareإِذَا رَجَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُوْنَ
10-105and that “Direct your face to the religion, upright and do not be of the polytheistsوَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّيْنِ حَنِيْفًا وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ المُشْرِكِيْنَ

82-9Nay! but you deny the judgementكَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِالدِّيْنِ
82-15They will burn in it on the day of judgementيَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ
82-17and what will make you know what the day of judgement is?وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ
82-18Again, what will make you know what the day of judgement is?ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ
83-11those who deny the day of judgementالَّذِيْنَ يُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ
95-7So, what makes you deny the final requital?فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّيْنِ
107-1Have you seen him who denies the judgement?أَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكِذِّبُ بِالدِّيْنِ
