ذَلِكَ

A word in the Arabic language will either be 1) a verb or 2) a noun or 3) a particle – ذَلِكَ is a noun

A noun may either be 1) Definite or indefinite 2) Masculine or feminine 3) Singular, dual or plural 4) Nominative, accusative, genitive or fixed

ذَلِكَ is a demonstrative pronoun of the third person, masculine, singular and can be translated as

that but it is also used in the sense of this indicating the high rank and dignity of the thing to which it refers

And they were not commanded except to worship Allah (SWT) sincere to Him the upright religionوَمَا أُمِرُوْا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْا اللهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيْمُوْا الصَّلَاةَ
98-5and to establish the prayer and to give the charity and that is the correct religionوَيُؤْتُوْا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِيْنُ القَيِّمَةِ
Their reward is with their Lord, eternal gardens, underneath which rivers flow. They will abideجَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِيْنَ
98-8therein forever, Allah (SWT) pleased with them and they with Him. That is for who feared his Lordفِيْهَا أَبَدًا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ
100-7and to that he bears witnessوَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيْدٌ
107-2That is he who repulses the orphanفَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَ
