الرَّحِيْمُ
A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – الرَّحِيْمُ is a noun
A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative or genitive
الرَّحِيْمُ is the natural state of a definite noun and it is in this state ( مَرْفُوْعٌ) when the noun is: 1) the subject المُبْتَدَأُ or 2) the predicate الخَبَرُ or 3) اسْمُ كَانَ or 4) خَبَرُ إِنَّ or 5) الفَاعِلُ subject of a verb in the active voice or 6) نَائِبُ الفَاعِلِ subject of a verb in the passive voice or 7) it’s a noun of dependent declension a) نَعْتٌ / صِفَطٌ adjectives b) التَّوْكِيْدُ emphatic c) المَعْطُوْفٌ conjunction d) البَدَلُ synonym
Extremely and continuously Loving and Merciful
To love, have tenderness, have mercy, pity, forgiveness, show goodness, favour, have all that is required for exercising beneficence
2. الرَّحِيْمُ is one of the most beautiful names of Allah SWT
O Allah SWT, You are extremely and continuously Loving and Merciful and more so towards those who believe and do righteous deeds and supplicate to You for their needs.

Then Adam received from his Lord Words and his Lord pardoned him | فَتَلَقَّى ءَادَمُ مِنْ رَّبِّهِ كَلِمَاتٍ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ | |
2-37 | Truly He is the Acceptor of repentance, Most Merciful | إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
And when Moses said to his people “O my people! Truly you have wronged yourselves | وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوْسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ | |
by taking the calf (for worship) so, turn to your Creator (in repentance) | بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ العِجْلَ فَتُوْبُوْا إِلَى بَارِئِكُمْ | |
and kill yourselves (ego) that will be better for you with your Creator” | فَاقْتُلُوْا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِئِكُمْ | |
2-54 | then He accepted your repentance Truly He is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful | فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
“Our Lord, make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You | رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةً مُسْلِمَةً لَّكَ | |
2-128 | and show us our rites and turn to us, truly You are Oft Returning, Most Merciful” | وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
Except whom repent and be righteous and openly declare | إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ تَابُوْا وَأَصْلَحُوْا وَبَيَّنُوْا | |
2-160 | then those I will accept repentance from them I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful | فَأُوْلَآئِكَ أَتُوْبُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
2-163 | and your God is one God, there is no god except He, Compassionate, Merciful | وَإِلَاهُكُمْ إِلَاهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَّآ إِلَاهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَانُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
Did they not know that Allah (SWT), He accepts the repentance from His slaves and takes the | أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَأْخُذُوا | |
9-104 | charities and that Allah (SWT), He is the Acceptor of repentance, Most-Merciful | الصَّدَقَاتِ وَأَنَّ اللهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
and on the three, those who were left behind until when the earth straitened for them | وَعَلَى الثَّلَاثَةِ الَّذِيْنَ خُلِفُوا حَتَّى إِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَرْضُ | |
though it was vast, and their own souls were straitened for them, and they were certain that there is no refuge | بِمَا رَجُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّوا أَنْ لَّا مَلْجَأَ | |
from Allah (SWT) except to Him then He turned to them that they may repent | مِنَ اللهِ إِلَّآ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوْبُوا | |
9-118 | surely, Allah (SWT) He is Oft-Returning (Acceptor of repentance), Most-Merciful | إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
and if Allah (SWT) touches you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him | وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ | |
and if He intends for you any good, then there is no repeller of His bounty | وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ | |
10-107 | He causes it to reach whom He wills of His slaves, and He is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful | يُصِيْبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ |
